  1. seriously, if today doesn't shut up the Trent supporters literally nothing will. Fitz was terrific today!
  2. Well the Dolphins running game is going to be hampered by Brown being out and Williams playing hurt. We got murdered last time because of those two running up and down the field. I think if Fitz keeps doing that whole through the ball forward thing we stand a shot. Will probably still lose--but stand a shot
  3. we're only expected to lose by 3....I kinda call that progress
  4. Two words: Mighty Taco.
  5. I posted this on the other Vick thread that's going down, but that's why we have cut and paste, no?: people have been dropping Vick's name simply because he is (presumably) an available QB. Unfortunately being a scumbag has kept him out of the game for years. Look at what Daunte Culpepper was doing in Detroit last year. Once upon a time a 3 time Pro Bowl QB, dude gets older and spends some time off an active roster and he's nothing. So beyond Vick being one of the worst human beings to play this game--and the moral implications of bringing a violent felon into the locker room--you are talking about a guy who hasn't played competitive football in 3 years. Buying washed up former stars hasn't really worked for us in the past, what makes you think Vick would be any different?
  6. I cant see Buffalo wanting him back

You need to stand for something, paying millions of dollars to a guy that tortures animals for fun--we can do better than that
  8. probably laughed hysterically then rolled around in a giant pile of CBS money.
  9. Fancy new stadium means the LA Jags suit up in 2011. Though I suppose the name Jags won't really make any sense. But seriously, they are like a biscuit above a UFL team now. They had to tarp off like half the upper deck yesterday. There's no real incentive to move the Bills when we have teams like that.
  10. yes, 100% with you. I still watch the games every week--I would love to see the Bills win. It's not like there are only 9 good college players entering the draft, where we pick is fairly irrelevant. I'd rather the club become an exciting enough prospect for free agents/respected coaches and players to want to come to. Seriously, what respectable veteran is coming to a team that loses by 30 every week? You get a team that busts their a$$ for a 5-11 record, you get attention beyond Lions-esque pity. Delusional perhaps, but I still think I am right.
  11. Totally agree here. Poz is not great, but he's fine. Hardly the problem but also not making things better. When rebuilding the franchise his replacement should be at the bottom of the list, but still probably on the list.
  12. I agree with so much of this. I've been reading this board for months and today is the first day I got excited enough to bother even developing an opinion about the Bills. We are not great right now, true. however all these posts I've been reading about wanting to blow the whole team up and start over from scratch are totally unhelpful. Today showed there is life in this team, life that can hopefully be developed into something competitive. TO killed it, Poz did well enough, we more or less stopped the run and Fitz had the sand to throw forward. If not for a couple penalties, left over from the terrible coaching of the DJ years, we would have won. There are seeds of something exciting in place here. Now the seeds may not explode into playoff worthy awesome trees (I'm losing the metaphor here) but we are seeing there is a football team here. This year is over, we all know it. However today showed we have the elements of competitive football.
