Allen and the offense have laid a big dump on the field today.

I was remiss earlier to not mention Dawson Knox. He seems to be growing into a good receiving option for the offense.

Was encouraged by Allen’s play today. Singletary can’t fumble like that or he will be nailed to the bench. Need at least one more good WR - McKenzie should not be #3 behind Brown and Beasley, but he seems to be the best option they have.

Bills are just not really a playoff caliber team. Terrible to be struggling against this team.

It’s a win, but not very impressive against another bad team. Without Singletary, they would have lost.

This team is really not very good. 5-2 is a mirage. They should be destroying this bad team at home, instead it is a real game that they have potential to lose.

I’ll take wins over 300 yard games anytime.

But, they are really good against offenses like the Jets, Giants, Bengals and a little bit the Dolphins. I’m thinking that Washington runs for 150 yards on them if they are smart.

Offensive weapons are for sure a need, but not 2nd and 3rd tier options and beyond that, this team is not prepared to make any significant run in the playoffs. They need another offseason and they certainly can’t afford to skimp on defense as we saw them exposed by a decent offense this week. Don’t get me wrong, the defense is pretty good, but nowhere near a dominant unit that can control games against a good offense - that much was evident based on what the Eagles and a bad Miami offense did to them - rush defense in particular, but the pass rush is nothing special, either. I would only advocate a trade at this point if it was to add a player who can be a contributor for 3+ years. Any trade of assets for a “rental” is a waste of assets as this team is a couple years away from serious contention.

You are right on, here.

This team is not really close to being a threat in the playoffs- if they even get there. Offense is a work-in-progress without enough weapons and a still-learning QB. On defense, I was afraid that they might not be as good as we’ve been believing as they’ve dominated bad opponents. Hopefully, today was an aberration, but if not the rest of the season could be very painful to watch.

Cody Ford was not playing well at T, but losing him hurts.

They miss Harrison Phillips- he was playing well before tearing his knee.

I’m afraid that we are finding out that this defense is waaay overrated. They have feasted on really bad opponents - Bengals, Dolphins, Jets. Could be a long homestretch of the season.
