  1. jboy - I know how to see whos on haha, and I know the mods do a great job.....
  2. just wanted to add to the clutter of all the SAME posts about Nix's interview this morning and how he wants his franchise QB hoping another post will spring a moderator to action....
  3. nowhere has ANYONE from the bills organization - and no where in that article, other than pure author of article conjecture - does anyone say the bills want Barkley....the author of article is ASSUMING Barkley will be a coveted QB by many teams (including the bills) so if he falls the bills would trade up for him.... terrible "reporting" and terrible "pass along reporting" by Damond
  4. I say this belongs in one of the MANY threads already pertaining to future franchise QBs or even the thread that is titled about Nix being on WGR and making aforementioned comment with that said....right now, probably Geno Smith or Logan Thomas
  5. keep em comin' Fergy To anyone who hasent looked back at OP...hes adding....and they are still pure gold....
  6. you must have gotten played by him several times then (unless you are indeed right now "crayonzing" me)
  7. I wonder, if its not gout, what else it could be...some people ive talked with that have gout say the symptoms sound like gout...but only once out of the three occassions has it been "cant walk on/dont touch it" painful...these other times its just been very sore and hard to walk on but tolerable...
  8. sooooooo funnier than the original post made my day seriously...this thread just won thread of the year because of that
  9. hahahahahhaaha I think I got WAY too much joy out of this....nice post Fergy
  10. anyone ever get Gout? im not sure if thats what the case is or not, but my left big toe, right at the joint, has gotten extremely painful and sensitive to the touch, even hard to walk on, about three times in the past 8 months (including currently) it doesnt look swollen, but it is painful to the touch and hard to walk on, and is ONLY in the base of the big toe/on top of the toe.... I dont believe I have any of the usual or common causes (obesity, diet high in shellfish, high intake of fructose from soda, high blood pressure) so im not sure if it is gout or something else (perhaps an injury like turf toe? but I dont recall any trauma associated with it - I do run, but haven had an "injury" that I can recall...maybe just stress on the toe or fatigue?) any help would be great - and please no "ask a doctor/go to the doctor" responses, If I wanted to do that, id be there and not on TBD lookin for friendly advice
  11. well duh your current QB cant throw the ball downfield, and has even been struggling with 5 yard outs that any JV football QB can make of course you need to draft a "franchise guy"
  12. youths who are outcasts in high school/their parents dont like them or pay enough attention to them
  13. wasent joanie mitchell a singer? There are other coaching candidates that are not on this list that should be: Kyle Shanahan - Redskins OC - excelled in Texans role, doing well designing an offense around RGIII's talents Mike McCoy - Broncos OC - OC there for the past four years, did great in his midseason revamping of Denvers offense to fit Tebow last year, offense can always run the football and now he has experience working with the most intelligent QB to ever play the game (manning, not Tebow) Ray Horton - Cardinals DC - was working with the Steelers before getting the DC gig at Arizona...hes turned them into a solid defensive team despite deficencies at all levels on D...aggressive, when was the last time we had a proactive rather than reactive defense? Guy is apparently very well thought of and respected by players, coaches and management around the league and maybe to a lesser extent, Brad Seely - 49ers ST coach - 25 years in the NFL, 10 under Bill Belichick in New England, so he has learned (how to cheat) from the best in the biz...hard nosed, tough guy (without the unliked "Brashness" of Rex Ryan). Stickler for details and responsibility... if any of those guys could be conned into coming to Buffalo I would be THRILLED
  14. ESPN says pats got a 7th rounder and Talib for a 4th rounder
  15. yea that was a pretty stupid post...at least start the post off with: SPOILER ALERT, and then space down 15 lines and write your little spoiler there
  16. I use my own monopoly piece.....items previously used: condom (wrapped), free drink chip from local bar, a button from my shirt (popped off during game so it was a mid game switch), my wedding ring and a shot glass.....
  17. i second that, nickelback does suck..... if you want good, current rock....see: Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr. and anything that Jack White attaches his name and talents to
  18. isnt that what women (besides my wife) are?
  19. I think hes trying to say monopolies are a bad thing....
  20. well they would be far enough away that we would never have to worry about local blackouts when they dont sell out
  21. I love hot wings, I can do suicide, but feel as though I shouldnt have to eat suicide wings to get some flavor...and by bland I dont mean "not hot enough", I mean not "flavorful enough" - I know that duffs uses an insane amount of butter in their sauce, and have a feeling thats probably one of the missing ingredients (well not misisng, but much less of) to Anchor bar..... Duffs is definately "wing soup" but the sauce is soooo good why not put more in there (plus, you can dip your fries up in there...mmmmmm) mannnn I need Duffs ASAP now
  22. thats a shame about your Duffs experience....I do agree they are served in a bowl filled with sauce, however, ive always found them to be perfectly crispy despite the sauce, and never had a taste of vinegar in them (and I am actually privy to the Duffs sauce and vinegar is indeed in the sauce but in a fractional proportion to the rest of the ingredients....bummer)...a shame indeed...im craving a big ole bowl of them rigth now (depsite it being 10 am) never been to an anchor bar except for the original...thats a shame about their rochester locations too.... like all food/things in life, wings and the establishments that serve them certainly are a preference to people....
  23. dude, obviously you dont spend enough time on here (I know sarcasm is VERY hard to get through the interwebs) but if you were around often you would know gugny is truly just trolling/pulling your chain right now....he doesn't honestly believe Fitz is the problem with the defense, hes just getting a rise out of you (and actually, the rest of us are getting a good ole laugh out of it too)....sorry gugny, but I couldnt stand watching this continue....crayonz would be proud dont worry Fear, it wasent just you.......
  24. to all who say "they dont suck" or "wings are good with more than just franks" - the sauce is BLAND, wings are OFTEN under cooked there and who knows where they get these from because I have never seen/received the type of "retarded" chicken wings regularly that I have from Anchor Bar...it bothers me to think of a child with Downs Syndrome as I eat a chicken wing (and thats what happens in my mind when I get a chicken wing that is not a normal drum or wing) for all the places in Buffalo that have AWESOME wings, I just cant see myself ever wasting time at Anchor Bar (only time I go is when I have out of town guests who INSIST on going there, and even then I HIGHLY discourage) Better wing places: Duffs (by FAR), Elmo's, Gabriels Gate (just the BBQ), Amherst Ale House...all have far superior wings to Anchor Bar....
  25. to all posters so far - I love you guys...keep this good info coming... any buffet brunch places? I read a lot about Brunches but im a fan of picking and choosing what I want (hence the buffet) rather than choosing one dish..however, I am intrigued by Atchafalaya and the hefty heaping of jumbo lump crab meat....
