    You assume Moeaki is not viable as a starter? I think we need both new guards. Urbik is fine as a backup. Leguski's gotta go. Hopefully Hairston can push Pears to a backup role. All this said, I'd love to hear somebody who really knows what they're talking about to give us a break down as the OP suggested.

    Not just the team's call. Byrd's being coy on whether or not he wants to be here. If we win out the rest of the year, he may want to stay and be a part of a team on the rise. All he has seen to date is futility.

    Looks like Whaley isn't standing still. He's signed some giant tackle off the Raven's PS and is putting him at guard. I think the FO knows we need a G and a RT moving forward.

    Well, he should know that his performance was easily one of the most pathetic I've seen from a hope of a franchise. Even Tuel throws behond 7 yards and connects. 10 drive starts end with 9 punts and a pick. Wow. He should also know he has the rest of the year to show he's the guy. If he plays like he did Sunday, let's hope there is another qb we can take with our top 5 draft pick.

    He's a PR guy for the team who writes features to keep fans interested. He does a decent job of it. No need to beat him up for doing his job.

    Good read. We need to find ways to stop giving games away. Still, doing what we have done with rooks and PS playing QB, young receivers and 3/4's of our secondary hurt is cause for some optimism.

    Nice work Bang. I am less concerned about his anxious throws like the Woods miss than I am about the half field reads. I see it happening fairly often. I do like that he improves week to week so this injury is a big set back.

    Absolutely right. TJ is not cutting it. He's fast but lacks a reciever's instinct. He runs routes but doesn't react to the ball. Easley has earned a shot with the ones.
