This sounds right to me if somehow Richardson falls to ten we'd have some pretty good offers - I think the chances of that are pretty slim- but Cincinnati giving us 17 and 21 for say 10 and our 3rd round pick might be nice.

I look at the top 3 OTs and think meh, in other drafts I think these guys are late first and second round guys - If the Bills are really looking for BPA then my guest is Dre Kirkpatrick, or Quinton Coples, I'm not crazy about a CB but a 6,3 CB who can match up with some of the huge WRs not in the league is something I could see Nix wanting.

I haven't seen enough of Coples to comment on his work ethic (I've read that he played this last season trying to avoid injury) but from the highlight video I'd say one concern is that he doesn't really have pass rush moves, in college he's physically gifted enough just to push Olinemen around until he's in position to toss them away and make a play or he simply out quicks them- I doubt this will be successful in the NFL, my take is that while Coples may have a higher ceiling than Ingram is that Ingram will contribute sooner.

I'm also a Ingram fan, to me Coples is the Karl Malone of the draft and Ingram is Charles Barkley . It will be interesting to see the combine results, is Coples an athlete in the Mario Williams, Julius Peppers class and how does Ingram compare to a Dwight Freeny or Elvis Dumervil.

I don't know exactly what Searcy starting would man but I wonder about some of the Giant defensive schemes - I know one involves 3 safeties 1 really big LB (Merriman?) Carrington,K Williams, Dareus, Mario Williams would be pretty sweet

my first post was just a list of cap savings from different players, your response sounded like you were offended I even had Kelsay in the list- sorry Kelsay is 32 and has never been anything but mediocre he perfectly deserves to be looked at as someone who's cap savings could be combined with others to bring in a couple high quality free agents.

I clearly wrote that I'm making arguments as valid and simple as the OP- The OPs argument is too simplistic to be valid but anyone who excepts it should equally accept mine.

Let me make arguments as valid and simple as the OP Canada has a lower unemployment rate than the US , Canada has a single payer health care therefore if the US wants to lower Unemployment they should adopt single payer. Germany has a lower unemployment rate than the US, Germany has much stronger unions than the US therefore if the US wants to lower unemployment rates they need stronger unions.

If Chris Kelsay is part of the plan then the plan is to be mediocre- Kelsay has 5.5 sacks his best season with the Bills but maybe the tenth season is the charm. The problem is going to be at RDE in a 4-3 because the Bills don't have anyone who's a good fit there- The Bills will need to grab at least one in Free agency and the one in the draft I'd suggest Jeremy Mincey as the free agent and whoever is the consensus DE (Coples, Ingram, or Mercilus) after the combine and pro-days.
