  1. I urge only those who with agree with me to vote.
  2. I don't love him either, but what is so horrible about Allen that you'd be just as happy to let the Dems have that seat? Oh yeah, I voted for the Rent is too Damn High party candidate for President because he's the only one who really seems to get it.
  3. Not hardly
  4. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8592362/mario-williams-buffalo-bills-de-had-torn-wrist-ligament-source Who feels like a douche bag now?
  5. This is an intellectually dishonest statement and I think you know it. It's dishonest because it pretends to draw an equivalency between personal financial decisions & federal policy decisions. It's also a false choice because it assumes foreign investment in a global economy and U.S. job creation are mutually exclusive - which is kind of like declaring that you can either have evaporation or rain, but not both.
  6. I'm okay with them doing it in MA. I just wish they'd keep it out of VA.
  7. I'm sure I can think of someone.
  8. The takeaway from this game: Manning > little piece of crap
  9. I didn't follow that closely either. I just remember thinking of them as a pretty good team & wondering why everyone said their coach sucked.
  10. I never quite got the knock on Del Rio. I don't think he was a great HC but he had some pretty good teams in Jax. Better than anything they've had since he left. And he never had a QB.
  11. These piss on Mario threads make me wish I weren't a Bills fan. Being associated with this kind of behavior is more embarrassing to me than the Bills' performance.
  12. I'm not remotely religious and I recognize that what you're saying is ridiculous.
  13. I agree with your overall philosophy here. I'd even be up for a trade up to get Barkley (I know Geno has more upside, but Barkley seems the more conservative pick - higher % of success). My thought is that only 4-5 teams will be looking for a QB that early. Is Tyler Wilson significantly better than whoever out of Murray, Jones, Bray, etc. would still be available in the 2nd?
  14. At this point it looks like this draft has 2 top tier QBs - Barkley and Smith. After that it seems there is a significant drop off with a half dozen or so tier 2 guys with potential (Jones, Murray, Wilson, Bray, etc.) With that as the backdrop: Suppose we're on the clock, Barkley and Smith are off the board, but Manti Te'o is available. Do we reach for a tier 2 guy or take Te'o and draft a QB in the second?
  15. Me too, but I'm pretty sure he's off the board by the time we pick.
  16. Even if we do there's no guarantee they won't leap frog us. I'm just hoping we only have to contend with KC and AZ. The way I predict it, one takes Geno Smith, the other takes Charles Barkley and we're left with our pick of the second tier in the first round.
  17. Eagles and Cardinals might be in the mix also
  18. He should've gone to Jax where he'd have had a good chance to start this season, and where he might be able to succeed. If he took another POS team on a win streak late he'd have a consistent history of being a winner. If they flopped, hey it's a POS team that was losing anyway. As it is now, he may not get another shot.
  19. I qualified the statement. I'm not saying that Gaily should get as much rope as Kubiak did, or that he's made the incremental progress. Just citing an example of a guy that needed the extra years to get it running right.
  20. Gary Kubiak took the reigns in Houston in 2006 and didn't get it done until 2011. Not that' I'm suggesting we give Chan 5 years to get it right, but after 2010 everyone but the owner wanted Kubiak out. I imagine Bills fans would be delighted if we could get him now.
