  1. Do you think that the teams that have passed on him don’t want flexibility? Something is up, suspect teams aren’t sure what to do with him.
  2. He is huge for sure. I did watch him vs Norte Dame and he was beaten several times in that game - looked a little awkward, but I am no scout.
  3. Yes, hoping the Bills aren’t locked in on corner no matter what - I think there will be better prospects available at other positions.
  4. Which ones do you like? Joseph, Melifonwu and Adebo?
  5. Agreed that need for outside corner is greater, but if they are looking at a middling outside corner prospect vs a good slot corner, which do you take - or do you go to another position? While I think corner ratings are likely vary significantly from team to team, I would rather get a good prospect at another position IF they aren’t sold on any of the corners.
  6. You are almost certainly right that they won’t take another DE, but in spite of having taken A DE already, I would make an exception and double up IF the right guy were available. Hughes and Addison won’t be on the roster much longer and the only young players ate the position are Epenesa and Rousseau (and Daryl Johnson). While I like what I’ve seen from Johnson, he is still a long-shot to be here long-term. Got it. But Justin Jefferson is certainly big enough to play outside. While there are some, there aren’t many outside WRs at 5’9”. I’m not arguing against either Moore, just think a slot corner would not be outlandish in late 2nd.
  7. I am skeptical of Rondale Moore - he is only 5’7” and has missed a ton of time in college due to injuries. He is a dynamic athlete, but is he big enough for the NFL and can he stay healthy?
  8. You have slot only receivers in Elijah and Rondale Moore, but exclude slot-only DBs. I’m not criticizing, but what is your rationale for that?
  9. I think DB is their preference, I don’t know who will be there for them. CBs seem very hard to scout and it seems now they are mainly drafted on athletic traits. I’m sure scheme fit matters a lot. 2nd round every year seems to produce a few “who?” CB picks.
  10. Good chance that none of these players will be available by late 2nd, but Cox and Campbell would be nice there. I’m not against Samuel, but he is small for outside and even late 2nd seems a little rich for a slot/nickel.
  11. If they are convinced that there is someone that is much better than anyone who will make it to 61, I would be on board. Doing that, you would essentially be hanging the whole draft on the first two picks. With many fewer declaring for the draft than normal this year, this draft is (likely) light in prospects and next year’s could be a little richer than usual.
  12. I would not want to give up the 3rd and both 5ths won’t get you far up in the 2nd (or even 3rd). If they want to trade all picks after the 3rd to move up, it could make sense, but again they won’t get you up very far.
  13. Of that list, McNeil, but there will be others considered as well. IF there is a good prospect available, I think they’ll go CB. BUT, I think a lot of CBs will go in this round so there may not be an attractive player there. McNeil appears to be a potential eventual Star replacement with better pass rush potential. I’m not a huge Freiermuth fan, but late in the 2nd I’d strongly consider him. The Bills’ probably won’t, but I would consider doubling up at DE with Perkins or a small handful of others. I also think a WR could be BPA on their board when 61 comes around.
  14. I think player 1 round later next year are likely comparable or better than this year’s crop - at least more known commodities. Add in that many fewer players declared early this year and I’d expect next year’s draft class to be stronger than this year’s. The Bills’ have a very good scouting staff, but the COVID situation this year has largely negated this advantage. I’ll take my chances
  15. This is the opposite of what Beane stated - looking to build sustainable success.
  16. I’m sure that he will work on earning your trust.
  17. I think Cox, Tremble and Meinerz could all be there. Probably a little early for Tremble.
  18. He showed capable of getting pressure inside and I suspect they like the idea of 6’6+ with very long arms disrupting the passing lanes from inside on 3rd downs.
  19. I like it - all the DEs and CBs had some questions- he was an opt out. Big, almost 35” arms, should be able to disrupt passing lanes even when he doesn’t get pressure.
  20. I like it. Big, very long arms, young red-shirt soph.
  21. C’mon Washington, trade up and take Jones before Pats
  22. I think Turner will go be mid 2nd at latest, else I would want to trade up for him in 2nd. Could see why someone could pull the trigger tonight, but it would be a mild surprise. He is so tall with long arms and pretty good power with ability to rush inside and disrupt passing lanes with his long arms and height. Not banging the table for him, but if they want DE take your pick of a lot of players who all have questions or holes.
  23. Very hard to say, but I will guess Tyson Campbell with an outside shot of taking either DE Joe Tryon or Payton Turner. Oweh would be the ultimate gamble on greatness. I’ll take a trade down, but prefer a draft pick instead of Ertz - he was great, but I fear he’s spent.
