  1. Juno was pretty meaningless garbage, I'll give you that. But There Will Be Blood is amazing i actually went out and bought a blu ray player just for that film. I watch it (along with the original dawn of the Dead) every couple months just to keep me honest.
  2. Best movies, in no order and without regard to genre (and without me bothering to get up and look at my dvds) Brick The Lookout There Will Be Blood Once Man On The Train Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind I'm Not There Clean the Life Aquatic Fog of War Brand Upon the Brain! Mulholland Drive Inglorious Basterds 24 Hour Party People High Fidelity Old Boy The Baader Meinhof Complex Memories of Murder
  3. I'd seen, and enjoyed, Sin City but the rest of her resume was like direct to video romantic comedies. And one of those sci fi channel movies, which aren't bad enough to be good--if that makes sense.
  4. we hate Poz? I don't hate Poz. Every game he makes huge plays. He is far from amazing, but we had 5 more Poz things would be a bit better
  5. now who is going to star in terrible movies I won't watch? I have a masters in film and had no idea who she was...though I did love King of the Hill.
  6. Oh, and who is also a complete failure on the field and looks incompetent next to a D grade player like Ryan Fitzpatrick
  7. why would a coach play a QB who had no passion for the game or any ability to lead? A player the coaches are unimpressed with, players don't respond to and fans dislike?
  8. I can not imagine any situation that would involve Trent playing next season. Or Fitz for that matter, but Fitz may stay on as #2. Trent wore out his welcome here by simply not giving a frak. Bills fans will put up with a lot, but never indifference.
  9. yeah, right? He gets sacked less, wins more and and throws for more yards. Even though he is terrible, he understands he has to work with the line and make different decisions. A really solid QB would be annoyed by such a porous line, but would still find a way to win. Again, lots of examples out there to defend that thought.
  10. Change the record man, you are just saying the same thing over and over with nothing to back it up. people are throwing stats and logic at you from all directions. O line is just part of it, but the QBs are not NFL quality players. Excusing their play as a symptom of the O line is disregarding all kinds of information out there from other teams that have the same problem. You think these chumps would have winning records with the Broncos, Steelers, or Packers? No, of course not.
  11. I have got to say I really do not understand the argument that Trent (or Fitz) would be some kind of wunderkind if he had another second or two to throw. Watch other football games, count how many seconds it takes for the D Line to get to the QB. Being behind center for the Bills means you need to get the ball out .5-1 second faster than maybe half of the teams out there. Pitt and GB, in particular, are much worse off than the Bills. Smart capable QBs work through it. It honestly boggles my mind how anyone can assign no responsibility to piss poor QB play.
  12. operative word is "might." That literally means nothing
  13. Those stats prove you can not put the blame 100% on the O Line. O line is bad, yes. But other playoff bound, and contending, teams have equally bad O lines. You get a competent QB in there and it does not matter as much. Unfortunately Trent is a loser who can not get anything going and Fitz is terrible at best. Leads us to a 5-11 season. A cat like Ben throws 503 yards with a horrible O line and no run game. Trent threw something like -2 Fitz was 120 or something. A Buffalo QB has not cracked 300 yds in years. It would be nice if they had a couple more seconds, but this is a sign of bad QBs as much as bad O line.
  14. word. It's driving me crazy seeing all these Bills fans falling for some stupid conspiracy. We accept a decade of failure because "it's the refs in love with Brady--it's not our fault!" yeah, every call on the Bills yesterday was 100% deserved. Oh, the Pats got away with a holding call? Maybe those dumbasses shouldn't have been committing penalties right and left--constantly drawing attention to their BS.
  15. I actually majored in film. infinitely more useless than an English degree!
  16. You are 100% right, it is where are. And that is why I am an unemployed english professor You are also right about the weird rage folks had when we got another "no name" player. though I do stand by my belief that making him play this year would not do more than make a bunch of armchair QB declare he sucks and if ralph wilson doesn't trade for eli manning i swear i am done with this team forever! Or something barely coherent about Vick. Moral: practice him and work on developing a book that plays to his strengths instead of tossing him into the failed jauron/trent scheme.
  17. oh no, I'm not being sarcastic. I literally have the spelling ability of a mental patient.
  18. If not for the little red line under all the misspelling my posts would barely come across as being in english.
  19. Where's the Brohm haters? If he is not practicing the Bills playbook and our O line is the disaster it is, what's the point? Work with him, make him a part of the team and throw him in when he is ready. He plays before he has mastered the playbook and we'll see subpar play. THEN the haters come pouring out of the internets.
  20. Harp on! that is an actual concrete thing that is a problem. i can think of two games that had very obvious timeout usage stupidity. here's a question: you think that's a Perry thing or a Fitz thing? I wonder who ultimately needs to be in full control of game management
  21. But then what would we complain about? Did you even think of that?
  22. I stand corrected, moses.
  23. it was because we chased him out of town without giving him a chance! Buffalo heartbreak is a chronic condition that drags down even the greatest player for a minimum of three seasons. Poor little guy even had to spend time in the UFL to get over, what we in the business call, "wetting yourself when a large man runs in your general direction."
  24. I was excited at first, but then gimped Fitz started playing well. I'd make a nancy kerrigan joke now but that would just date me
  25. because we are sad and lonely Bills fans who deeply love/immediately reject anyone or thing that can hold a football in one hand
