  1. UT had very inconsistent QB play, a terrible offensive scheme, and a HC that needs to leave. It was a very frustrating season to watch.
  2. Good point. Red solo cup usually gets around the open container laws. Also, Props to your Avatar pic (another Austinite here).
  3. I don't draft any Bills divisional rivals, Cowboys, or Steelers.
  4. Except that guy that died in a creak last year. But to be fair, I don't think he had a beer in his hand.
  5. SU didn't have professional (i.e. getting paid) athletes on their squad. Oregon on the other hand... You can't compare the teams or records, they weren't even puling from remotely the same talent pool. It would be like Buffalo only have access to UDFA and Walkons and not even being allowed in the draft.
  6. Ha ha ha, no. The name is actually from Wegman's Wedge woopop :-p
  7. I can go one better. Team fires the coaching staff after a 5-11 season, hires on a new HC with no previous HC experience. He picks their QB of the future in the first round of the draft though many considered him a reach. That HC and QB tandem goes to the playoffs 5 years in a row, with at least 1 win each year in the playoffs, capped off by a SB win. I could see the Bills going like either the '49ers or Ravens. You bring in a good HC like both these teams have and you'll have success. And my prediction this year is a 10-6 record, win wild card game, lose divisional.
  8. Is he going to tweet that if the team doesn't do well he already has the moving vans at the ready?
  9. I live in Austin, I was very excited that we picked up Goodwin.
  10. There once was a team that fired their SB winning coach after a terrible 5-11 season, got a rookie QB that people called a reach and a first time head coach. They went to the playoffs 5 straight years, with at least one win per year and then won the SB. Why not the Bills?
  11. During my great mid atlantic / NE tour this year, I spent a bit of time in Baltimore, including a "scenic" drive shortcut through town. I think my Ravens shirt was the only thing that kept me from getting murdered. Outside the inner harbor that city is pretty horrid until you get to the 'burbs. They don't seem to have problems attracting talent.
  12. Houston. Nice stadium, cool fans (both Houston and Buffalo), good tailgating, and what ended up being a spectacular game with David Carr and JP Losman (no joke, the game was fantastic). The game was so exciting and went down to the very end that the Houston fans were high fiving all the Bills fans. It was really a great experience...so hard to separate the venue (which was nice) from the game itself. http://en.wikipedia...._Houston_Texans
  13. We didn't factor in the complete ineptitude of the coach staff.
  14. Cleveland sucks so bad they can't even make a most miserable sports cities list.
  15. What's the Bills wait list? Time to enter a credit card?
  16. We had moved into a new apartment, and had about 15 people over for an opening day party. One of my friends was from CT and a Pats fan, and he was talking smack the whole morning. The rest was history, what a day!
  17. Uncle Rico threw over a mountain! Other options: Brett Favre, Johnny Unitas, Johnny Cash.
  18. Buffalo Rumblings says that the Bills are interviewing Kelly first.
  19. Ravens. The Bills are the team I root for and watch every week no matter what (or the radio if they were blacked out before I moved out of the area), but my family has lived in Baltimore/MD since 1997 so I have been following the Ravens for a while.
  20. How well did Chan do when his QB was Troy Aikman?
  21. 2008 Lions 4-0 Preseason 0-16 Regular Season.
  22. I heard Jim Kelly was going to buy it and turn it into a "No Right Turn" pendant as a gift for Scott Norwood.
