I would say almost the exact same thing >> "Look, when I was your age I loved doing those things too. However I have small kids, we can hear the cursing inside, and we all go to bed by midnight. So I would really appreciate it if you could tone it down. I know you have a right to do whatever you like, but it'd be cool if you could be quieter.” Then buy him a pack of pure heroin and help him OD.

I alternate silvertips and hydra-shocks in my magazines because they look prettier that way -
I once lived next door to an a-hole with a wood chipper he used all the time. One Saturday night he left it too close to our fence. I put steel wool shavings in the gas tank about 2 AM and never heard it roar again. The guy also had a German Shepard that would bark at me when I was in my own back yard. I fixed that dog problem.... kind of. When the owner wasn't looking I would feed the dog Milk Bone Treats through the fence and I didn't even have a dog at the time. It sure made the dog stop barking at me. But when the dog would see me it would come over to the fence and sit in that doggie "I'm being good" posture. When the owner was there I had to pretend I didn't see the dog doing that. I miss that dog.

A Colt 45 is a fine weapon. It also has more take-down power than my 9MM pea shooters. I would have to rely on head shots and hoping the bad guy bled to death where as with a Colt 45 it would be over a lot sooner. -

Allow me to clarify. I do not have a problem with killing animals or people for that matter. I am wearing leather shoes and belt right now. I have killed animals before. And as far as killing people goes if you kill one person you are a murderer. If you kill 100,000 people that's forigen policy. As a Marine you are well aware of that. There are animals and people I could kill today and still sleep well tonight. That is not my problem. I own a Walther P88 and a P5 and I'm proud of them. Not my problem. My problem is when chickens are raised for food they are raised in unsanitary conditions, pumped full of drugs to make them more sellable, bigger, better and the process once they are killed is so full of germs the end product isn't chicken like you and I would raise on our own ranch, but a mess of chemicals, steroids, antibiotics, chicken crap and who knows what else that can make people sick. Sick in the near term and the long run. I just don't like the risk involved when the process if focused on making the most money no matter the quality of the end product. If that's stupid, then I'm stupid. I just don't like to feed myself crap that is disgusting when you know what is in it. And the chicken part isn't the problem. -

Me ... I've got a lot of questions for God. When I die if I am lucky enough to see the Creator the first thing I'm going to ask is why are so many things I love to eat and drink and whatever so bad for me? Every year I have to give up something I love for my health. When I was born I didn't ask to love Jack Daniels so much, it was already programmed in me. And that's just for starters. -
God I hate problems like this. There's no talking to this kid. He has overrun his Mom. He's big enough to run the house and too much of a baby to leave and live on his own. Because he's so young prepare yourself for this kid being an idiot. You need to make it the cop's problem and not your problem. If I were in the situation I would find a way to talk to the Mom ALONE. She must have the mortgage on the place. Explain your situation and the course of action you are going to have to take with the cops involved. That's not going to change anything, but at least you told her. Then I would arrange a sit down with the cops at the police station. After you talk to them in person they will send a cop around to check that house on his regular route WITHOUT you having to call 911. At this point once you set up a continuing relationship between the cops and the kid you'll need to rely on the kid's lack of brains to get him self in hot water with the cops themselves. Once the cops are pissed at him directly it will be your chance to step out of the mix and see who wins. I know you're a Cane fan and I'm a Nole fan but ... you still deserve your peace and quiet as much as anyone so we can both hate the Gators together. Good luck ~

[ot] I watched Canadian Bacon last time

Did you know Moore and Rush Limbaugh have the same agent? They both helped the Bush campaign from different sides of the table. Rush pulls in the faithful, and Moore only allows the discussion to go so far. The Republicans knew the left will have to have some leader of their own. So to make sure he looked stupid they contracted Michael Moore. He acts so stupid, looks so disgusting and is a perfect target for Rush Limbaugh that he was very useful to the Right. As the results of the presidential election show, he made more people vote for Bush. A very useful tool. At the same time Moore's platform stopped well short of touching on the real problems. But after all, he was only doing what he was paid to do. As for the movie ~ I am a big fan of John Candy way back to the SCTV days. But I thought Canadian Bacon wasn't one of his best efforts. -

Fecal Soup is a term specifically created to describe the conditions the chickens are put through on their way to your plate at KFC. Ignorance is bliss. However, once you are informed then the decision is up to you. -

Oh boy .... people will be telling you to put on your tin foil hat soon. Remember there are no conspiracies in the USA. To even imply there could be in an intelligent manner paints a target right on your back. If there was a conspiracy people would tell the newspapers and the news would tell us. -
That's correct. If the drinkin don't kill ya the thinkin will. Don't get stuck thinking about things. Just keep finding something to DO and it will be a lot easier ... and fun!

when i got divorced i had the feeling there was someone right for me out there. So I started looking for her. When the date wsn't the right lady I made sure I didn't keep the wrong ones hanging around. I kept my plate clean. Sometimes the wrong ones didn't want to let go. The five years afetr my divorce I found my present wife and fell in love. That was 19 years ago and we're still in love. Good luck.

I agree 1000%. These parents suck!

I think 911 was right. I'm SICK of lame parents NOT taking resopnsibility for the mess they have made with their own kids. In this case she calls 911 on a 12 year old kid. That mother is pathetic.

Gomez Addams (John Astin) is one of my most favorite people in the whole world. I loved that show as a kid and I still have several videos of the series. I'm not going to drag either one of us down with a Chris Rix debate. Let's agree to see how he does in the draft and talk about it more at the end of the month. In the meantime, with the addition of the new O-Line coach, I am really looking forward to attending the Noles games this year in person. I've been a season ticket holder since we moved to Tally in '96. Take care Puhonix ~ See ya at the Beer Barn ! -
