Death, Taxes and Fred Jackson in the backfield
Rob's House replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I knew when he pulled off that big run you were cussing at the TV. That leaping TD must have really pissed you off too. Looks like he's making the team and you'll just have to deal with it. Sucks to be you. -
I agree. I think winning or losing in preseason is meaningless, but it's very encouraging that our offense was able to move the ball at will all day. I still think we as fans are putting far too much emphasis on individual performances. Not to say they don't tell us anything, they just don't tell us half as much as we'd like them to.

A few observations from today: 1. EJ Manuel showed off his arm strength and showed he can do impressive things with a football. 2. TT showed that he's got an NFL arm and can get it done from the pocket. 3. Matt Cassel showed that he's good at playing ball control, reading defenses, and moving the chains. 4. The fans showed they put way too much stock in preseason football.

Wawrow Article Indicates EJ Sees Wall's Writing
Rob's House replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I asked you why you thought it was inappropriate to use the word fanboy and specifically said I wasn't trying to make it personal, and this is your response? WTF? Sounds like you don't have a problem with the word fanboy generally, you just don't like being called one. -
I've been listening to a lot of DC sports talk lately, and it sounds like RG3's done. Let's just say EJ's coverage has been glowing by comparison. A lot of experts are surprisingly high on Cousins. Shanahan said he's got a big future in the NFL.

Wawrow Article Indicates EJ Sees Wall's Writing
Rob's House replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, I intentionally chose my words so as not to be insulting. I've just heard your sentiment stated a few times lately and I'm curious why. I thought the term came out of the video game consol wars. As I understood it a fanboy was someone who took his brand loyalty to an irrational extreme. If someone develops such extreme fan loyalty to a player that he can't rationally discuss the topic then I think fanboy is a perfectly reasonable word to use to refer to that. Why would you say otherwise? -

Why is that? If the shoe fits, why not wear it? -
Dude, seriously, wipe your pu$$y. I pointed out how ridiculous it is is to paint the Ramos thing as racist and made fun of y'all for using the PC crowds techniques including your apotion of a new buzzword and you lose your ****. Then you throw a tantrum, accusing me of being overly emotional throughout said tantrum () which is evidenced by my use of logic and reason and your use of whining and insults. Then, to cap it off, you cry that me calling you Alejandro (as in ALejandro Sharpton, the Hispanic race hustler) is racist, this proving my point. You're a riot.
-
Try to stay on point. I was talking about the Ramos situation. Every time the topic of illegal immigration comes up you come unhinged and start bleeding out your pink taco. Then you ironically start accusing others of hypersensitivity, irrationality, and vaginitis, when all of those things are oozing from your emotionally charged post. But hey, maybe Ramos can be your Sharpton and can politically marginalize the Hispanic vote the way the Sharpton/Jackson crowd has marginalized the black vote so that it stands for and is influenced only by identity politics. That's quite the aspiration. But hey, who cares if you have to be dishonest to advance your cause. Whatever it takes to fight the xenophobes, right?

EJ Will Start Pittsburgh Game
Rob's House replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"EJ lovers" was a direct response to all the whiny fanboys that threw the term "hater" around anytime someone diverted from the EJ ballwashing narrative. -
Regardless of Trump, it's getting a little ridiculous here. It appears there U.S. a sizeable contingency of Latinos who so desperately want to be racial victims. And it appears they're anxious to annoint their own Am Sharpton. Case in point: This little race baiting (*^*&%^$^#Ramos acts like a complete ass, Trump handles him appropriately, and as a result whiny pussies throughout the Latino communities are crying racism. It's utterly pathetic. And calling others "xenophobic" is quickly becoming just another way of calling one's self a blow hard.

ESPN: Is Tannehill better than Luck?
Rob's House replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Luck will probably make a little more money and Tannehill will probably bang out marginally hotter chicks, so I'd say it's a wash. -
I found that amusing because a while back I had a retired owner of a locally well-known establishment lure me over to his office (under the pretense of helping to advance my career) to try to sell me on being a work from home day trader. I don't know the angle (a pyramid scheme, I assume) but I've got a pretty good nose, and I smelled bull ****. Not that I ever for a second considered getting into day trading with this guy anyway, but it's nice to have my suspicions about the viability of his business model confirmed.
