BTW are we sure Breitbart is dead and it's not just James O'Keefe editing video to make seem like he's dead.

Man the Islamic world must really confuse US planners, You bomb wedding parties, torture in black sites, desecrate the dead, kill families, rape children, take body parts for souvenirs and hardly a peep from the locals but burn a few pages 7th century overwrought poetry and everyone loses their ****.

I don't mind another get RG3 post but trade a #1 and #2 ? more like #1+ #2 2012, + Spiller + #1 and #2 2013

I've learned a lot from this thread 1. Breitbart has died 2. RK is cloudy on self depreciating jokes 3. ditto jokes in general 4. also what facts are 5. RK back peddles better than he forward peddles.

Should we be focusing on the Bengals trade?

The points do not work out perfectly for 10 for 17/21,- the points are pretty close for 10 for 17/49 or 10/42 for 17/21 I like 10/42 for 17/21 but that is mainly because after tier 1. Luck, RG3, Kalil, and tier 2 Blackmon, Reiff, Claiborne, Richardson, I got about 22 guys in no particular order of which (4DEs 4DTs, 2OTs 2OGs 1CB 2WRs 1OLB) 16 are of interest to me. -
I didn't really watch him this year but I'm really surprised at how poorly he did in the 40 and jumping- undisciplined I believed but I swear two years ago he looked fast and explosive, oh well another cautionary tale about a player who going in the forth round instead of the first.

Rick Santorum: Either dumb or fanatical
....lybob replied to John Adams's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Wait until Romney has the Mormons baptize Saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, then it will be so on. -
Perry really helped himself buy putting on 20lbs from his listed weight and by still being that fast and explosive, plus 35 reps on the bench ain't shabby- of all the guys who improved their position (Branch, Ingram, Mercilus, Cox, Poe) I think Perry improved the most.

The one trade back I wondered about is swapping 10 to Cincinnati for 17 and their second round pick - the player they'd move up to get is Trent Richardson.

Dan Rather must be at Huffington Post
....lybob replied to DaveinElma's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I wonder if that will be more or less popular than your current tip of a coupon that gives the bearer two dollars off the admission to the National Civil War Museum. -

Bills won't rule out using franchise tag on Stevie
....lybob replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nothing wrong with using the franchise tag on a guy you are unsure of- better paying a couple million more for one year to find out for sure than to commit to a huge signing bonus and get burned. -
Buddy doesn't like Top DEs Mock
....lybob replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm with Buddy on this one you can't draft guys with second or third round talent in the first round just because they fit a need- the value to me around pick 10 looks to be at DT and OT, some might hate picking a DT or OT because it doesn't seem to fit a need but while I'd never question Kyle Williams work ethic, foot injuries seem to reoccur in big men and while I have a higher opinion of Troup and Bell than many on this board they also have had more than their share of injury. -
I don't know about about this women's particular case but I do know that college tuition has increased about 4x the rate of inflation for maybe the past 40-50 years. Just to show an example from my family, my sister who went to college about ten years earlier than me had a total tuition equal to about 2/3 her first year pay- my total tuition was about equal to my first year pay- my nephew going to school about 30 years after me will have a total tuition which will be between 5-7 times his expected first year pay, these are not disparate degrees I'm comparing but degrees in medicine and education from which you'd expect a solid middle-class income.

I thought this was pretty interesting - two topics I've seen other places but not addressed in the report are 1. Paying workers for less hours than actually worked (not just a Chinese thing to be sure) 2. The use of N-Hexane which acts as a neural toxin " Foxconn used N-Hexane, which evaporates faster than alcohol, to speed up production of touch screens for Apple products. It has since gone back to using alcohol."

You won't buy from us?? Well we won't sell to you!
....lybob replied to Koko78's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The reason it will be interesting is that there is a difference of opinion of how much spare capacity the Saudis actually have- they increased output to about 10mil a day to replace Libyan oil and meet increased Asian demand, Saudi officials say they can easily add another 1 to 1.5 million barrels of daily production but other oil experts say they are pretty much at their limit right now- but I agree that if they can supply the extra oil then they will not only to prevent prices from getting out of control but next to Israel they are Iran's worst enemy. -

....lybob replied to Koko78's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
From what I've read cutting off Iranian oil to Europe won't make a difference with the one caveat being that it takes refineries some time to switch between different types of crude (I've read it takes a couple weeks to a couple months) so it's a little more painful if Iran cuts them off rather then letting them switch on their own timeline- while it doesn't make a difference if Iranian oil is cut off from Europe because oil is fungible it will make a considerable difference if Iranian oil is taken off the global market and other countries can't or won't increase production to cover the difference, small shortfalls in supplies makes for large price increases, it will be interesting to see if the Saudis increase their production as they are promising to do because they have promised that before and have not come through. -
yeah Dave this is a dumb question because you know when some clown says something like it means exactly nothing.

Sarah Palin Hoping For Brokered Convention
....lybob replied to Dave_In_Norfolk's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually I'm hearing more about a brokered convention especially if Romney can't win Michigan- Jeb Bush is the name I've heard thrown out there not Palin- I'm trademarking a campaign slogan just in case "Bush, third time's the charmTM" -
Edwards, Dwan... should be cut?
....lybob replied to 95altima12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dwan Edwards is probably going to be cut but Spencer Johnson will get to compete for a DT position with Heard, Troup, and Jay Ross plus any draft picks or FAs brought in - every 4-3 team keeps a different mix of players but for example the Giants had DL-9 LBs-7 DBs- 9 -
