  1. Hey San Jose thanks for the prop. I'm trying to stay above the fray with this guy. I'm heading back to the old alma mater next week to do a alumni event for Tom McCray. Then in a few weeks it's off to the Ralph for round one of the draft. Hope all is well out your way.
  2. Why yes Randy that's exactly right. There's not a day that goes by that I do not get up and say "how can I show off my snobbery today?" Most days it's quite easy because people like you make ridiculous posts on TBD. And that's why I like to look forward instead of looking backward. Because Randy, when I look backward I see people like you--who with your adolescent tantrums, name calling and venom spewing, cannot seem to sustain an adult conversation. so why don't you just go back and continue screaming for Orakpo while I wait for our new draft.
  3. Mediocre my ass. Fergy was above average -- not elite, but damn good. He had strong and accurate arm. He would get hang-dog sometimes but by and large, a very good QB. If we end up taking one of the QB class this year and he ended up as productive as Joe, I'd be very happy.
  4. The reason why the Giants were close enough (both SB's) to have have one great play or two win the day is because they had a superior defense. The Giants harrassed Brady and disrupted that prolific offense and gave their O a chance to win. So you will never sell me the notion defenses are over rated. Far from it. I'll put money on the #1 D vs. the #1 O any day.
  5. Let's see what he does this year. Because RT's come cheaper than LT's and what you are saying is basically blow a # 8 pick on a RT --- because we already have a LT! Glenn had a great year last year, expecially before he was hurt. Who says a rook will be better? Nix, for all his detractors - has shown lots of savvy in putting together a solid O line. With all the holes this team has drafting what we already have is just a wasted pick. Hell, while we are at it, pick a RB in the second round.
  6. Like the prolific Raven's offense? Last I checked they shut down the best O in the league in New England and then kept Kaep in check in the SB. Gotta still play D to win.
  7. I'm with the Old Timer
  8. In that case he's likely just a TC arm.
  9. It would seem the decent thing to do.
  10. Well, Buddy says there's two starters in this QB class. Which two gives puzzlement.
  11. The best laid plans of mice and men.......
  12. You can spend your life either looking bacward or forward. Time to move on.
  13. Kolb. Has up tempo experience. They brought him here to keep us respectable while the rook is learning.
  14. 1) Trade our #1 this year for a 2014 #1 pick, bundle them and draft Johnny Football next year. 2) Stop all nonsense talk about moving a future alll-pro LT to RT. We have a LT, don't draft what we already have. If we have to pick at 8, best LB or receiver available.
  15. +1 Besides what good is an improved offense when your D is giving up 200 yds rushing and 450 yds total every damn week? They'd never see the field.
  16. That could be more serious than you think. I suggest they rest him for a season.
  17. You stand corrected. We do NOT need to take a RB high in the draft.
  18. Buddy says shove metrics up your a**, Clabo was a turnstile and not worth the money. You crap on him for not signing the guy, and if he did, and Clabo sucked, you'd crap on him for a bad signing. Like I said, it's TBD baby. If you read my posts, I said you can bash Buddy for a lot of things but not for everything and certainly not for Clabo.
  19. Well at least I wasn't the first one who bit but....yup, to me Mingo=Mayhem.
  20. Hi Cotton. It does have a ring to it doesn't it? Just add "eh" for the Toronto game.
  21. Like I said, this is TBD baby! Go ahead and bash Buddy all you want but he wasn't wrong on Clabo.
