  1. Levy wasn't good but even the Bills have had worse GMs if you go past Polian and Butler- Tom D sucked pretty bad, I mean in my history of following the Bills (1968- today) it's like Polian great, Butler good, and a bunch of guys who range from barely competent to totally sucking.
  2. The move to 3-4 hurts good players like Stroud, Schobel and Williams it may help Aaron Maybin who probably fits better as A 3-4 OLB than a 4-3 DE,- I guess I understand if it means the Bills are in a total rebuilding mode cause Stroud and Schobel are too old to be an asset if you are planning 3 years out- Williams probably has value as a pass rushing NT.
  3. Campbell has been able to stay on the field which makes him better than Edwards.
  4. Did I say just- he must have been on a intensive exercise, diet, supplement regiment at the very least- was there chemical enhancement? you know innocent until proven guilty - and it might have been 8 or 10 weeks, whatever, a relatively short time in any case.
  5. Jason Campbell has played 2, 16 game complete seasons which immediately puts him ahead of Edwards, has never thrown more INTs than TDs which puts him ahead of Fitz- and has exactly double Brohm's qb rating 86.4 vs 43.2, so unless you know about a franchise QB that Buffalo has stashed away you'd be a moron not to trade Whitner and a low level draft pick for him.
  6. he gained 20 lbs in like 6 weeks so why would it be a surprise that he could lose 20-30lbs in 20 weeks
  7. No offense to Sam Bradford but every highlight I see of him he had no DL closer than 5 yards and his WRs are open by 5-10 yards- that's not his fault but in the NFL he's going to have to make plays running for his life, with 6,5 300lbs DEs and DTs in his face and CBs covering his WRs like a blanket- maybe he can do that- but I'm not anointing him yet.
  8. + physical tools, improved every year, durable, young - seems to lack certain intangibles, leadership? , held onto the ball too long get him- as a FA, for a player we don't want anyway (Parrish, Whitner), 5th or lower if it cost more then pass.
  9. 4 pretty good NTs Casey, Wilford, Pickett, Aubrayo DE Seymore maybe Green OLB Peppers, Dansby TE Watson If we got Seymore, one of the NTs, and Watson I'd consider it a very good FA
  10. Jason Campbell has the physical tools and he has improved every year- but he doesn't seem to be much of a leader, he seems to lack the spark, still better than anything on our roster and better than any QB we could draft this year at least for the next couple seasons- some of the people on this board crack me up, they are like a bum with a dime in his pocket who refuses to pick up a dollar on the ground cause he's are waiting for a ten to blow by.
  11. LT (1st Round Pick...either Okung, Bulaga, Davis, Williams or Campbell) compete against Bell LG Andy Levitre C Geoff Hangartner (until Wood is healthy enough to comeback) G Richie Incognito RT 2-3 round pick compete against Meredith and Scott
  12. Lynch to SD, Cromartie to Arizona, Bolden to Buffalo
  13. Lynch is a good RB and good RBs are worth nada only great RBs are worth anything- I liked the guy in college but the ability to make things happen in the passing game don't appear to be there at the pro level- That being said, what I'd like the Bills to do is to trade down from the 9 spot to the late teens and then use acquired picks to get back into the bottom of the first round, the players I'd target are Iupati G/RTand Charles Brown LT
  14. All this for Aaron Maybin- who says Wilson has no influence in the NFL.
  15. When they were anointing Trent Edwards and damning J.P. I said that Trent was every bit as flawed just in a totally different way.
  16. To be fair "making honest observations" disqualifies you as a conservative or at least what we call conservative today.
  17. baseball has lovable losers- football has losers
  18. right now I'd rate the OTs like this tier 1. Okung (consensus #1) tier 2. Bulaga (most ready to start, less upside?), Davis (best run blocker, weight problems?), Campbell (most athletic, least experienced) tier 3. Charles Brown (moving up), Trent Williams( formally in tier 2, then downgrade but now seems to be moving up again), Iupati (if rated as a OT) tier 4. Vladimir Ducasse (formerly a 2nd-3rd rounder now an end of 1st middle of 2nd guy) OTs of interest - Jared Veldheer 6,8 325 425lbs power clean 4.9 40 small school low level competition. Ciron Black- formerly rated as a top 25 player now downgraded to 3rd -4th round due to athletic concerns made 53 starts at OLT for LSU (just as I'm skeptical of a guy shooting up the boards I wonder about the guy who suddenly falls - football people seem to have a heard mentality)
  19. Let me take away Ducasse cause I think he goes 2nd-3rd round and add Charles Brown late 1st- as for me I'd get an OT with my first pick (Bulaga, Campbell, Davis) and maybe try to move up into the bottom of the 1st and grab (Iupati, Williams, Brown) so anyone who hates Olinemen early would hate me as GM LOL.
  20. Even behind a good Oline QBs take a lot of punishment and have to be durable- I won't mind Trent as a backup he's a smart guy with adequate skills who could come in a manage a couple games.
  21. if you are talking about WR/RB then Vick- if you are talking about TE/FB then Tebow- if you are talking about QB then neither.
  22. That made me chuckle
  23. is that pre-concussion Trent or post-concussion Trent
  24. Thanks, of course who knows but Sean Nelson does remind me of Vincent Jackson from SD a little.
  25. The literacy rate is around 5% which is why I have education down as the first thing they need after survival aid.
