  1. I have been a fan since 1964. In that time I have invested my emotions for most of the seasons and for the most part gotten trampled. This season I was determined to not get caught up in it and just enjoy the positive parts. Most positive is the money I have made off of the Bills this year. That part was real sweet. Thanks, let's do it again next year. The three Canes we have on the team have added life to the regular bunch of duds and has beens. That part was fun.
  2. Former Cane ~ The Rock Maybe Dwayne could keep those thugs and Gangstas in line.
  3. My wife can't wait for the season opener for the NFL and NCAA football. She loves going to the games in person and watching the rest of them on TV. She also is a member of a football pool she takes seriously and she won it once last year. If you guys don't have this kind of deal in your house ... figure it out soon !
  4. Blanche De Chambly is my favorite in this category. I appreciate being called a snob. It seperates me from the thundering herd.
  5. Sam Cowart Before his injury knocked him off of his game in Buffalo he was the leading tackler week after week. Off the field there was never any bad news about him ... at all.
  6. Can high character win football games in the NFL? That all depends. Ask yourself how much thugery do the refs allow? If you say none, it will help a lot.
  7. The frickin blow hard got himself a radio show in New England and commenced to rip into the Bills and kiss *ss elsewhere. So after how nice we all were to him while he played here ... then he has to go and do us dirty like that. Oh yeah, and he also killed the Jolly Little Baker from Kaufman's Rye Bread with his bare hands.
  8. My second cousin's neighbor's pharmacist's son's bunion specialist knows someone who works for the Jags and they said that Mike Williams plays for them and not the Bucs.
  9. PLEASE don't draft Bunkley. The Bills drafted Sam Cowart from FSU as well. Cowart put up great numbers for the Bills and was never an off field problem. Yet, when Cowart got injured the fans turned their backs on him.
  10. 23: A man meets a gorgeous woman in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end up leaving together. They get back to her place, and as she shows him around her apartment, he notices that her bedroom is completely packed with teddy bears. Hundreds of small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor, medium sized ones on a shelf a little higher and huge bears on the top shelf along the wall. The man is kind of surprised that this woman would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but he decides not to mention this to her. After a night of passion, as they are lying together in the afterglow, the man rolls over and asks, smiling, "Well, how was it?" The woman says, "You can have any prize from the bottom shelf."
  11. Sure. It's always too early to show common sense on this board. Marv Van Winkle and Ralph are out of touch with a sporting man's game. This is a game of youth, power and intensity. These fosils are kidding themselves and us they are up for the task.
  12. Look for lots of nuthin from One Bills Drive and I'd love to be shown I don't know what I'm talking about but I've seen too many lifeless affseasons already.
  13. I'm old enough to remember that time. I saw OJ play at the Rockpile downtown and I also saw him at Rich Stadium. Once at Rich I saw him run for a 90 something yard TD. At the time he was the bright light of optimism for the team. He set rushing records with a losing team. As fans we wondered how great he could have become playing for a better team while all the time being grateful to have him as a part of the Bills. As far as community work I know of none. He was living live in the fast lane in Buffalo New York. That wasn't real fast at the time. What happened to OJ once he got out of football is a shame. He wanted to be a part of the Hollywood crowd. He moved back to LA where he was a local superstar from his days at USC. Then things get difficult. At the present time MOST people only accept the most basic of stories as true. Add a degree of complexity and MOST people call b*llsh*t on it. So the simple accpetable story is OJ kiilled those people himself. Gretzky had a very simple story going until about two weeks ago. Very simple for people to buy. He was a hockey hero a clean living guy with a happy marriage. It's what we wanted to believe. But now that story is much different.
  14. I have no time for fat jokes because ... I’m busier than a busy person. I’m busier than a grave robber at Forrest’s Lawn. I’m busier than a set of jumper cables at a Puerto Rican wedding I’m busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger with hives I’m busier than a podiatrically challenged person of indeterminate gender at a butt-kicking contest. I’m busier than a frog on a log I’m busier than a sea serpent at a boat show I’m busier than a tick laying eggs I’m busier than a beaver in a lake of coffee
  15. Extra ticket revenue too little for Bills to hire top coaches (January 26, 2006) — It is impossible to criticize a slight hike in Buffalo Bills ticket prices for the 2006 season when they are still are the cheapest seats on average in the NFL. Unfortunately, it seems quite likely that owner Ralph Wilson Jr. isn't using any of that added revenue to hire a head coach and coordinators with glowing credentials and hefty salaries. It doesn't help the reputation of the Bills when the team fires head coaches and they land on their feet making more money as offensive (Mike Mularkey) and defensive coodinators (Wade Phillips and Gregg Williams) elsewhere.
  16. That's because they are so used to OWNING the Refs on their home turf. Losers.
  17. I'm confused. Schadenfreude is the German word for Stage Fright. Please explain.
