  1. I would say that Kyle Williams was so underrated that he eventually became slightly overrated. Still a good player, but he had more than his fair share of WTF moments this year.
  2. Russel Wilson is good but seriously overrated by the media, certainly not elite for sure
  3. This, I have watched all the seasons just because I can't really get enough of it. If anything it really makes the team far more relatable and likable and will help increase our following. It has no hinderance on play whatsoever and would serve well to raise our profile a bit.
  4. Seeing how the draft is likely to pan out, and seeing as how I don't think trading up for a non QB is worth it, I have really warmed up to the Ebron idea. His 11.4% drop rate concerns me but when you watch the bills offense and how Manuel distributes the ball, he really liked going to Chandler at T.E. If we had someone more explosive and with better hands at T.E I think it could be the missing piece we need. We don't have one "superstar" at T.E but we have 4 great players there at different specific skill sets (Stevie,Woods,Goodwin,Williams). Adding Ebron to that gives EJ more than enough weapons at his disposal. If Matthews falls I would take him but Ebron would by no means be a bad pick for a teams offense that besides the ? mark at QB is super close.
  5. Thanks Yolo, I still don't think you can really run that in a base however. From where I see it we could use 2 solid depth players at DE and 1-2 at LB. Kind of surprised they didn't address it in FA at all just because it would've been relatively cheap. This draft is really polarizing to me because there are literally dozens of different ways the top 8 picks could go. I just don't love any of the value they would most likely have on board at 9 with regards to defense but unfortunately even though we love to pretend that the defense is good to go, we still need pieces there.
  6. Im really struggling to understand where people are gonna be lining up in the new scheme. Pettine just kind of through people all over the place and besides stopping the run, it worked fairly well. Spikes is great on 1st and 2nd but is a liability in coverage. Wasn't Lawson always a pretty solid 4-3 OLB because of his coverage skills? I don't really get why everyone wants to trade him. Bradham never really improved YOY but he's certainly a solid depth piece. Besides Kiko I think there are basically a bunch of unknowns. DE is also so unbelievably weak depth wise, again I just have no idea what we are going to do with regards to personnel. To me with a 3-4 we have lots of depth and you can really see it but with the 4-3 I just don't unfortunately and its a reason I think we may take a LB or DE earlier than anyone would hope or want.
  7. Am I the only one that sees him as a 1st & 2nd down DE opposite Mario and then you could throw him in the interior on 3rd. He is one of the more versatile lineman to come out in a couple years. Wouldn't be my first choice but also could very well be BPA when we pick.
  8. Please keep us updated with plans and especially if you are doing a group ticket purchase. Me and 3 others are very interested.
  9. I don't know about everyone else here but even though spiller was mediocre at best for the majority of the year he still does things that less than 5 players in the NFL can do on a regular basis. When he is fully healthy, which he will be finally (we hope) and the fact that he is in a contract year, I expect him to have a huge year this year. Hopefully Williams will be half way decent at the LG spot as well.
  10. 1. Johnny Manziel: Cowboys 2. Jadeveon Clowney: Jaguars 3. Blake Bortles: Vikings 4. Khalil Mack: Texans 5. Mike Evans: Buccaneers
  11. I would be fine with that, To me we have 4 locks at wideout right now being: Goodwin, SJ13, Williams, and Woods. I firmly believe Woods will develop into a great 2 and with better QB play would have. Goodwin is a great 4 to stretch the field, and Williams is a great X. With a stud flanker we could have unreal options.
  12. "Marcus Easley, TBD's greatest player that never was"
  13. wow talk about getting screwed, can't wait to see how many byes we have against us.
  14. the fact that this is even a thread is ludicrous. The guy played in 1 game in college, was losing a camp battle, then got kicked off the team because he's a jackass and you want to sign him to an NFL roster?
  15. If Clowney, Mack, Watkins, Evans, Robinson, Matthews, or perhaps Ebron is not on the board at 9, I would be angry with any of the possible picks and would hope for a trade down. Beckman Jr. is intriguing to me but I think he's a mid teen talent level and would consider it a unnecessary reach. This is one of those years where I would have no issue whatsoever trading back and getting 2015 draft picks as well. If we really wanna build L.T thats how you do it.
  16. Ive taken a decent look at QBs, came away pretty impressed by both Garropolo & Mettenberger, Garropolo throws a real nice deep ball and has one of the better releases I have seen. Mettenberger needs work on his footwork but took a huge step forward this season, has an absolute laser for an arm, and time and time again this past season thread balls over the middle that had no business making it there. He's very statuesque in the pocket but he could be a great player.
