  1. Only issue with him I've seen is he's had a few PI calls because he didn't get his head turned around when he was getting beat, but that's a rookie issue. Definitely will be a good corner, and coming in at the right time. As great as McGee has been here, he's getting old and has been VERY fragile the past few years.
  2. And Ruvell is out despite the career game he had last week? Who do we have as WR anymore?
  3. Have we won any games this year? If yes, then we have a QB that can win. We do not, however, have a team that can sustain winning.
  4. I really like the idea of the stampede rumble going through the stadium right before the kickoff, with the LETS GO BUFF-A-LO! being chanted while the ball is in the air. It would be very cool to see. And getting someone on the PA to work the crowd up more than they naturally are is something that they desperately need.
  5. Definitely an OLB for pass rush that can still be functional in the run. Definitely like Drafttek's current choice of Courtney Upshaw.
  6. He wasn't asking about Favre, he was asking about Sanchez. Yes, we would. It would have been Rob Johnson 2.0 or worse. Plus, we probably wouldn't have drafted him anyways even if he was still there when we picked.
  7. Wow, one page of this thread pretty much contains EVERY SINGLE THREAD that has been posted on this board, arguments and counter arguments, in the past 2 years.
  8. Not to mention there's no one left to catch a long ball consistently
  9. Fred has another year on his contract, and is on the back side of 30. Stevie has been incredibly inconsistent this year and has had a good number of game winning/changing drops, a few injuries, and one week of very bad publicity, and is probably trying to ask for quality #1 WR money because he is the #1 WR on the team, no matter how his stats match up with other #1 WR's in the league. Also saw in this post about the Cam Newton/ J. Russel comparisons. Both QB's were known for their rushing and passing numbers in college, and they both had questionable pasts at some point in time. Thats where the comparisons were, not just because they're black QB's. Have their been any white QB's in recent past that have been top picks and were known for almost even rushing and passing numbers in college other than His Tebowness?
  10. I'm still amazed we haven't had any concerts in there recently. This year would have been the perfect one. Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney are on a stadium tour next year. Buffalo is the one place that people are amazed they didn't book (most likely due to the memories of the horse incident a few years back)
  11. That is probably true. We don't know what a good QB looks like, and just assume that whoever is playing for us is never a good QB, stats be damned.
  12. There's a good chance of 2-1. Miami has no coach and Losman in the backfield. We are most likely going to lose to the Pats, splitting our series with them. Denver is always one 4th quarter drive from losing, and it would be nice to be the team to do that, plus all of our coaches have relatively recent experience playing against the spread option.
  13. Big toss up between the Pats* and Jests, but I had to say Pats. The whole massive loosing streak to them does it. As big of tools as the Jets are, they still aren't a good team. Pats are both good and arrogant, plus far too many bandwagon fans.
  14. That bad holding call was a big one... But it was nice seeing him actually getting used on offense today.
  15. How much have we honored Jim Kelly over the years?
  16. Catching drills would do wonders for SJ... but after his case of 4th quarter dropsies I have a feeling that his new contract won't be quite what he was planning to ask for.
  17. I'm going to say its a tossup between a WR, pass rusher or corner in the first pick, but I'd lean it more towards a pass rushing OLB. We desperately need one of those.
  18. Yay! We're still in this thing, IN DECEMBER!!!! That being said, I'd settle for at least sweeping the Pats.
  19. He had no issue when our receivers still knew how to catch a ball and our line still existed. Now, not so much. Pretty sure the only person who could win behind our current line is Rothleisbeger because he just runs around until he can throw, and that wouldn't even work with the passes that our receivers have dropped in the past few weeks.
  20. A bit angered maybe about the Jets getting to play us after essentially another bye week (thurs night game). This team controls their own destiny right now, I think more than any other team in the league. If some of our guys step up, we've got this. I'm with The Senator. 15-4! GO BILLS!!!!!!!
  21. I have a feeling he may be able to have another week or so before opposing defenses figure him out. Rexxy might wind up shutting him down tonight, and finally expose their weakness (like he did shutting down the Bills' screen passes and pressing receivers). All I can say is their receivers must feel like they're playing in the 1916 GA Tech vs Cumberland game...
  22. Ooo... Shiiiny.... Going to look good with Ponder handing off to Peterson in there.
