  1. because usually steaks come with salads which is extra work, and also because that server is tipping out to other "utility" employees based on a % of sales, which comes directly out of their tips. Don't be a cheapskate, if you go out to eat tip based on the bill, not # of plates, thats trashy
  2. i'm voting for friday, I never saw d-bo getting his ass whooped by craig coming
  3. wes welker is white he was elusive, color isnt the issue with tebow, its the fact that his skills that made him great in college dont translate to the pros. he has to learn how to be a quarterback and thats a 2-3 yr project
  4. there's a difference in some work out of the shotgun and 90%, bradford played in the spread just like all the other top Qb's in this draft aside from clausen, so if there are questions about the others adjusting to the prostlye, they should be applied equally to bradford, thats all im saying
  5. Ya know, we still haven't seen Bradford do anything, nothing, we see him stand from the shotgun and throw lofting bombs downfield and touch throws with little to no pressure, and when he has been pressured he didn't handle it well (nat'l champ game) or he gets sacked and hurt. He is no doubt a talented player, but he hasn't really dealt with any adverse situations very well. We have no clue where his arm strength is, maybe he doesnt have the arm to throw in Bufalo. To me, bradford is the guy that could be very very good, but he's such a big question mark, IDK if I would be ok with taking bradford. he could be matt ryan or matt leinart and i'm not sure which
  6. Campbell blew the door off the combine, if his proday goes well, and his health checks out, I would not be surprised to see him fly up the board
  7. draft analysis I found this about favorite, seems like hes a positive guy, good locker room player, graduated early from LSU, and does alot of community work, this is a high character player and more of a run stuffer at the nose tackle spot.
  8. At some point, chan and buddy will get their "guy" at Qb, if they cant get him this year, then I dont see them using a pick on somebody else, they'll just work with what we have and get him next year.
  9. we have options at RT, WR, and QB, so those would be the first positions that I think would be stopgapped. Im not convinced we even need wrs, or a RT, bell has so much potential, maybe he wasnt the right fir at left but will fit at right, and typically yr 3 is the make or break yr for WR's so, I think SJ & JH will get every opportunity to shine, and I think chan will find ways to utilize and maximize their talents
  10. Neither, I would take Lefevour in a heartbeat though
  11. I think reeds production, or lack there of, spoke for itself
  12. this is a case where we want to try and trade down in key spots to acquire more picks, and extra 2nd or 3rd, or trading back in the 1st, but not too much, never want to mortgage too far into the future
  13. in a qb driven league, if a HOF QB is available you gotta go for the QB.
  14. 85% recovered from a grade 3 separation, not something to mess around with
  15. Cody blocked 2 FG's against UT, without that, they never get to the Nat'l championship game, also against the real USC (south carolina) he blocked a game winning FG. Thomas looked better in the senior bowl than his entire senior yr at UNC. Cody and williams can rotate, and make a good tandem
  16. I think the whole point, generally, is that the snow aspect is not as bad as advertised, so the whole, cant get a cali qb, or southern qb, is bogus, we haven't taken good qbs lately, edwards was a loser in college and always hurt, losman was a workout warrior and a 1st rd reach. We shouldnt shy away from a player like clausen just because hes from cali (but played in cold weather @ND), there needs to be a better reason
  17. they even said before the throw that it was a practice throw, also, you conveniently omitted mentioning the 2 50 yd passes he dropped in a basket over the shoulder in the same clip.
  18. nfl.com: LeFevour is high-character player and fierce competitor. Was extremely productive at the non-BCS level. Plays with very impressive intelligence and is a good decision maker. Possesses the release quickness you look for at the next level. Has the arm strength necessary to make most NFL throws. Exhibits very good accuracy in the short passing game. Dan LeFevour, Central Michigan (6-3, 230) He has good size, strength and athletic ability. His arm is strong, and he's able to throw with authority on short and longer patterns. LeFevour runs extremely well and his powerful frame makes him difficult to bring down. He does an excellent job of making reads before and after the snap. However, like Bradford, he has worked from the shotgun formation. He must demonstrate to scouts that he's able to work from under center and can see the field and process what he's seeing dropping back as well as he does when standing several yards behind the line. The other big questions about LeFevour concern his mechanics, but that's something he is trying to correct before his pre-draft workouts.
  19. it was a practice throw at a stationary bag, about screen pass length away, thrown about 3/4 speed @ 48 mph
  20. I know, Ive been one of, if not the biggest proponent of drafting Lefevour this entire Season.
  21. does OLB need trump ILB depth? certainly is something to think about
  22. Mr thorner has previously stated that In his opinion, Lefevour has zero arm strength and will be lucky to be drafted. This clip, which he has, possibly unknowingly, taken out of context, proves what he has been saying, or so he thinks. My point is that, since I saw it live, and the conversation surrounding that specific clip, it was not full speed, the conclusion that that was a legitimate test of Lefevours ball speed is inaccurate, I was merely trying to set the record straight.
  23. Direct quote from the overview on pike today: "Showed decent arm strength, but was very inconsistent, longer passes fluttered, overall an inconsistent showing" No the weight gain didnt do anything for me, Bradford coming in at 236 was nice to see, but since he won't be around #9, its a moot point.
