Life is a gamble. He just went a bit too far. He can stand on a line with both feet and throw the ball flatfooted 70 yards downfield in the air. Even I can't do that. Noles fans think it is hilarious he was drafted and Rix wasn't. Seems like they have a sense of irony in the Saints front Office. Adrian = Saint Chris Rix = Undrafted (Maybe God took the weekend off and didn't hear Chris.)

Here's the video >> Can't sing the Anthem and then slips on the ice The guys behind the bench are trying not to laugh while she is getting hugs after the problem. Here in the south people would say ... ... why Bless Her Heart ~

When I Googled on "fluid hips" there are plenty of adult (x-rated) references to women having fluid hips. It's a VERY good thing. Those references would be best saved for a wife or girlfriend and not wasted on a female coworker. Where would it get you? First HR would confirm you said it and then security would escort you to the parking lot.

FSU's QB Chris Rix Undrafted
Surfmeister replied to Surfmeister's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one said I was stupid. I said I was stupid. The poster said I would be proved wrong because Rix would get drafted. The fact 14 QBs were drafted and he wasn't increases my confidence in NFL scouts. -
“Fluid hips”—Turns hips quickly for smooth change of direction, adjusting to the ball in the air, and more. I'll try to use it in a sentence. The car drove off the cliff without stopping. After the crash mechanics found the car had been drained of all of its brake fluid. Hipster, junkie or priest we all have to keep our fluids topped off.

All too true that. -
What's your take (Bills' 05 draft)?
Surfmeister replied to Greg de'Ville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The two picks from Miami are solid. Even though I'm a Noles fan here in Tallahassee the Canes produce players that are NFL ready. Now did we need to spend our top picks on anything but O-Line when we see NE took an O-Line player with their first pick? That is a good question. -
FSU's QB Chris Rix Undrafted

I still don't know why Coach Bobby stuck by Rix so hard, but it doesn't matter now. It's a new day in Tallahassee. I can't wait for the season to start. -
I'm a Noles fan in Tallahassee and Wake Forest gives us a hell of a hard time when we play them. I respect that team. They are going to be really good this year.

A lot of Noles were drafted over the weekend including Alex Barron. But 4 year starting QB Chris Rix did not get the call. Last week I predicted this would happen and I was told here I was wrong. Me so stupid. Perhaps if Rix were willing to change position to say for instance Holder on Field Goals he would have been picked. I think the OK QB went undrafted as well. NE even selected a QB in the 7th round that had a career total of 20 yards. But not Rix. I think it's great the Bills took two top Canes in the draft. The Canes produce players that are NFL ready. All-in-all it was a fun draft and I'm so GLAD football season in now right around the corner.

I hate cats. I don't respect house cats and the feral ones should be shot.

Curse of the Ralph as heard on 97 Rock
Surfmeister replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I know. I was saying we are 8-1 at The Ralph which could be on top of an Indian graveyard. If we are 8-1 there the curse can't be too bad at all. However, if our only loss at The Ralph was to the Washington Redskins, that may be a sign the curse was working a little. Here ... enjoy this instead http://jclement.ca/fun/Blondestar2004.mp3 -

If our only loss was to the Redskins you'd have your answer. -
Who is the worst Bills beat writer?
Surfmeister replied to RJsackedagain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gaughan was born with a silver spoon. I used to work for his father. He owned the big liquor store at the corner of Main and Transit out by Eastern Hills Mall. We used to have to dress up for the holidays in wacky costumes. Gaughan senior was richer than the Pope. He was a Washington lawyer and he kept the liquor store as a hobby. I learned a whole lot about very expensive wines while I worked the evening shift there. The night manager was a great guy named Ugene Uminski. So the kid got to pick his dream career as a sports writer and his father pulled the strings to get him a lifetime job at the news. And that my dear friends .. is the way the world works. -
What's your favorite football story?
Surfmeister replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When Brad Johnson played QB for the Vikings he once threw a pass near the goal line. It bounced off of the helmet of one of his O-line and back into his hands. When he caught it he ran it in for a TD because the D already committed to the pass play. It was hilarious. I think ti was on MNF. He lives one neighborhood over from me in Moore Pond. -
Congratulations ! Your family is truely blessed.

Do the right thing. Have your parents pick out the house you should buy and have them tell you when to buy it and how much to spend. If you don't, they will be telling you it was a mistake for the rest of their lives. Oh, and one more thing, have them pay for it too or get out of your way. With that said, after renting for so long you are going to LOVE owning your own place. It will be great.

You meant to type Tiger Lions. He's the greatest club thrower in sports. Isn't funny ... it's 2005 and professional golfers get their own on course slave ... i MEAN CADDY ... to carry their clubs. They don't even get to pull them in a hand cart because it will put tracks in the lawn. Men have men caddies Chicks have men OR women caddies (I'm not comfortable with that one) Speaking of equality .. do any PGA members have chick caddies? I think not. Isn't that a lawsuit waiting to happen? BTW, I'm not sexist and I'm not racist. I'm just wondering ...

Fig Leaf ... a family tradition dating back to OUR ancestors. Speaking of Adam and Eve ... they had kids. Then their kids mated with WHO to make more babies and eventualy make us? They didn't mate with their siblings did they? That would be ... uh ... illegal. -
I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from Buff State 1977. But in the last bunch of years I have moved to the dark side and became a PMI certified PMP. I specialize in PMO and contract management and compliance. Mrs Surf is a Systems Architect. We're DINKS and we like it that way. Ever since grade school I'm still living for the weekend.

You got this far you're going to get the job. Be 100% positive. You can do he job. What you don't know on the first day you can learn right away. You would like to be a aprt of their family. Hours? You do whatever it takes to get the job done. When the CEO taps his stack of papers the meeting is over. Good Luck !!

I agree and right now I have those good neighbors on both sides. They do their thing. I do mine. I wave and say hello and it stops there. Some people would think I am bad for being that way but it makes the best of the limited privacy we have on our half acre lots. The neighbor on one side is there by himself. The folks on the other side have three little kids. The kids are angels and as a family they are hardly ever home.
