  1. I think he will be expensive and more suited to 4-3 How about Stewart Bradley or Kevin Brunnett
  2. I don't know if Stroud has anything left but I know if he does it's at 4-3 DT not 3-4 DE
  3. Maybe we'll go out and get Carl Nicks and when we Play the Pats we'll take out Levitre and put in Jasper- you want Monsters we'll show you Monsters- btw if you want to talk big Leonard Davis and Langston Walker are out there too.
  4. Are the Pats switching to a 4-3? or is He playing a 3-4 DE, I ask because he wasn't that good as a NT and I thought it was a big reason for his discontentment .
  5. I've watched Pittsburgh's OL run over people but I've never focused on a particular player but I too am a google warrior and what I've read is he's been a dominate run blocker from the beginning but his pass blocking didn't get there until 2009- as for his injury he'll be more than year away from it by the time the season starts- and he said he could have played in October but football players always say they can play even when they are walking with a limp.
  6. Bonus is prorated and salary counts the year of say you signed someone to a 5 year contract with a 10 million Bonus and salary as followed year one 10 million, year two 1 million, year three 1.5 million year four 1.5 million, year five 17 million the cap hit for each year 1. 12 million, 2. 3 million, 3. 3.5 million 4. 3.5 million 5. 19 million there is a relationship between the bonus and the total value of the contract but I'm not sure what it is- it might be that the bonus can't be more than a third the total value of the contract but teams get around it by giving huge amounts at the end of the contract that everyone knows is never getting paid, so that 6 year 80 million contract is really more like a four year 40 million contract
  7. we'll make up for lack of spending on the QBs by Paying Kelsay even more- he might be taking over for POZ at MLB, he has to be better there then at OLB doesn't he.
  8. The thing I didn't understand about moving to the 3-4 is the idea that you couldn't get bigger in a 4-3, there are plenty of ways to play 4-3 instead of the Tampa Two smaller and faster model (the Bills seemed to emphasize the smaller part over the faster part).
  9. I'll say this, adding Tyler Thigpen makes Fitz seem a lot more exciting.
  10. Stewart Bradley ILB from Philly Manny Lawson OLB then move Moats back to the inside
  11. they hire Ralph Wilson as the 4th string QB and pay him a huge salary
  12. No splashing allowed in the baby pool
  13. Jasper Will be the MLB that POZ could only dream of being
  14. I'm seriously more hurt about not getting Mario Harvey than losing POZ
  15. Yes in Bizzaro world where you live the left all took pledges that they have to refuse even a penny in spending cuts and the right offered trillions of revenue increases but it wasn't enough for those left wing extremists and they said no "every cent of the deficit has to be paid for by a revenue increase for us to vote a debt ceiling raise so as not to kill the economy".
  16. Sure you can have a negative view but I look at it as a brilliant strategy to fight illegal immigration and for that matter legal immigration too.
  17. Reminds of when the place I worked said they were going to be reorganizing and I thought how can they be reorganizing when they've never been organized in the first place.
  18. If I was the Bills I'd take that POZ money add it to the Florence money and make an offer to Johnathan Joseph but I guess that would be kinda splashy.
  19. I'm not surprised he went to a 4-3 team - POZ is not a great fit for a 3-4 team in the first place if you add a non-traditional NT who penetrates instead of tying up multiple blockers it's even worse- POZ is simply not built to take on 310lb guards and centers shooting out at him all the time.
  20. Maybe it's true but I'd like to see the numbers run sans giving to your own place of worship and sans giving to televangelists - neither of which I consider charitable.
  21. It's voluntary if you are a non-believer, if you are a believer the stakes are Heaven and eternal torment.
  22. If there was a new station worth watching their lead story would be " DCTom starts topic" not something about Obama.
  23. Illegal immigrants pay social security payroll taxes but are not eligible for benefits. During 2006, Standard & Poor's analysts wrote: "Each year, for example, the U.S. Social Security Administration maintains roughly $6 billion to $7 billion of Social Security contributions in an "earnings suspense file" -- an account for W-2 tax forms that cannot be matched to the correct Social Security number. The vast majority of these numbers are attributable to undocumented workers who will never claim their benefits.
  24. Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
  25. Increased Hispanic birthrates help Social security not hurt it, more workers paying in.
