  1. I dont think they will play the whole game either.
  2. I like what McDermott said about the starters playing in that, THIS TEAM still needs work this year, which tells me in the future they are more likely to rest starters in a similar scenario. I still would sit them, but if coach feels this will help them win in the playoffs then go for it.
  3. We will have none of that articulate logic around here, jets fans are supposed to be rude and obnoxious
  4. Spags on vacation?
  5. thanks man that is awesome ! had nothing to do with it.
  6. They are a young team but I would sit every starter i could. Not worth the injuries and no different than a bye week, let em sit. except that this game has no importance at all, all that matters now is game one in the Playoffs.
  7. ok Jamal, whatever ever you have to tell yourself.
  8. you could take out the important ones Sean.
  9. Daboll with misdirect, " Oh we are preparing for jets just like any other game" sure you are. You have learned well young Jedi Well the backups should get some reps but i totally get your point.
  10. YES !!! McDermott my man watching game film of our playoff opponents, play vanilla for the pats, jets means nothing, ON TO THE PLAYOFFS !!!
  11. No. All that matters is preparing for the Texans, everything else is a waste of time.
  12. enjoy the game or your wife hates football because you watch 10 games a week
  13. doesnt matter, no one will remember once the Playoffs start, focus needs to be on that. im playing Barkley and if he gets hurt someone is going in the wildcat and run the clock down as fast as possible, no way i put Allen in , not worth the injury risk. the guys that arent starting i wouldn't even give them jets game film and would give them Texans instead.
  14. im starting to really think McDermott used a simple game plan against the Patriots so that the team could get a rest the last week of the season and to focus on the playoffs. We have played in high pressure games since the Ravens and it would be hard the players to be going balls out every week since then. I hope we beat the Jets but bring on the Texans. If im McDermott im already game planing for the Texans and just do some pre-season style game plan for the jets. not me, cant let winning this game get in the way of winning in the Playoffs, they need to act like this is their bye week.
  15. Maybe more will get him a better contract but if im McD im sitting as many starters as possible and see how many running plays we can run in a game.
  16. Sit every starter you can, need as much of bye as we can get. Right know im going struggle to watch other games next week as i just want to get to the Texans. Yes i know we could play the Chiefs but not likely. I just blazed through the Monday night game because i just dont care about the regular season right now. Thats about the only thing, this game is so meaningless that even Jimmy Spags hasn't even shown up.
  17. havent seen him in a long time. who's the old guy here in his 80s that always argues with that crazy jets fan, Jimmy Spags, types in a NYC accent. Anyway maybe he knows.
  18. been getting screwed by the league since the beginning. "There was some controversy over Buffalo's exclusion from the enlarged NFL. Buffalo had experienced more success on the field and at the gate than Baltimore, and was also a larger market at the time (and would not have to share their territory with an established team as Baltimore would with the Washington Redskins). Additionally, the original three-team plan would have left the league with 13 teams, not only an odd number and prime number that made making equal divisions impossible, but also one considered to be bad luck. The move had left Buffalo as the only AAFC market without an NFL team post-merger, and one that had outdrawn the NFL average in fan attendance. With that in mind, Buffalo fans produced more than 15,000 season ticket pledges, raised $175,000 in a stock offering,[4] and filed a separate application to join. When the vote to admit Buffalo was held on January 20, 1950, a majority of league owners (including the three already-admitted AAFC teams) were willing to accept Buffalo. However, league rules required a unanimous vote, but the vote was only 9-4 in favor. The opposition to the Bills' entry was led by Chicago Bears owner George Halas (who had a longstanding animosity toward Buffalo's previous NFL franchise) and Los Angeles Rams owner Dan Reeves. " Guess we can hate the bears and rams now. How cool would it be to have had a team since 1946. Although who knows who would own the team know if Ralph didn't own it??
  19. Never liked him but hope it works out.
  20. wow you are way off, Lawson has been very valuable and its cool to hate Murphy but all i see is a guy around the ball making plays or assisting, hes no sack master but that doesnt mean hes "useless"
  21. Keep what we have and draft some more.
