I Know PPP is Largely Conservative Now
....lybob replied to Gene Frenkle's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well that would be weird since he's suppose to be dead, either 9/11/2001 or April 2002 depending on who you believe but it certainly would be exciting. -
Is W now vindicated?

Or the decision could have been not go now and use that money to build nuclear power plants, develop coal to liquid fuels technology/capability, and basic energy Independence and then if the middle east went into a downward spiral stay the F@<K out of that too. -
Which Bills 1st round draft pick had you jumping for JOY?
....lybob replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last player I was jumping for joy for was (and this is sad) Bruce Smith, last player I was mildly happy with was Lynch (I thought he was going to be a much better weapon in the passing game oops). Last player I said WTF was Spiller. -

Gene I have to disagree with you I don't see any conservatives on this board- a couple guys with their heads up Ayn Rand's vag, some apologists for corporate criminals, and a few racist warmongering neo-con chicken-hawks with delusions of grandeur but conservatives? I don't think so. -
I think if you are old enough to smoke at 18 then you're old enough to deal with military recruiters on campus- of course cigarettes come with warnings so maybe there can be a large sign over the recruiters head - "warning the Surgeon General has determined the smiling men beneath this sign are not to be trusted, they lie with impunity and their contracts are worthless.

Drafts made from GBN's top 150 final ranking
....lybob replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It may sound crazy but I vote Paea to our team as an ILB Trade down with Cleveland 1. Robert Quinn OLB 2a Martez Wilson ILB 2b Stephan Paea ILB You'd have to question their ability in coverage but with Merriman and Quinn both playing at around 265-270 Wilson 250 and Paea playing at 275-280 we probably wouldn't get pushed around as much in the run game. -

Yes W has played a role in spreading democracy revolution but not the way you think, you can give him proportionate credit for these revolutions as you give him credit for our debt because it's the exportation of inflation that is one of the main motivators of these revolutions. I also note that both Tunisia and Egypt were poster boys for neo-liberal economics. -
Effective intelligence in an agent is a benefit to you if they are working for your interest, it is a determent to you if they are working against your interest.

a decent TE Kevin Boss or Zack Miller, maybe Cullen Jenkins and Paul Soliai

It's a decent article TPS the trouble is the situation can not really be explained well either in 30 second sound bites or a six page article. William Black, Catherine Austin Fitts, Jane D'Arista, John Perkins, Joe Nocera + Bethany Mclean, and Thomas E Woods JR all do a pretty good job with parts of the mess but there is nothing that is comprehensive- it would probably have to be a 12hour mini-series along with a vocabulary guide to even give you an overview.

OK I like the Idea of the trade down but I'm going to be a little more conservative than you Trade with Cleveland getting Cleveland's first and second 1. Robert Quinn OLB - I'm a fan of Marcell Dareus and think he might be there too but OLBs are the stars of todays 3-4 defense and with Moats, Merriman, and Quinn we have both a high ceiling and a high cellar. 2a Martez Wilson ILB - I want to keep POZ but you want to get more size and athleticism in the middle and Wilson has that. Wilson is also pretty versatile and probable could play all four LB position. 2b Allen Bailey DE - would take Heyward before Bailey but think he's gone before this pick, Taylor, Paea, and Ballard would also be considered. 3. Ras-I Dowling CB- I don't think the Bills CB situation is as rosy as I thought last year they could really use a little more size and youth. 4a Jerrell Powe NT- 6,2 340 a for sure two gap NT 4b Colin Kaepernick QB- replaces Brian Brohm- has some physical ability but will need a couple years. 5. John Clay RB- 6,1 250 - I'm not loving the Bills RB situation Fred Jackson is almost 30 and Spiller shows me nothing that suggests he's an every down RB, Clay is a power back and that's about it but with him handling short yardage and spiller everything else you might get by for a while if Fred goes down. 6. Schuylar Oordt TE- very athletic Small school player 6,7 246 really needs to get bigger and stronger but has frame to do so. 7. Mario Harvey ILB- short but thick 6,0 250 decent speed poor mans London Fletcher

You seem obsessively worried about your head rolling down stairs which is weird because it's not something of any value.

You are a victim of agnotology.

from wiki The U.S. government issued notes of regret for the loss of innocent human life. The government never admitted wrongdoing, and did not accept responsibility nor submit an apology to the Iranian government.[7] In February 1996 the United States agreed to pay Iran US$131.8 million in settlement to discontinue a case brought by Iran in 1989 against the U.S. in the International Court of Justice relating to this incident,[26] together with other earlier claims before the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal.[6] US$61.8 million of the claim was in compensation for the 248 Iranians killed in the shootdown ($300,000 per wage-earning victim, $150,000 per non-wage-earner). It was not disclosed how the remaining $70 million of the settlement was apportioned. Further compensation was paid for the 38 non-Iranian deaths. The payment of compensation was explicitly characterized by the US as being on an ex gratia basis, and the U.S. denied having any responsibility or liability for what happened. and so Tom do you have the definitive number of Iraqis Killed I've seen estimates of 115,000 to a million plus - I thought the Lancet studies were pretty good- so unless you have links to a better less bias study I'll stick with that.

Yep a lot of bad Muslims out there but lets look at the American Christian record Just the highlights: Waged a genocidal campaign against the indigenous population and broke almost every treaty made with them. Enslaved millions of Africans (and probably killed an equal number in the transatlantic voyage) and their descendants and suppressed them for about a hundred years after giving them their freedom. Killed close to a million Filipinos. overthrew governments in South America for the benefit of American corporations Threw Japanese Americans into internment camps- and almost systematically stole their property while they were interned. infected 700 unknowing Guatemalans with syphilis for std research overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran and installed the Shaw School of the Americas encouraged and supported Iraqi war of aggression against Iran including chemical weapons shot down Iranian airliner in Iranian air space killing 290, never apologized killed 600,000 Iraqis and displaced 2 million more,

Cam Newton's draft status is going to be dependent on interviews, background investigation, and wonderlic - If he earns the title coachable (reasonably intelligent, good work ethic, good charactor) then he is going to go very high because all the physical tools are there. btw I don't think comparisons to Vick or Russell are that close, I think Daunte Culpepper or Ben Roethlisberger are better comparisons.

I really think our draft falls this way...

Well this doesn't bode well for a deal

If the owners force a lock out and the players union is decertified can the players break their contracts and play for another league?- I know it's unrealistic but nothing would be funnier to me than if another USFL attempt was made during this time of greed. -
With the other possibility being that it's budget cut time and people need to know that there is all kinds of dangerous stuff flooding into the country- without anyone saying that directly of course, just hints and foreboding and I wouldn't touch that security budget if I were you.

He said weapons of mass effect not weapons of mass destruction - a weapon of mass effect could be a relatively small conventional explosive with some medical radiologic wastes or an emp weapon, or any type of biological weapon with intention of being a more psychological attack rather than a attack that does large amounts of physical damage.
