  2. It's called independent rational thought. You should try it some time.
  3. If, & admittedly it's a big if, the Bills go 4-1 down the stretch & finish 8-8 I'd be alright with another year of Gailey & Fitz. But regardless of how the season ends, they still need to draft a QB early.
  4. Get back here, mother!@#$er. I'll find you.

  6. Some nobody staffer from the Reagan admin with delusions of grandeur. Basically a bitter Curtis Painter trying to pass himself off as Peyton Manning.
  7. Proof's in the pudding, Bub. A couple of Reagan guys rebelling against the Republican establishment means very little. The Krugmanesque artificial demand based economic model is a proven failure & will continue to fail & the people who it purports to help will be the ones who suffer the most. But we'll see. We're running massive deficits now. Let's see what all that artificial demand leads to over the next 4 years.
  8. I'd go for it but the FO only wants boy scouts.
  9. If I were Shaub I'd have pulled this on Suh. http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=%2F#/watch?v=NK1_B8zX87w
  10. I could live with this as long as there's a promising young QB on the roster next year.
  11. Tell him you're getting a large settlement check on 12/22 & you need another $50k to get you through.
  12. Does anyone know the story with Curry? Is it his knee that's the issue or is he just not that good?
  13. Did you stop watching before they broke out the super soakers?
  14. I'm looking forward to the apocalypse. In mid December when my colleagues are cramming for exams I'll be emptying my accounts & maxing out my credit cards to party around the clock with hookers and blow.
  15. To be fair, scientists don't always have much experience with the female reproductive system.
  16. I think this is a cop out. It doesn't explain why I, as "the working man", would benefit from liberal policies as opposed to conservative ones. As to whether I'm viewed as a monkey, I can't worry about that. I'm concerned with what I can do to improve my situation, not whether a politician wants to pat me on my head & tell me I'm special too & pretend that my job is more important than it really is.
  17. That's the biggest problem right there. More than any position upgrade, the mentality needs to change.
  18. What a tool. He takes great credit for things he had little to do with, points out obvious problems w/n Republican circles that you could get perusing the threads here on PPP as though he's insightful, blames everyone else for his failures, & then assumes his friends all baled on him over his politics. They probably dipped out because he's an arrogant douche.
  19. I'm not a fan & don't think Vick is the answer, but I can't help but wonder what kind of offense you could run with Vick & Spiller on the same team.
  20. I doubt CLE or OAK draft QBs in rd1. Weeden's been discussed. Oakland could use an upgrade, and Palmer's starting to get up there but, like CLE, they have a lot more needs, & Palmer is hardly the cause of their problems. If Henne keeps playing like he has Jax may stick with him. He's the reason they've gone from laughing stock to formidable opponent. The Sanchez thing is interesting. He's not been great, but not terrible. And they have Tebow. Not sure about this. Eagles are also a ?. Depends on how Foles does down the stretch. KC & AZ are the only teams that are almost sure to go QB in the first, but keep in mind, someone's probably going to pick up A Smith & is Sanchez is Jettisoned someone might pick him up. Plus, it's likely someone will take BPA & hope to get their QB in the 2nd. Basically, regardless of where we pick there should still be a good prospect available for us.
  21. It's much easier to have someone else confiscate it from those who created it & have them give it to you. I respectfully disagree. TYTT makes more money than I do and I don't begrudge him what he makes & don't feel any implication of hierarchy based on that. That's the beauty of the message board: your arguments stand only on your logic, intellect, and persuasiveness.
  22. As "the working man" I want you to know how much I appreciate the patronizing pity I get from you guys. My only question is, how will the policies of your party benefit me and my fellow working men as we try to find better opportunities to improve our standards of living & better provide for our families?
  23. I guess my point is that I don't accept your right or the government's right to impose your will on me. The fact that 51% of the participating electorate voted to elect a particular candidate doesn't change that. No offense, but personally I think you're all idealistic children (when it comes to politics) who are either unwilling or incapable of recognizing either the seriousness or nature of what we're facing. I expect the semi-literate welfare crowd to think government issued checks will solve problems because they're stupid & uneducated. What bothers me is when people of reasonable capacity are so irresponsible that they're willing to ignore the maxim that if it looks too good to be true it probably is. Think about it in real simple terms. Your political heroes are saying that not only can they provide all reasonable privileges, luxury, & opportunity to everyone by printing money they don't have & distributing it, but doing so will also fix all our economic problems. And you're buying it. Sucker
  24. Yes, 8-8 would be great. It would be nice to see the team finish a season without a losing record. No question.
  25. Those are the two fatal flaws.
