  1. It seems like somef people are calling for the removal of Lynch from this team. I personally want to see him stay and possibly return to form. Would like to know what the general consensus on this forum is...
  2. Without a doubt Brohm! 1) he's already on the roster 2) he should be give a chance over Edwards/Fitzy 3) naming him the starter "probably" means we went OT in Rd 1 or 2, so he'll have a better chance at surviving the pass rush 4) it could be the start of the "greatest practice squad pick-up" in Bills recent history...I can just see the NFL Top 10 Pick-ups...haha
  3. Good point...I would like to assume that Buddy and the boys are looking at who could be available in the 2011 draft...
  4. With there being a limit on 7 total inducted (2 of which would have to be senior candidates) and Smith and Rice eligible...I say there wasn't very much chance for Reed... Looking forward to next year for sure...anyone know who's a 1st time candidate next year?
  5. I'm surprised at: Eric Berry - 2 votes - best safety in draft...okay...so if he falls...trade back! someone should want to trade up... Spiller - 2 votes - what?!?!? even if we trade Lynch, that doesn't mean draft Spiller at #9...exactly why we shouldn't trade Lynch...creates a need that we don't need to address Iupati - 2 votes - assuming Wood is back, I'd say we are set with our interior linemen...too high to draft here anyway votes for Morgan/Bryant - let's just say these voters were distracted by a phone call or alarm of some sort... -
  6. I HOPE Bradford is off the board at #9...Clausen would be nice! When if comes down to the #9 pick...I hope things work out so we don't have any "what ifs" in the future...meaning we don't really have a choice between McClain, Bulaga, Clausen, Bradford, Davis
  7. Suh/McCoy would be a steal...but not going to happen period! I'm really hoping for McClain, Bulaga, Clausen...in that order. Anything else would be a disappointment
  8. Bulaga and Cody NICE...addresses OT/NT need...question is Cody sufficient...i read on another post that he's not a 3-down kind of guy... RD3/4 I believe really depends what happens in the next 2-3 weeks...with coaching staff pretty much complete, evaluations can proceed and cuts will be made...then we will know if we go QB round 3, LB, or best available player... stay tuned!
  9. I would love to see us bring in a solid #2 (Chambers, Walter) but this would just lead us to another season of "what about Hardy/Stevie" or "give Hardy/Stevie a chance to prove themselves before calling them a bust".
  10. It would be a shame if we didn't keep Lynch...so he had an off year, which was amplified by Jackson's incredible performance...he's still a hard-to-tackle bruiser of a back Don't trade him...last thing we need is a need for RBs...after all we already need (OTs,QB,LB,DT) PS: Teams would kill for a 1-2 punch like the one we have...those that do have/had one are/were pretty successful - i.e. LT-Turner, Barber-Jones, Peterson-Taylor, CJ-White, Bush-Pierre, Dunn-Alstott, MJD-Taylor, Brown-Ricky, DeAngelo-Stewart...you get the point
  11. The way I see it...we have made some (not all) poor draft choices in recent years..that's why we have a new GM,HC,assistants, etc. The past is the past...let just wait a see what Buddy and his boys do this year...just give them a chance
  12. Welcome back...best to have no expectations and treat any decent FA signing as icing on the cake
  13. Although Chan didn't give away anything (not that anyone should have expecting him to), I came out of that interview a little bit better. He surely gives great responses, responses that give me a sense of optimism...also during interviews he seldom gets stumped...he's either a closet-politician or the head coach that's gonna take Buffalo back to the playoffs.
  14. I'm with you...let's see how the draft goes, FA signings...I say give em two years and evaluate from there. They are hired and I do not want to see a Turk-like firing right before the season...or any AVP-type shake up for that matter...only time will tell
  15. As idiotic as it sounds...with a 1 ou of 10000000000000000 chance...it is plausible...but nevertheless an unnecessary post...
  16. Best way to say it! I think we all can agree...eventually...that hiring Nix and Gailey, although not our 1st, 2nd, or even 6th choice, is/will be a good thing because of their willingness to be here...I definitely wouldnt want to employ someone who doesnt want to be here.
  17. This would right so many wrongs this offseason by Ralph and company...any other FA signing would be BONUS!
  18. It's funny how the only coaching moves that most Bills fans are happy/excited about are Bills coaches from last season... What I want to know is when they're gonna hire a DC!
  19. Doesn't get anymore unsubstantiated than this...
  20. Agree 100%...with our QB situation, i dont care how much analysts say he wont translate into a NFL qb...you dont pass up that kind of leadership, heart, winning attitude in the 3rd round!
  21. You would think afirst time NFL head coach would jump at the chance to receive assistance from someone of Dan Reeves calibur...especially when Reeves publicly stated "...if I could help Chan Gailey out, I would certainly be interested in that." link in case you didn't see it... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...falo/?related=1
  22. Bradford...no thank you Sometimes I wish draft track records should be supplied with mock drafts...some mock drafts out there are just absurd...
  23. I don't seem many ways we can go wrong if we grab him in the 4th/5th round...this assuming that we shore up other areas in earlier rounds first...
