  1. despite bucking the trend with whitner, and sean taylor, traditionally safety is not a premium top 5 or 10 position. Also, i'm not a proponent of taking a LB that high either, so if bulaga, or okung or davis isnt available, id really try to trade down
  2. I would pass on ed reed if I already had my starting safeties set and had all those holes on both sides of the line.
  3. no, I didn't, this was regarding the #9 pick, of which NO qb is worthy of this year, therefore I took QB out of the running for positions we should draft @ #9 other than SS
  4. no, its not a position of need AND he would not be the best player available. with huge holes at LT,RT,NT,DT/DE, OLB,ILB there is absolutely no good reason he should be picked by buffalo
  5. nobody has seen him in the same system 3 yrs in a row, and how do you know he's slow to understand, all those playbooks he's had to learn couldn't have been easy.
  6. does that really scream serious to you? No one game is not enough to judge a player on, but for the vick suckers, and donovan disciples, & trent troops its clear that after one game we should bury him on the bench or cut him. IDK if the kid can be a viable player or not, but to say without a doubt he cant play after 1 game, behind that line, its borderline retarded. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that before.
  7. you know the whole, "why not give brohm a chance to show what he's got stuff. who knows he might be good" its done and over, we saw him play in one game, and thats enough tape for some people to form an intelligent opinion, oh and he was 3rd string in GB, kiss of death right there, unless you are hasselbeck or brunell, but nevermind those two anomalies. clearly, one game is a reflection of someones total ability, and since that's an undeniable fact, brohm sucks, supposedly.
  8. comin off a season ending injury, the 34 yr old NT would likely only be a temporary solution IF he were to be brought in
  9. didnt expect to hear much, he pretty much has to acknowledge the holes at OT and NT but other than that I wouldnt expect him to reveal anything
  10. its true, campbell has been given the backhanded treatment his entire time in DC. I still think he can be a good player for somebody if he stays in the same system, any system for more than 1 yr
  11. had to learn 7 playbooks in 8 yrs, and had a terrible line, not a good recipe for a quality qb
  12. ah yes, the ole, move the team to a city that has had multiple teams fail there before theory. Awesome idea
  13. i think its totally appropriate, and kinda poetic for Bradford to be a Redskin. They should def pick him, then send us Jason Campbell
  14. I don't think Campbell has been given a fair shake in washington at all, and would jump on a trade, whitner for campbell str8 up, or they can throw in a pick, whichever. 7 difft offenses in 8 yrs is a remarkable amount of information to absorb, bring him to buffalo.
  15. so the #9 pick and lynch to philly for #24, #55, and mcnabb, yeah I'd do that, that would give us 24, 41, 55, 72 , that means we could def get a OT, DT OLB, and ILb or QB of the furture, in the first 3 rds, plus have the vet qb locked up, yeah I'd do that In a heartbeat, RB's are alot easier to replace. Although Id rather trade whitner to philly, and trade lynch to sd for cromartie and a 4th. then end result being 24, 41, 55, 72, mcnabb, cromartie, so for the sake of speculation lets say those picks turn into bruce campbell, brandon spikes, Mt cody and Lefevour, then pick up tackle depth and ilb depth in rds 4-7. that means we get our tackles, and lbs, pres qb, future qb, & a corner to replace mcgee (constantly hurt) Sounds like a winner, but thats alot to happen and it all must go our way. we'll see.
  16. ok, pall, so I forgot the redzone part, thats what I meant in the first place, they were talking about it on NFL radio.
  17. dude, we've had this talk before, I just don't believe in sending good picks to another team for 1 aging player, especially when we dont have all the pieces in place, which we don't. Now a UFA fine, sign somebody to be a cheap stopgap, but no trading of picks, we should be accumulating picks not sending them to other teams.
  18. and What does Lefevour have to do with this, he never did anything to you man
  19. everyone seems to think its a foregone conclusion that philly just wants a 2nd rd pick, how bout a 1st and a 4th, if donovan can play another 3-4 yrs, they will want max value. IMO, if we can get good play out of the Qb's we have, instead of throwing picks away for a vet, while beefing up the other problem areas, esp on defense, we can be a winner, we do needd a franchise QB, but I do not want to give away picks for an aging QB, esp when we need to build the oline first. How good do you think Mcnabb will be behind our line the way it is? I'll tell you he'll look a shade better than trent, but not by far.
  20. this Is what I meant mcnabbs ugly red zone stat here ya go chief, 46% comp in the red zone now THAT is GARBAGE!!!!!
  21. 59% doesn't blow me away man, his accuracy isnt great, like I said
  22. who takes over for mcnabb after 2 yrs? whos to say the wr corp works out, what about our LB situation, all 3 are important questions for even a quick fix scenario, much less sustained success. Mcnabb is not a golden ticket to the playoffs (btw, his accuracy is garbage) what we need is to solidify the lines and beef up the LB corp, a stout defense, strong running game, and just enough from the Qb position will be enough to get into the playoffs, building a franchise qb after all that will provide long term success.
  23. those dogs could never fight back against a taser, or stun gun, or gun/knife rope or whatever weapons that ghetto trash used on them. The people (and I use the term loosely) that were abusing those dogs were not defenseless. All those breeds of dogs are gentle loving animals at birth, its jerkoffs like vick, and people of his ilk that have taken beautiful animals and turned them into attack dogs. Just because they have an instinct doesn't mean its their primary nature. Its all about how they are raised. Also, when dogs do get aggressive like those fighting dogs, its out of necessity, being poked prodded shocked abused and forced to fight for your life, they never had the choice, unless they wouldnt fight, in which case that sick f*ck would torture and kill the dog. BTW a large % of those vick dogs have been successfully rehabilitated and adopted to loving homes. So despite all the terrible and traumatic things that !@#$ put them through, most of those dogs are in a better place now, and thank good for that. F*ck Mike Vick, I'm glad all those agents ripped him off, and I hope he loses all his money and goes broke again. There's a special place in hell for people that abuse animals, and Vick has a reserved seat.
  24. I rather have sustained success not a quick fix
  25. that would be really, really, really.....stupid
