Yes, Smith has been a workout fiend since about his second NFL season. Really hard to imagine that he was around 300lbs at DE in an era where 300 lbs was really big. photo of him in prime: https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/04/07/nfl-com-buffalo-bills-bruce-smith/ link to his rookie card photo https://www.football-rookies.com/bruce-smith-10833/ -
Shaq Lawson on trade block (update - traded to Jets)

Unpopular opinion, but I agree. He is a decent NFL DE. He isn’t a dominant pass rusher, but seems to hold up in the run game and can get effort sacks. -

Somebody has to play in the final preseason game while the Bills sit their top 53. -
Gabe Davis, rising star and generally Good Guy

I think 40 time is a gauge, but sometimes doesn’t accurately describe speed. The difference between a decent and great start can be .1-.2seconds. In live play, DBs don’t really start until the WR starts and then the race is down to how fast do you really run instead of who gets out of the blocks faster. Inverse seems to be true for pass rushers where quick start over OL is probably more an advantage than pure speed. Just my $.02 worth… -
That is correct - at this time. Rousseau just turned 21 in April. I would be surprised if he didn't fill out some over the next few seasons. Still, 6'6" 255 is big by any normal standard. Patience will be necessary with Rousseau who really only played one full season of college ball and none at all last year.

Which Bill are you rooting for this year?

Agreed that at $10M he is paid too much, but I think he is a solid NFL DE who plays the run well and can get some effort sacks. -

Shaq Lawson is a pretty good NFL player. He is a good all around DE, but he isn’t a great sack artist - at least that is how I see him.
