    A real question for Stevie fans - I really am trying to like him - why did he wait so long to get this groin injury repaired? Couldn't be done in January? I had a groin tear - there isn't any doubt or different schools of thought about it - it has to get repaired.

    At least Hillis had 1 monster year. Until Stevie stops racking up his 1000 yards in meaningless situations, stops being an attention hound, starts catching balls when they matter, and stops blaming God when things go wrong - I can't consider him a good player.

    I stopped using student athlete with ncaa when another Memphis player derrick rose had the whole sat thing and was rewarded with a huge Nba contract - the entire college sports scene is a joke at division 1 level in bball and challenge I wish they would just pay those guys and stop calling it an education

    24 pts. in that game/ 11 in the home game. I'm excited about the defense too - but out offense might have to score more than 17 to win against Jets.

    Dominate?! The jets with that defense will keep it close. Their corners are till better than our wrs. I see a low scoring game not domination.

    Agreed - Fitzy is just a good company man. I just don't think it usually works to mess with mechanics at this stage - there is such a thing as overcoaching. Look at what they tried to do with Bledsoe with the timer and everything - that didn't even come close to working

    Barnett should be in the Middle - if he plays like last year and the D-line plays even 1/5 as well as they are hyped to then I guess we might be able to get away with a couple of mediocre OLB's and old man McGee can still hold down the corner

    I don't get why Peterson always has to be #1 - I don't think he is - I hear a lot about how he blows assignments on blocking schemes - that's one reason I always loved Freddy - Thurman for me will always be the gold standard for blocking from the shotgun. He might not have remembered where is helmet was but he always seemed to know where the blitz was coming from.

    I would love to go to Cleveland at some point for a game - but can't get that 6-3 game out of my memory - I just can't do it to myself. I was spoiled by all of the great weather and games of last fall!
