  1. OK, one last time. No, I am saying clicks drive his bile even more to extreme views to drive more to read his stuff. He's more negative than ever. Now there is an newsroom tool to track in real time and for all to see, every time someone clicks on his story. This is leading many writers to go to more extremes to provoke readers to read them - to agree or to loathe them - doesn't matter, a click's a click. So if you don't like his stuff, don't read it. If enough folks do it, editors and publishers take note. There, I'm done laying it out. If you done agree, whatever.
  2. Well, that's a gift of his I suppose. I get it. I just stopped one day and don't miss it a bit. Maybe an age thing. You just decide life's to short for crap and there's a lot of crap out there!
  3. It's not a complicated issue Weo. If people don't read Sullivan, he either changes his takes or the company takes note of his diminshed readership. You don't like argument, fine. I worked in media for many years and I know clicks are the new normal. So we disagree, and frankly I don't care, The days of paper boys delivering papers and nobody knows what happens after that are long gone.
  4. It doesn't matter good or bad. All they care about is that it's read. The writers with the highest read percentage are the golden boys. To stay on top they like to push the envelope towards the fringes. Short story, if you don't like the crap he writes, don't read him. In big enough numbers, it has impact as it is tracked. To your point, if enough people don't rwad him, click in him, it means he's losing relevance and may try a different angle instead of just bile.
  5. With what? Jones, Mahomes or Watson?
  6. Did they mention Mahomes in those threads? Maybe that could be a new topic.
  7. You're wrong. You're right that papers are subscription based and for the most part, always have been. However in the modern newsroom their are wide-screen monitors with real time data of which stories are being read - at least for the online readers. Editors keep close watch and reporters hope their stories get enough clicks to be ranked near the top that day. If your stories are frequently on the bottom of the list, there are consequences. Clicks matter. Dont click on Jerry Sullivan.
  8. Why do you read that idiot? He writes that crap to cheese you off and to get clicks. It keeps the dolt employed. Juat say no and don't read it.
  9. Let's do Batman vs. Mahomes next.
  10. Need another, one of them is a Cahomes thread.
  11. What this damn board needs is several more Mahomes threads!
  12. And this post should be a merciful end to this thread.
  13. Wow, major over pay for Kiko. He's small and wears down by November. Kiki took Zach's money as well no doubt.
  14. Could also be that his speed put him in a position to possibly make some of those tackles that our other lead foot LB's couldn't even get to.
  15. To the OP's point, I'd take our FA signings over Woods & Gilmore. I may feel differently if quality receivers are putting up big numbers on us weekly but right now, i like what I see.
  16. U disagree. Hogan wouldn't have made a lick of difference to us last year. Offense wasn't our issue.
  17. Seen some for sure. I also have seen people who seem to read racism into everything they see, hear or read. I avoid both of the above.
  18. Hard to remember a worse draft than 2013, as evidenced by our roster
  19. Because the alt-left hates free speech. They just want their views only and will boycott, shout down and ridicule any else. Despite that, deep down they really know that Kaep sucks at QB.
  20. Or screams Maybin. Nothing like a 1st round tweener. Eric Flowers, Maybin - just no. Mostly yes but RT is just in a bad way. I can't take another year of our RT frozen in carbinite against any speed rusher.
  21. Inaccurate, ineffective, inept when the game is on the line and a sideshow wherever he goes. Yup, let's go get us some of that.
  22. The FO has a good track record with RFA tenders and have shown patience and mostly accurate judgment on a players value. I agree they would likely match a reasonable offer for Gillislee.
