  1. He came out of the game well and it looked like we might have something in Brown because of it.
  2. The left side of their line definitely seemed better than the right side. Any of the sacks/pressures I saw came from a right side blitz, and on some of the runs he had his man pushed nearly to the sidelines. Definitely would like to see him picked up in the 2nd if he makes it there
  3. This cant be real. Newton getting taken over Luck, Locker getting taken in the first round, Failey (sic) and Dareus getting taken ~10th or later and Detroit passing on Amukamara? Pretty sure a random drunk at a bar in Alaska could give you a better mock. EDIT: Also should be noted that players' descriptions have not been updated since before this past season.
  4. Fixed it for you. Not only was he responsible for one of the best teams in football when here in Buffalo, he's done the same damn thing in Indy.
  5. Actually... 5-8-3 is a lot better than the 2-14 that a lot of pundits gave us at the beginning of the year
  6. Is this all with Carolina choosing Luck first? Or has it been adjusted to him not declaring? Is it pretty much set that they're taking the #1 offensive player regardless of position?
  7. Think of that as a screen pass... There are eligible receivers all around the QB, and he "throws an incomplete pass" at one of them, that just happens to be directly into the ground. If he were to drop back and throw it at his RB who is standing right next to him and miss, as long as it was a "forward pass" it would be an incomplete pass.
  8. I refuse to cheer against the bills... but if they lose, then I wont be incredibly disappointed because I know its probably going to be for the better next year. HOWEVER, I also feel that this team still has enough holes that the ~9th best player in this draft, being a position that we need, will still help out about the same as the ~3rd best. This is assuming that we draft properly and get a player we need. When was the last time the Pats* had a top 5 pick that mattered to them.
  9. But (I see everyone has a short memory, but bear with me) What if we win? Why I say this: Jets have clinched playoffs, and they cant win division. Sanchez is already slightly injured, so good chances he and some other starters could be resting. It will truly be a full garbage time game, so we have a good chance a-la Colts game last year.
  10. Bledsoe and Losman (2002-2004 and 2006 respectively) have been the only QB's we've had start all 16 games in a season since Kelly's last season of 16 starts in 1993. Enough of this "QB Competition" BS. Give us a starting quarterback for once.
  11. Here's an idea: How about keeping the same QB for more than a season?
  12. Probably, but it would make more sense to put them in the AFC South and then toss the Colts in the NFC North.
  13. http://www.sportscity.com/NFL/NFL-Single-Season-TD-Passing-Leaders/ and with that he would pass Kelly and have the most TD passes/season of a QB ever with the bills. and also be tied for 17th all time.
  14. Just wait for Moss to be back with the Pats* after this season. Then they'll have gotten draft picks AND resigned one of their top receivers.
  15. we should all vote to send Kelsay and Maybin there.
  16. The switch to a D that is closer to a 4-3 than a 3-4 definitely seemed to help. Edwards at least seemed to see that and was willing to adapt his playbook to fit his players. If they get a few more people that can help out on the rushes and he keeps adapting to their strengths, then I say let him keep the job. He seems to be taking a lesson from Gailey and adapting his plays to his team rather than the other way around.
  17. Hopefully we can also see Naaman help out a bit. He's gonna be playing a bit more it seems with Lee out.
  18. Hmm... Just in time for the Army Navy game.... Show of force anyone? (GO NAVY. BEAT ARMY)
  19. Excellent post. However, I dont see how harrison was trying to hit with his head up. If you compare this hit with the one he had against the Browns which started this whole "leading with the helmet" fining spree, it is the exact same play only without a helmet to helmet. Its a dirty way to hit, and the NFL doesnt want it for either the defender breaking his neck or breaking something on the guy he's hitting. Harrison seems to have a tendency to put his head down and ram himself into someone if he gets the chance. He's not going to stop until he gets suspended.
  20. Best line out of his mouth yesterday, at the very end of the game: "Boy the Bills sure gave Pittsburgh a scare today." yep, I could see them shaking in their shoes.
  21. I dont like the idea of a red third uni... too much like the Pats* throwbacks.
  22. So we can say that he's here to help Maybin get better, and then when he doesn't theres another reason to complain about that pick
