  1. AH HAHAHAHAHA!
  2. May be better? I'm better than Jamarcus. JP may even get some field time with Russell being the competition.
  3. He would certainly help, but the line has finally gotten the penalties under control. I'm not sure bringing in a penalty machine would improve things enough to be worth it.
  4. This is one of the few sensible things that have been said on the topic. TE desperately needs to be a back up for a bit and get some of the pressure taken off of him. He, unfortunately, has been both knocked and coached into uselessness. He needs time to get his head straight, get passion for the game and get de-dicked. The way he's been acting/playing this season helps no one. He starts we lose. Fitz starts....well we probably lose. But seeing as he was responsible for 4 of the 5 wins this season clearly he is the one guy that gives us a chance. As sad as that is, that is what it's come to.
  5. See, this is what people are forgetting. Chumps are coming all over themselves because a guy they've heard of may be available next season. But hey, let's go ahead and assume there is a good reason why Philly barely uses him. Look at his two TDs, runs from a couple yards out. No real pass yards, total of maybe 60--both running and passing--this season. Philly has been practicing with, and looking at, Vick since August and they barely have use for him. Does that not tell you anything? Moving beyond his faults as a human being, which are beyond numerable, he simply is not good enough as a football player to honestly be considered either an answer nor a stopgap. Awesome, you know his name. but there ain't nothing there. Just move on. Maybe there's a semi-famous rapist we can get as a linebacker. Maybe a fullback who was convicted of shoplifting and sodomy. I'm sure there's a far more adequate football playing felon out there.
  6. damn straight. Anyone who gets hard off of the fear from abused animals has no place in Buffalo.
  7. I know, right? What a terrible idea. Our RB situation is arguably the only thing that is working, why even consider messing around and replacing a former/future pro bowler with a washed out dirtbag? Makes no sense
  8. I know, right? Penalties way down, offensive scoring up, allowing fewer points, being competitive for all four quarters...and doing it with a patchwork crew of essentially 2nd-3rd stringers. If the run was stopped (in theory a healthy defense could at least keep it under control) he could have conceivably gone 4-0. I've said it a few times before, but I say Ralph takes that 50 million and hunts down a decent front office. Especially if we beat, or are competitive with, the Pats
  9. That kinda talk is going to enrage the chumps who want the super high draft picks
  10. The entire special teams unit deserves a shout--those guys are ridiculous. If Palmer isn't braining dudes Moorman is getting it within the 5. Monster performance.
  11. You're right, that whole play was a mess. Sidenote: Holy god the Chiefs are terrible--a real football team would have won by 40
  12. Fitz has looked HORRIBLE these last couple games, but at this point it barely matters. The players don't seem to respect Trent and are incapable of winning under him. Keep in mind Trent is only responsible for one win this season, he could just never get it done. I wouldn't mind seeing Brohm take some snaps, but there surely is not enough time this season to know if he is anything. We all know Trent is washed up as a Bill--why bother putting him back in? There is just no point at all. We all know drafting a QB is imperative, might as well keep playing the chumps we know will be on next year's team.
  13. he IS their defense. It's actually kind of shocking to see the difference in the defense when Polamalu is out. Totally night and day
  14. I'm actually a little excite for this game. Playing NE well is kin of a make or break for Perry, Fitz et al. They are really playing for their futures this time. Granted they'll probably lose, but they'll be doing while swinging for the bleachers. Could be entertaining to watch..... ....or, you know, the most depressing thing ever. one or the other.
  15. 100% true--figure st. louis, Cle, and maybe the Bucs (though I can see them sticking with Freeman) looking for first round QBs. leaves a couple good choices for us if our front office is smart enough to figure out who works. Vick is useless, we've been through this on the boards quote a few times. Bad fit and way past his prime; totally not worth the price
  16. I am also incredibly unimpressed by Nelson. For every great play he makes he seems to do at least two stupid things. Fumbling, hopping behind a defender right before a pass--that kind of thing.
  17. B word B word moan moan. You play to win. period.
  18. +1 having a weirdo around makes the world more entertaining
  19. And Brady's model wife had a kid today. he may not be able to fully prepare or his head may not be 100% in the game.
  20. I kind of agree. the games don't really matter anymore so let's check out Brohm, Hardy, et al. Let's play around a little and see if the new guys fit.
  21. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  22. When I was a kid the Amerks (Sabres farm club--if y'all ain't from the Rock) featured a cat named Jody Gage. brilliant hockey player that could have been minor player int he NHL. instead he chose to stay in Rochester and be the big fish on the small team for many years. Sometimes good minor league players are just that. Maybe it would do JP a world of good if he was the second best QB in an upstart league. perhaps being the face of the Locos for the 3-5 years the UFL exists is JP's destiny. As Homer Simpson says: "trying is the first step towards failure"
  23. JP? How stupid are you? Talking behind your computer screen like some big man! I'll kick your ass! This line has been far too calm and rational, I agree we needed more flaming..... That being said, I see what you've been seeing in some of those UFL games. If not for those disastrous seasons we've already had to suffer through, I'd be inclined to agree with you. I felt he and Bollinger deserved big breaks....they made big plays and managed the game well enough. Maybe neither deserves to be a starter, but as a backup? Definitely. But we suffered through the JP years. The slow thinking, the fumbles, the weak decision making. If he can prove himself at an NFL level I'd have no problem with bringing him back...but we paid our dues, we don't owe him that second chance.
  24. That which you cannot statistically quantify
