  1. The FO has a good track record with RFA tenders and have shown patience and mostly accurate judgment on a players value. I agree they would likely match a reasonable offer for Gillislee.
  2. Add Eric Flowers and Walt Patulski. And the go cloaer to the top of the list.
  3. God I hate emoticons, especially of this ilk. However I agree on the OP's thoughtful post, but a simple +1 would convey the meaning without the bad clip art.
  4. His faux pas was self-evident. No need to be so virulent and harsh. Many of the new folks are damn good posters. Others, well maybe some positional training is in order. We need a TSW farm league! It's not up to the reader to interpret what the writer is saying, this isn't beat-poetry. It's up to the writer - in expository writing - to be clear on what they are saying. Consider it an opportunity for growth.
  5. He was a very good man and a great team player. He just wasn't a good QB and couldn't be counted on as a back up. Since he's now a Raider, maybe he'll pull a Rich Gannon and surprise us all.
  6. I get that. Just been my experience that safety is where CBs who lose a step end up. QBs also tend to avoud shut down CBs.
  7. I would have bet the farm that Goodwin would have finished last year on IR. Finally stays healthy and he's gone.
  8. I'll say. I'm glad I didn't post in this because I would have have been batting roughly zero.
  9. Here we go with versatile again. Maybe we get a player that actually masters a single position? When he gets beat it's cold comfort that he can play safety as well.
  10. Well, been away from the board all day and just read 6 or so pages now. After following this team for 53 years I really had little reaction. I always mutter "it's the Bills", shite happens to us, both deservedly and otherwise. We usually end up looking like the south end of a northbound horse. I have become a fan of the way the younger posters communicate the same feeling I expressed. "Billsy" sums it up nicely. Don't know who coined it but it's spot on and here's another example.
  11. Little guy. We need numbers, fine by me. Hope TT can find him.
  12. Sure, whatever. Wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Thanks OP. So Jimmy, did somebody copy your phonics homework when you were a kid? A lot of bile for a thread on a fan site. Maybe your the type that is still pissed off that they put fluoride in tap water.
  13. Lighten up Francis. I found the OP's post useful
  14. He has tremendous range. We have nobody that can go sideline to sideline as a LB. I would live to have him back and see what real D coaches can do with him.
  15. I'll hold judgement until I see what McD does with the D. If he can get it close to the Schwartz D, we climb that list. We had incompetent coaching on the D for 2 years.
  16. This. Clay was open a plenty. TT just can't get the ball to him unless it's a sideline throw. Why burn pick 10 on weapon our QB can't see or take advantage of due to his limitations as a QB?
  17. I should try it, but my discipline is for shite as soon I see one football related story. Hell a Papa John commercial has me reaching for my phone to check in.
  18. So bigger, slower, less agile and less athletic, but short of that, really almost identical.
  19. So, kinda where you left off? Welcome back. Lot's of new folks here from the shutdown Bills message board. Interesting mix of folk.
  20. Gotta be for depth. The guy is really bad.
  21. Happy for Lorax, but Zach is the LB we should have as priority one. We have nobody that can cover sideline to sideline.
  22. Draft is deep at WR And DBs. We need a competent RT stat!
  23. Don't recall any if those 3 saying it was their goal to change the team's culture. McDermy is.
  24. Been following this team since 1963. I want the playoffs badly, but I have seen this movie many times. I am not going to melt if we miss again. What I want to see is a plan, competent coaching, players who give a shite and a roadmap to winning a championship. I want a team that hates to lose, and I haven't seen that in many, many years. After 50-plus years with this team, I don't need one good season and declare victory. I want to see a steady building and growth to a culture of winning and a championship. I hope I live to see it.
  25. Not a fan. Bad in the box and a step slow in centerfield.
