A Farewell Tribute to Bledsoe
Surfmeister replied to rocketbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never wanted him on the team. From day one I said it was a bad idea. Bad to the bone. But I got ripped on this board. Now, at his best his past reputation sold tickets. At his worst ... mole for the NE Pats. I wish I knew how to tuen the following into a haiku >> Oh the QB cut his leg and Drew Bledsoe ... -

People would think I would say Doug Flutie, locker room cancer. But I'm going to request the opinion poll be extended to include staff as well. My choice: Carl Mauck What a tool bag ! -
listen to a fireside chat on the Victrola. 232868[/snapback] ... and don't forget those old radios used beautiful tubes. Not these b*llcrap transistors. You may have guessed by now but the good times have passed us by.

Because the ProBowl is a popularity contest with the names chosen based on Joe Six Pack's dated knowledge of the NFL. It's the same reason Junior Seau and Warren Sapp go there too. The ProBowl football walk-thru game is a hard sell to the TV viewers. Real spoorts fans don't even bother watching it, it is so lame. So the TV networks hope if they pile on enough names of has beens and loud mouths the TV commercials for the thing will bring in viewers. P*ss on them, take a long walk with your wife and tell her how much you love her instead. Your household will be a happier place !

Conspiracy theory - fixed game ?

Hey Mac Daddy ~ Answer this question: In your opinion are NFL games ever fixed ? If yes, why not this one? If no, how do you KNOW ? -
Disappointment in Iggleland...
Surfmeister replied to Greg de'Ville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Urgency Schmergency! Is that when the clock is running out and you mount a drive late in the game to secure the go-ahead TD even if you have no time-outs remaining and you've lost one shoe? Oh no, it's not worth doing that. You'll turn into the laughing stock of the team even if your replacements get sacked as much as you do. As for McNabb, Rush Limbaugh wants his ESPN job back! -
Conspiracy theory - fixed game ?

Please pay no attaention to the following link: http://www.moldea.com/Five-3.html It is impossible that people who wear business suits, go to church on Sunday and pay their taxes could be involved in illegal activities. If it were true that would mean we are being made fools. I don't want to be made a fool because I would have to do something about it... and I don't want to do anything. Therefore, nothing is fixed. And especially the Super Bowl. That game generates the most legal and illegal bets of any sporting event in the world. So just by definition it could not be fixed. It is much easier to just ridicule the person to make them and their wacky idea go away. And whatever you do, don't read this link >> http://home.datawest.net/esn-recovery/artcls/disinfo.htm or you may see yourself, or other posters here much too clearly. -
Conspiracy theory - fixed game ?
Surfmeister replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In the old old book "1984" the average citizens police each other and control each other through ridicule. That way those in control have a helping hand in the implementation of their policies. The people themselves. Geez, I'm glad that is just a silly book and it doesn't happen in real life. -
Conspiracy theory - fixed game ?
Surfmeister replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For God's sake, two ex-Presidents were at the game in person. I believe in all my heart that the game was played and officiated just as honestly and truthfully as those two esteemed presidents conducted themselves while in service to our great country. I hope this is the definitive statement that puts an end to all of this loose talk regarding fixing and conspiracies. -
OT - So how did you guys do on your action?
Surfmeister replied to EZC-Boston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a trick that kid has been practicing at home for a month. It's a trick the nuns at his school taught him. Plus those refs were partial to the Eagles during the first half of the game. I was screaming ! Can you tell I'm pissed NE didn't cover the spread? I could bean that NE DB for laying down on the ground in the last 10 seconds when I need him to run that pick back for the 6 points to cover the spread. He's on his way to a vacation in the Bahamas today ... and I'm out fifty bucks. -
Wait a minute! Didn't MC Hammer write "Give it to me baby" and then Rick James covered it?

Glad you asked >> Maryland Crabcakes ! http://www.maryland-crab-cakes-seafood.com/ These things are yummy. -
I agree. I could not agree more. he already told the guy living behind me (and right next door to him) to go to hell and mind his own business. NO WAY am I going to ring that guy's doorbell. That is why I want to try to silence the dog through the ultrasonics. How about I buy the thing and try it and tell you guys if it worked or not? I think the reason the owners are not annoyed that their own dog won't stop barking is because they are not sensitive to the sound of it, each other, their neighbors, the TV or a 50 caliber sniper round spliting their UNIBROW from a quarter mile away. Your support really made me feel better !

Everybody owns their own piece of heaven in this place. Things were perfect for over 6 years and now we have the yapper.

I agree 1000%. I will not take it out on the dog. If it was a cat ... well ... but I like dogs too much to do anything to hurt it. As for people taking responsibility I am SO LUCKY I don't have any problems with the kids in my neighborhood. I have dealt with problem kids in my old neighborhood and the experience dealing with their "parents" was incredible. It is always the same. Their little angel would never do anything wrong. Thank you for your response. It helped !

I really like dogs. It's the owners that get on my nerves. The dog is just frustrated because it is made to spend so much time alone in the yard. I just want it to be quieter when it is hating its doggie life.

I have lived in the same quiet neighborhood for 7 years. Less than a year ago the people living behind me to the left got a dog that won't stop barking. During the day I'm at work, but in the evening or on the weekend it is a distraction when I'm trying to enjoy my backyard patio. They only have one dog. So when the dog is outside it uses all its energy to let the owners know it wants to get back in the house. It doesn't matter if it is hot or cold, wet or dry outside. This dog is a barker. I have hit Google and places sell Ultrasonic bark stoppers. Evidently, when the device "hears" the dog bark, it emits an ultrasonic frequency the dogs hate and it trains them to be quiet. I could install it on my property and point it into the dog's yard and see what happens. Has anyone had success or failure with this kind of device. It sounds too good to be true. By the way, I'm not going to talk to the neighbor's about the problem. I've talked to the folks right behind me that live next door to these folks. They tried to reason with the dog owners and got told to go to hell and mind their own business. Can you imagine that kind of attitude from the dog owners? I don't want to call the cops into it even though the barking goes on after midnight. Let's leave them to catch real criminals. Anyone have a solution that works ??

If there is a thing called karma...
Surfmeister replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've lived too long to know there is no karma. There is no heavenly father above looking after all of us preventing evil. It's a beautiful thought, but it's not the deal. It is only a pacifier for the lower classes. Bush Senior will be in the sky box with owner Kraft again this year. I hate the Pats and their puke inducing fans but the Pats are going to win and clear the spread. The Eagles just won their "super bowl" last Sunday. At the end of the day, life is a free for all. Ask the tsumani victims. It's everyone for themselves and the super rich are above the law. When Rodney Dangerfield asked his father on his death bed what is the meaning of life, the old man Cohn said "It's all bullsh*t". At least give the 7 points, bet the Pats and make yourself some money to buy some t*tties and beer.
