Not News - This roster just isn't good enough.
Talley56 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm thinking if you post something like this on any board of a team with any kind of potential you'd get similar responses. For instance, if you went over to Dallas' board in late October suggesting they won't win the NFC East, you'd probably be ripped to shreds. Now, that looks like a very real possibility. Good on you for being willing to go against the grain. I seem to recall, after our strong start in 2011, a post about our way of winning "not being sustainable" was unpopular only to sadly end up being correct. -

I'm actually not attending. I see I misread your OP about attending a game. Just hoping the Terps can pull it out.

Pinstripe, go Terps. We'll never be national championship contenders and, seeing as how we rarely ever won the ACC, we'll probably never win the Big Ten. An occasional bowl win is about the best we can hope for.

Around the NFL - Sunday December 5th

Actually, I meant to say NFC East. All of their remaining games are against division rivals. -

All of Washington's remaining games are against AFC East teams. They may very well win the division. -
My thoughts, assuming Michigan hangs on, are below. While I think Georgia should fall to 4, I'm thinking Bama moves to #1 and the selection committee wants to set it up so that Bama/Georgia meet in the championship, not the semifinals. 1. Alabama 2. Michigan 3. Georgia 4. Cincinnati Alabama vs Cincinnati Michigan vs Georgia

Actually, not only is the Buffalo upside down, but coming into this game, one team had the other team's number for a long time, came in as the underdog, only to come out still having the other team's number. That seems like a bad omen.

I would recommend bringing a poncho. I went to the Texans/Bills game which was in early October so it wasn't that cold but it was a downpour pretty much all game and my rain coat didn't hold up too well. So definitely at least a poncho.

A PAT after any Bills touchdown.

I don’t know that the ball went 10 yards before Seattle touched it.

Guess I've been out of the loop cause I didn't see this coming at all. Seems odd to do this now since Notre Dame could still make the playoffs (assuming Alabama loses and falls out, if either Michigan or OKState next up would be ND). I guess ND and Oklahoma will be competing for the next big coaching hire.

As I understand the rule, it's not just about the defensive player landing on the QB. It's about him purposely driving all or most of his weight on top of the QB and when I watch that play it looks to me like the defensive player is trying to ease up and not forcefully put all of his weight on Allen. I guess at the end of the day it is a judgement call.

I will agree about the ridiculous holding call on Morse. However, nothing about that hit on Allen was text book landing on him with his whole weight. The defender was clear as day trying to hold up and accidentally landed on Josh due to momentum. Sorry, but it was very much a horrible call in our favor. No way around that.

What teams do you fear playing in the PLAYOFFS the most?

Jets because if they make it that means they went on one heck of a late season run. And also Chiefs, Colts, and Titans if they have a healthy Henry. -
Around the NFL This Sunday 11/28 (Bills mini-bye)
Talley56 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Finally out of my knockout pool (different one from the Bills Backers, I was out of that one a long time ago). First time I ever made it to Thanksgiving weekend. But, thanks to Jalen Hurts' rough day, I still haven't made it to December. At least I can take comfort in the fact that my other option I was considering was the Texans, so, I would have been out either way. New Jersey teams suddenly came to play today. -
I just don't get how so many coaches and players can be so daft about staying inbounds when trying to run out the clock. Auburn RB runs out trying to get a first down and that's the only reason Bama even has a chance right now. I feel like a I see it way too much. Are coaches telling players to go down before going out and the players aren't listening? It just seems like such a fundamental thing to screw up so often.

Hats off to Michigan. Funny thing is, even after OSU's domination over the last 20 years, Michigan still owns the all-time record.

I watch this show and it is pretty good. However, I'm confused as to how to watch past episode 1 of season 4. At first I was told Paramount Plus. So I got a free trial of Paramount Plus. Then I hear Paramount Network, so I download Paramount Network. Apparently, you can only watch the first episode on Paramount Network and the rest of the episodes have a lock on them. So I'm confused. I thought I heard something about getting Fubo but I don't want to keep signing up for new networks only to find out that one doesn't work again. Unless someone can give me a simple solution where I'm not signing up for something new yet again I'm just going to wait until it becomes more available to watch the rest of season 4. I think I heard it will eventually be available on Paramount Plus.

Agree, for as much as we complain about officiating calls that don't go the Bills' way, we definitely get calls in our favor that tend to go unnoticed. I still maintain that, when we played the Chiefs, on Buffalo's last TD drive, when Josh threw the INT that got called back due to roughing the passer, that was a terrible call in our favor. That was a big play given that the Chiefs would have had the ball at around midfield when it was still a two-possession ball game.

Well, the Bills do play at Detroit next year.
