I think RW has woken up from the last 10 years of sleep. I think someone was lying to him about the state of affairs. It is nice having a football team again. Last year was a rough start with a decent finish and the parts seem in place for a great year. I hope he gets better.

Exactly. Raiders are a must win to prove our new run defense. The Pats are must win to prove our legitimacy. Last win against the Pats was September 7, 2003. That is now over 8 years ago. 8 years that we haven't been able to beat the Patriots! We have GOT to beat them this year.

I ended up turning off the game due to the nuthugging. Brady is one of the greatest, if not the greatest QB to ever play in the NFL. He had an incredible night. But every other word was Tom Brady this and Tom Brady that. I couldn't take it.

We need to beat NE or Phi (or both) before anyone takes us seriously.

Scouts don't make the call on who/when to draft, in theory the GM does. They also drafted Trent in the 3rd round not the first.

Where have the Ravens, Patriots, Eagles, etc. consistently drafted? Late in the draft with deep runs in the playoffs almost every year. Where have the Lions, Browns, Bills, Raiders, etc. consistently drafted? Early in the draft (think top 10) and no playoffs. Yeah, top draft picks are what matters :-/

In 2004, three players Nix drafted were selected to the 2005 Pro Bowl. In 2005, six players Nix drafted were selected to the 2006 Pro Bowl. In 2006, eleven players Nix drafted were selected to the 2007 Pro Bowl. In 2007, eight players Nix drafted were selected to the 2008 Pro Bowl. So..doing the math that would say that Nix between 2004 and 2008 drafted 28 players that were selected to the Pro Bowl. I bet he did that by using formulas on NFL.com.
