  3. Here I am 10:48pm Sat night pondering on my throne... all at once everything comes into focus... this is pretty awesome. We have "cakewalked" like a gif I saw in an earlier thread- on offense so far this year. Still we are 3-1... we have played some lower tier teams yes and we haven't put a full game together yet on offense (shout out defense) usually we would be 1-3 or 2-2 right now... losing a game we should have one... PROGRESS! GROWTH! It has happened before our very eyes and we haven't put a full game together yet. That is the next step. It is bound to happen soon when Josh Allen puts a full game together and gets rid of the ball quickly like he did I the second half last week... That to me was the light bulb turning on. I think this point forward we see a lot more of that... He's still going to have some growing pains but I feel like once healthy were going to get a lot more of the good from him than the bad. Here's to the rest of the season and a playoff birth!
  4. Yeah... we got a penalty on thar play and I wasn't supposed to be on the field lol.
  5. So I never played anything other than in the NYS adult league. This was back in '05 I was like 19. It was the same league the Buffalo Gladiators played in... I played for the Lyndonville Tigers... I played kind of a nickel linebacker role... We were playing the CNY Express and they had a guy named Chris Bresnahan... He was on the Patriots at one time... I was the 12th guy on the field and I put a hit on him. That's the closest I ever got to NFL action lol.
  6. Yeah akcash... according to this article: https://www.sporttechie.com/yahoo-sports-fantasy-streaming-nfl-football-app/ Yahoo fantasy football users will be able to watch all local and primetime games for free, and unauthenticated, within the Yahoo Fantasy Football app on smartphones and tablets. Games will continue to also stream on the Yahoo Sports mobile app as part of the five-year, $2 billion deal Verizon and the NFL agreed to in December 2017. Thanks akcash!
  7. I love how it streams the other games that are on Fox and Thurs night NFLN games... not sure if it does CBS. But does anybody know if it streams Bills games too? I live in Buffalo. If anybody knows I'd appreciate it thanks!
  8. Mono: "Oh yeah... Splee-een... Did we lock you in a dumpster one time?" Spleen: "Yeah, I got out..." Mono: "Cool man."
  9. My opinion is it developed into basically what looks like a cheapshot.... but what is this dude supposed to do... Allen has about 25 to 30 pounds on him and is running full speed... that last thing is instincts are telling him is "oh OK shoot... I gotta make this a perfect for tackle." Instinct in a moment like that is to protect yourself number one and number two give him a shot when he's trying to take you out... he can't control the physics of the situation... Allen is bigger and taller... what's he supposed to do just give up and move out of the way? His reaction could have been curbed a little bit but he just lit a dude up that was bigger than him that was putting everything he had into him... of course he's going to be a little pumped up... just my opinion.... when your playing football and you have a shot instinct takes over.
  10. I'm throwing a lot early to open up the running game... on defense I'm playing up on the receivers and sending a lot of corner blitzes from the blind side.
  11. I think Spain has been playing great... however I do agree I'd rather see Feliciano and Ford on the field with Spain playing the spell role... I like Ford at LG and Feliciano at RG.
  12. EDIT: I thought Edelman was out... I think this kind of weakens my argument a little bit... However I'll stick with the same predictions... go Bills! Original: This is my opinion of week 4 Pats vs Bills after watching both Jets-Pats and Bengals-Bills condensed versions. Last week the Pats came out fast on the Jets getting up to 20 to nothing. After that they stalled... I think they punted about 4--5 out of 6 drives in the third-fourth quarters. The left side of their line is a real weak spot which matches up with our strength... Hughes vs Newhouse should be fun to watch. Hughes although he didn't get a sack last week was putting a lot of pressure on Dalton against Andre Smith... Look for NE to have a TE or RB chip a lot on Hughes. I expect Fraiser to have a counter to that whether it be an intermittent db blitz or an LB or DB taking that player out in coverage right away giving them one less receiver. Their Defense is nice. They have a very stout front 7 and 4 veterans in the defensive backfield... I think this game comes down to which offense can overcome the defense. On paper to me our offensive line being younger/stronger/ and more athletic has the potential to do that... I think early in the game they do that with a strategy they deployed in week one (against a stout Jets dline) with throwing alot early and often to open up the run game early in the game... Its just a matter of can our young play makers get open against their secondary... I think they can. They have shown in the first 3 weeks that Beasley and Brown can consistently beat their dbs which gets us into a passing rhythm. If Edelman is out they're going to have some fits against our defense. Josh Gordon will have to turn it up. They are not the same offense that we saw against Miami when they had all of those pieces plus AB. I think Dorsett will get a couple chunk plays against us... I think play action to him is our biggest threat this game. Otherwise I'm not really scared of their receivers. If Edelman plays and is effective then it's a totally different ball game. My scenario predictions: 27-20 Bills... this only happens if we limit mistakes and turnovers... or if we have a few bonehead mistakes and we get a few turnovers. 31-17 Bills if we play a clean game and get turnovers. 24-17 Pats if we shoot ourselves in the foot and don't get turnovers. We are the younger more physically opposing team on offense. We are not as physically imposing on defense but we are more explosive and thats more important. I don't think the Pats are built to sustain success on defense against a successful passing attack. I think their secondary is good but the linebackers imo aren't as talented as ours against the pass. This game is going to come down to crafty experience vs youth and athleticism... Some additional thoughts: -As others have said Oliver is turning it on... He looked much better in his one on ones last week than he did in the preseason... I didn't watch him closely weeks one and two. - Nsekhe isn't play as bad as others say he is. He got burned like 1.5 times last week and got knocked over on a run where it looked like he tripped. Other than that he did his job. I do think that he could be playing better tho.
  13. *highlights* Which I'm not apologetic for bc I think with these 9 minute highlight videos u can get a feel for how the game went. I feel like if we do our jobs we should beat up on the Bengals like San Fran did. They have a shake as heck line. I feel like our secondary matches up well with their receivers. I think our line matches up well with their defensive line. Prediction: 31-10 Bills. Go Bills. And a couple side notes... I just picked up San Frans back up running back Wilson Jr as a bench stasher... I also picked up Debo Samuel. That Wilson Jr. gets a lot of red zone carries and had 2 tds last week... I think he could be a sneaky add that could be a fill in if short on RBs on a bye week... and a good handcuff. San Fran looks darn good too.
  14. I feel like if we put Cody Ford the LG and 76 and 77 on the right... I think that would be our top 5. I feel like they're not doing that bc one they don't want to over complicate things and two our depth shakes out better with Spain in there... I just think nobody would touch Allen and our rbs would have a lot of room to run.
  15. He reminds me a lot of Mike Hart when he was at Michigan... He's like the NFL's version of Mike Hart.
  16. I bet Derek Anderson is still our third string qb (if it got that bad). I think they have him on email.
  17. I totally agree about the run. I feel like hes more than held his own against the double teams and had a slight affect as far as getting in the running backs way or getting push in one on ones... has probably have a few .5 tfls this preseason too.
  18. Being blocked without much push and having no effect on the quarterback. (I was referring to pass rush one on ones).
  19. I gotta admit I was thinking the same thing. He's been handled by about 70 percent of the (pass rush) one on one's he's gone up against. I think he definitely has room to grow but he's got a long way to go. I have been happy with his stoutness in the running game.
  20. I worked at Popeyes for 2 years... never got sick of it really except around thanksgiving.
  21. It was ok... turns out we weren't a love connection but I had fun. Can't wait to get back out there
