I tuned into WHAM out of Rochester to get some Bills talk on Bob Matthews. Not my favorite but Dope and Lapdog were talking about anything and everything but the Bills. They've been screaming for Nix to get canned, when he does, they are dumbfounded and desparate for something else to B word about.

I know it's only about wins, but if you subscribe to the "madness is repeating the same actions and expecing different results" logic, then this sure ain't the same old Bills. 13 years of futility or not -- I'm getting pumped. In retrospect, Thurman was dead nuts on this. Also in retrospect, this would have been a far better markeing pitch than what we're using now!

Yeah maybe. He also had the old man over his head calling shots - unlike now. Buddy did a good job amassing some talent. I think we are the better for having him as a bridge to where we are now. I too am surprised he didn't finish the season. But this is Brandon's team now and I like the direction we're heading. But I don't think we would have gotten here without Buddy.

Buddy has repeatedly said he drafts tackles and moves them inside if they don't pan out. I think they feel good with what they have or they are waiting for some upcoming vet cuts.
