I just dont care who we play. We will be in every game against whoever we play. Period. I prefer to play the steelers because we just beat them so my memory is fresh. There isnt a team, Chiefs included, that I dont think we have a real good chance at beating.

Now during games im mostly confident and calm (I mean, this is a relative term, I still have highs and lows and swear and jump around). I just have a faith in knowing we got this. During the Cardinals game, a good friend texted me right before our should have been game winning drive "you must be going nuts right now" and I wasnt, I just knew Josh was gonna go win us that game. We are really good. Just start believing it and you will enjoy the ride even more.

exactly. I can think of two occasions where he threw to Motor in the flat and he made a guy miss and got at least 5 yards. Take it Josh.

I think Singletary and Moss are just as good at catching out of the backfield as Yeldon. We just dont do much of it.

Spillane wont be playing. Tomlin slow played it in his presser saying "still being evaluated", but the beat reporters said he "will avoid surgery, but will miss time, expected back this season". He aint playing. Haden is worth watching for. Personally I doubt he clears concussion protocol on a short week, but it has been done. Like you say, two big blows if they are out.

we have him and he goes by the nickname of Motor. This offense doesnt need "a true #1 RB". Motor doesnt have game breaking speed, but as you saw last night on the 4th down play inside the 49ers 5 yard line, he has enough speed to get to the edge and get a quality first. He breaks tackle after tackle, has excellent vision and reliable hands. He is our number 1 back. Learn to love it.

I doubt Tomlin can do much to "amp up the practice" this week as someone suggested in this thread because most of his team probably wont be able to walk normally for a few days. 2 games in 6 days is very difficult on the body. These guys will still be sore when they play us on Sunday. I'm liking how this is trending.

I stopped reading after #1 (not because this is a bad recap for the record, I will go back and read the rest after I post). I get ALL the feels from this team. They truly love each other and I LOVE ROOTING FOR THEM!

good to know. Yea I would be super happy with 3.29 ypa as well. I would love to see our DB playing samuel actually be up at the LOS instead of 10 yards off....I know we run zone, but can't a zone be run where the DBs are actually somewhere near the WR at the start of the play (since most of Samuels targets are coming within 3 yars of the LOS)?

This is a nice and feel good stat, but they also didnt have Mostert running the ball for three of those 4 games, and didnt have Deebo there to draw attention of the defenses. Now they have Mostert (did last game, how many yards per did they have last week?), Deebo AND their big rookie WR. They arent the same offense of the past four weeks. They will be a better rushing offense, but we still should will.

main takeaways from that is; they just got a lot more healthy last week so they scored 23, ran for 115 and allowed 126 rushing yards. Those fumbles gotta come back to the norm too, sounds flukey.

The Niners rushing attack and Deebo Samuel worry me greatly. I think we will need to sell out to stop the run. Deebo isnt a matchup that Tre will just take 1 on 1 because of the way they line him up and move him around - and thats not Tre's usage anyway. As has been said, not a pushover game. Even though they are banged up they are physical and capable and Shanny is a great coach.

lol ok. Except that my side of the argument is based on fact and the other side of the argument is....delusional? They were within a TD in the 4th, and we kept turning it over and yet our defense kept dominating them. Tre then did what the D had been doing all game, and made a play. Then we kicked a field goal to put it back to a two score game. So yea, game was never in double. I mean, maybe in the first quarter when it was 7-7? lol
