  1. There is an ulterior motive to the NFL coming out and saying this. I just can't figure out the angle. I don't doubt a carefully, strategically developed one is there.
  2. This hire makes me feel 2016 is going to be a lost season. It adds to a growing pile of ominous things this team has done since the start of the football year.
  3. I don't think his release from the team had anything to do with football.
  4. He will sit out this year whether he likes it or not. No NFL team is going to touch him, especially with the specter of possible domestic violence. He has that year to clean himself up and get healthy. (e.g. stop being a drunk)
  5. Free agency is the slow burn death of the NFL. On a more local level, has it changed the fortunes of the Bills much?
  6. Since we'll be fully pregnant this year, everyone knows that when you have kids, you don't have any money. I think the Bills will be bargain bin shoppers this year, late in FA for depth. Just don't have any money to spend. Sure, they could get the Gilmore and Glenn situations resolved, but it's a small window.
  7. They needed linebackers last year. Bradham and Brown weren't quick enough to cover. I agree that linebacker is THE priority and in absence of drafting one in the first round, they better find some strong safety talent in later rounds to convert to linebacker.
  8. The Lakers are going nowhere with Byron Scott as coach. Nobody wants to play for him and he's got a weird plan for managing rookie playing time. It'll be interesting to see which team will rise to be the third juggernaut in the West behind GSW and SAS with all the new money coming into the league next year. I don't expect OKC or LAC to stay intact.
  9. Yeah, I instantly said "That's Mason from 24."
  10. Kiefer Sutherland would be an inspired cast addition to TWD.
  11. I find the potential to trade up high for a potentially great defensive player (just not good) - like a Myles Jack.
  12. Good job. I have to say that the "Ralph is cheap", "Rogue!", "The Bills Always Let Good Players Walk" "But Rex Ryan sucks" etc. are hilarious. I always laugh when they pop up in threads. I don't think any other fan base pursues excellence in the use of catchphrases like we do.
  13. No matter your age, you can answer this question. As a football fan, what decade of the NFL did you find it to be at its best? Best could be defined a variety of ways - the decade you found it the most entertaining or the one where you felt most invested.
  14. Imagine a world where the Bills, Jaguars, and Raiders are battling it out for playoff berths! Long live the 90s.
  15. He's an exceptionally intelligent person and football player and that's hard to pass up when paired with his football talents. If I recall, he attended Bloomsburg on an academic scholarship. The football skill was just a nice surprise.
  16. Bloomsburg grad. Saw him play. Go Huskies.
  17. I think this would be a waste of money.
  18. I chose NONE. I think the Bills would be wise to copy what the Cardinals did at the ILB position this year with Deone Bucannon. You need one of your ILBs to quickly cover sideline to sideline and to cover TEs.
  19. I find the lack of food and lack of ammo stories a bit contrived. In the prison story line, the group had both crops and cattle in less space. The group also seems to find weapons with the greatest of ease - everything from rifles to RPGs. You couldn't ask for more access to military grade weapons and caches of ammo considering Virginia is home to countless modern day military bases. If you go back to the first season, how many pieces of equipment did Rick walk and the group walk by on the way to the CDC? It'd be interesting to see the group destroy Negan's base and Negan then occupies Alexandria under a reign of terror with the group on the outside looking in.
  20. No. All hat and no cattle. Ryan's not the guy. Nothing this off-season has changed my mind about that.
  21. They will do these superhero crossovers forever but Hollywood won't dare entertain a Die Hard/Lethal Weapon crossover. This Batman/Superman movie has the same critical flaw that the Marvel series has developed Too many characters. We've got three superheros, possibly five appearing in this one move alone and at least two villains.
  22. Everyone is going to be ok. I think the Bills will find a new productive member of the front four. Mario will have a rebound year next year for another team. In my opinion, this parting of the ways isn't a disaster for either side.
  23. I don't think he will play out his contract. He looked old in the AFC Championship game. Maybe one more season or two and then he will wrap it up and walk right into broadcasting.
  24. Question: Is Curry historically good or is team defense historically terrible?
  25. I have Jets fatigue after we brought over and largely retained the entire Jets coaching staff. Perhaps I have just a general all things Jets exhaustion.
