My case for Michael Floyd
NeverOutNick replied to FavreDolla_Footlong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't it be Floyd > Reiff/Martin...? -
Why Stephen Hill WILL be the pick at number 10.
NeverOutNick replied to mob16151's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can totally see Hill going in the 1st but 10 seems high...i wouldn't mind if we trade down and take him (no Jeffrey please, guy doesn't play with effort and not a good route runner). I believe we take OT 1st rd though -
exactly...especially against the run

The Merriman tweet to VJackson
NeverOutNick replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agreed! or Laurent Robinson/Meachem and then extend Levitre and Byrd -
Levi Brown or Bell. Or waste 1st round pick ?
NeverOutNick replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly what i was going to say...I trust nix in finding our next LT -
[closed]The Bills have 7th most Offseason Money - Update
NeverOutNick replied to Sniper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mario would be great but he and VJ aren't worth the 10+ Mil a year they would cost. Lets extend our players (Byrd, Levitre, Fjax, Urbik) and pick up a decent #2 WR like L. Robinson (who made Flo look like crap last year)...maybe another corner if nix sees one he really likes (carr for instance). I don't want Mincey (one year of decent production) or really any of the available 4-3 DEs (unless Freeney is released or doesn't cost much). Then we go into the draft getting our LT (since it looks like Bell is gone) and a few pass rushers -
Exactly get all 3 done before training camp. Byrd (My favorite Bill) right now is our best player on Defense and Levitre are most versatile OL...They need to be extended ASAP

Realistic Free Agent candidates?
NeverOutNick replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Meachem's speed and big play ability but that guy drops a lot of passes. I would be happy if we got him but happier if we got Laurent Robinson or Garcon -
is Justin Blackmon worth moving up to get?
NeverOutNick replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed...Blackmon would look awesome in a Bills uniform lined up opposite Stevie. He is already a polished route runner with incredible hands and apparently 4.4 speed. I would love to have him if it didn't cost too much to move up but am ok with staying at 10 for an OT or even Ingram/Coples/Floyd (not Upshaw i'd take hightower ahead of him) -
who is your Homer Pick the 2012 draft
NeverOutNick replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My homer pick is a guy we won't have a chance in getting...Justin Blackmon! Guy is going to be a beast for a long time...imagine him on one side and stevie on the other Also would really like Russell Wilson late -
I concur and would love Ingram and would be ok with Coples but please no Upshaw, he is not worth a top 10 and if we were going to take a Bama player I'd rather have Hightower
-
No sh*@ anyone find out how much Chandler got?
-
Andre Branch may not be around at our 2nd round pick but do think he'd be a great pass rusher
-
All Peyton Manning, all the time!
NeverOutNick replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm all for getting Tebow if it doesn't cost too much (3rd at most)...he'd be a good backup to Fitz for now and Gailey and David Lee should be able to use him very creatively -
Agreed! He needs to be top priority to extend after FA (and Levitre)

Your official Draft Board
NeverOutNick replied to auburnbillsbacker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed with top 8 but would put Kuechly (especially if he can play OLB and ILB in a 4-3), Coples (because of potential), Reiff (play multiple positions on the line), and Glenn (same as Reiff) in a class above the others you have listed. Decastro is great but can't play T like Glenn and Reiff can. Lastly I'd be ok with Poe as well because it would suck to miss out on the Ngata again (Kelsay, Williams, Poe, Dareus is a big beast line) -
Its funny because I was thinking the same thing when I was watching him but did Brady have a noodle arm or was it more that he had the body of a 15 year old school girl...Either way if Moore was there in the 5th or later (and we haven't taken a QB earlier like Osweiler or Tannehill) and Wilson wasn't there I would take him yes...
-
Mayock is awesome and most of your comments I agree with but I do not want Moore on our team. Dude has a weaker arm and isn't as athletic as our current QB. If we're getting a developmental QB lets gets someone who is mobile and can throw down field when it gets cold. I don't know much about Lindley but I liked what I saw from him. I also like Wilson late as well. Coples does seem like a beast and we should get him if he's there (doubt he will be). Not sure about any of the WRs...From watching games during the season I know I dont want Jeffrey from SC (takes a lot of plays off). Seems like a decent draft for LTs...I think Adams and Reiff are both possibilities for us. I do like Upshaw but I don't know if he'd be a good fit for a team needing a real pass rusher...He seems better against the run.
-
Big name WR I strongly think we WILL sign
NeverOutNick replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And Meachem drops a lot of passes! Definitely a good fit...I say draft Blackmon or Floyd -
LOVE IT!!!!

What's not to love about Stevie Johnson! He tries hard every play makes most DBs look silly with his routes and has a great personality that makes us fans love him! He's had a few unfortunate instances (2 dropped TDs and a couple big penalties) during his short career but the good clearly outways the bad. He was a 7th round pick, the same year we drafted a WR in the early 2nd round (remember James Hardy) and since the day he started has been our #1 receiver even playing through injury. Love this guy and everyone knows we need to keep in order to have any chance to compete in the near future... Sidenote: picture a WR core with Stevie, Blackmon, Nelson, B. Smith (I also like Aiken and hopefully Easley or Parrish is healthy) and our safety net Chandler. Fitz would have to beast with healthy targets like that and Fjax and Spiller in the backfield (best 1-2 punch in the league and both are awesome at catching the ball) GO BILLS!

1 hour to kick off ... Prediction time
NeverOutNick replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like our chances tomorrow...I see Romo throwing a couple INTs and Fitz/Fjax getting back on track after there worst games of the year. D is playing better now although it would be nice to have Williams and Kelsay...Bills win 31-27 with Nelson scoring 2 TDs and proposing to his Cheerleader GF after the game! -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
NeverOutNick replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Although pass interference penalties clearly favored the Jets we did not play well enough on offense to win this game. Why did we even sign Brad Smith if we're not going to use him on critical 3rd/4th and short situations. 3 times we ran right up the middle in those situations and got stuffed. Brad Smith has shown time and time again that he can pick up that 1 yard...
