The Iso: Dion Dawkins (The Players Tribune)
purple haze replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You could have said that in the first place rather than take everybody through circles. The prisoners are citizens and should be treated as such. This also helps the C.O.'s who work at the facilities. Can some prisoners be dispersed to less crowded facilities or can temporary facilities be created that would still be under security provisions, etc? Probably. Will that measure be taken? Who knows. Also, not every prisoner in jail are violent or sexual offenders. There are people in jail for drug offenses; possession or distribution. A lot of them. They could be released. All that said, your conspiracy theories should go off the football discussion board. There is an area for you to spin your tales regarding politics or other things. -

Neither is anyone else nor did Dion Dawkins request such in his interview, so what are you talking about? Make it plain. -

Is that is this the only article the Player's Tribune printed? Why are you so riled about this particular one? Why are you going into a diatribe about the man's intelligence? William Barr just directed federal prisons to send some prisoners home; his directive. Dawkins didn't say anyone should be released. They printed it because he's an athlete, and an athlete that his written for their site before. -
#Quarantine Saturday 1981 Bills hi-lights

Several full games from that era are on youtube or at least they used to be. Look them up. Those teams were very good. -
Taylor. Explosive, powerful and proven production over years in a power 5 conference. Kid is legit. I doubt he's there when the Bills pick.
-
He got beat a couple times in the second half of one game and that cancels out three years of high end play? The answer is no.

He didn't get owned by Hopkins at all. Isn't he the one that caused a fumble on Hopkins in the playoff game? He's faced him twice and held his own both times. Hopkins made a few plays, but he wasn't owning Tre. The game against Green he was his rookie year if I recall. He's done well game in and game out against other great WRs. Not sold? You need to stop. LoL

Post-Free Agency Power Rankings

Tomlin had them in the playoff hunt down to the last week with two different, bad, back-up QB's. Tomlin has yet to finish below .500 as coach of the Steelers. Big Ben is back healthy, JuJu will be back healthy. Pedigree is why they moved up. You know the Steelers at base will be competitive. -
Andre Roberts is #18

Folks talk about Cam not being BB type of player. Lawrence Taylor is an example of an outsized personality and one with personal issues to boot. BB coached him successfully. Why not Cam who has the outsized personality but none of the off field baggage? He dealt with Grimm and his personality. The cap room is an issue, but I think that is the only outwardly legit issue.
-
He coached Lawrence Taylor. Cam Newton is nothing like L.T. off the field. And L.T. had a serious ego too. Most players do, let alone the top players in the game. Belicheck's cup-o-tea is winning. Cam could wind up there.

That logo seems a step down. Looks like a Chargers logo. I hope they don't screw with horns on the helmet. These teams need to stop changing things for the sake of trying to get a money grab. The Rams fans out here were very vocal about not liking this logo when it leaked. Oh, well at least they kept the royal blue/yellow colors many of the fans wanted.

No. I don't think they should play with any more assets from the 2021 draft and to trade into the first round where it would be necessary to get to (14-17) would be prohibitive. Also, who does he play over? Brown? Beasley? If Beane felt that strongly about Ruggs he wouldn't have traded for Diggs. Bills should draft a guy they can develop slowly, but can contribute on Special Teams too: Claypool, Pittman come to mind.

I don't see Burrow as better than Tua if both are healthy. From the outside, the issue with the Bengals taking a deal like this is their operation. Could they maximize those picks? From the inside, do they want to pay three first round picks 4-5 years from now? I don't think they would take the deal for that reason alone.

Yeah, I was giving that five percent after 95% to the players who have pro athleticism, but can't quite play well enough consistently enough. But I can rock with your numbers. I just hate to see the outright disrespect of players. It's hard as hell to even get a tryout to be considered for an invite to rookie camp, OTA, training camp, let alone actually be invited to camp or stick on a practice squad.

It always amazes me how disrespectful and dismissive people are of Ray Ray McLoud or any pro athlete. He might not be as good as others on the NFL level, but he is on the NFL level; that takes a lot of talent and a hell of a lot of hard work and perseverance. The dude who is a "bench warmer" on, or gets cut from, your favorite pro teams would smash you and 95% of players in their sport.

As you say, "so-called". There are legit journalists everywhere, but technology has proliferated a population of online resources who are not trained journalists and are not tied to standard journalistic ethics. Clicks mean more than two or three solid sources. It is what it s.

Rams cut Gurley to Atl 1yr $5M
purple haze replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you watch him play that's not even a question. Nah, he's not. Gordon is good. Gurley is more explosive.
