Well maybe there has been too much under the bridge at this point, but I tend to think the Ravens have acted professionally throughout and shown abundance of respect. Sorry but to me this is on Lamar. I truly regret this mess because I think Lamar has probably worsened his situation and to all accounts he's not only a unique talent but a great guy.

But I do drag him for not being on the sidelines with his teammates during the playoff game.

If that's true I wonder why he would refuse at least entering into a negotiation. It would have been normal and prudent to do so.

Well what I meant to say was that after his third year he was potentially looking at waiting two years for a new contract (if the Ravens extended). That's when agents start agitating for a new contract assuming they are representing talents like Lamar.

I know. Makes no sense to me. And if/when he starts receiving offers who is going to go through and vet a lengthy and complicated legal document. Lamar?

Thank you. You are right. So let me ask you this. After his third year (and his MVP) why wouldn't any agent have insisted that he not play the remaining two years of his rookie deal and risk injury that might preclude a second contract. When did Josh's new contract get done. Kyler Murray?

I don't see where Lamar is being valued less than those guys. At 133 MM fully guaranteed for three years (though he apparently wanted a longer term, more money, and more money guaranteed) he'd be making more annually and have more guaranteed money, all of which I would think is appropriate. Lamar's legitimate play was to ask for a new contract heading into his third year after he won MVP. I don't understand why his agent wasn't jumping up and down. Oh wait... Apparently a great guy but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

And should he be cheered for not even being on the sidelines in the playoff game when the backup who hero worships him and was banged up himself had to play? Oh, maybe as many as six or seven teams may talk to him. It's just that they may well not feel that it's in their best interests to meet his demands.

How are they blackballing Lamar if the owners have legitimate business reasons for not giving him the contract he wants? I mean maybe they just don't think he's worth that. If Lamar's camp starts alleging collusion, it will not be a good look imo. Just sour grapes.

I wonder what happens when later this afternoon nobody beats a path to his door ready to give him whatever he wants. So maybe he signs the franchise tag and stays in Baltimore. I don't think sitting out the year is in his best interests. I think maybe his MVP went to his head.

I saw a scrambling Brisset of all people completely break Dodson's ankles with a non-move in the open field.

He's on a secret mission to destroy the Jets and the Packers because he is a nihilist who actually hates football. Douglas will sign all these guys, create competing factions in the locker room, then Aaron will change his mind and retire to a 500 acre spread in Wyoming, completely screwing GBs cap situation. Douglas heads to the airport where a jet has been kept on standby for a trip to Baltimore where he gives Lamar most of what he wants and then the Ravens match. Perfection.

McGovern is outstanding in pass pro. Though tall for a guard he is great at keeping his pad level low to gain leverage, uses his hands extremely well, maintains an even, level base, anchors well, makes excellent decisions when having to decide which of two gaps to cover, is overall technically sound (see Cover 1). Likely only average in run blocking but clearly well above in pass pro. I bet he (and his agent) are looking two or three years down the road when they may reasonably expect him to be signing a bigger deal at 27-28 yrs old. Interested in seeing his use as a fullback/blocking TE. We do some of that already.

Tremaine is a good, solid player and teammate. I'm happy that he's getting paid but at that price I'm also happy it's not us who is having to pay him. As far back as his draft scouting reports, and pretty much continuously since, his perceived lack of instincts (accounting in the opinion of some for the lack of big plays) has been flagged as a weakness. The Bills obviously hoped this aptitude would develop but it would seem that the needle has pretty much remained where it always was. To me the Bears are paying as though this issue had been favourably resolved. I see no evidence that it has. It will be most interesting to see the Bears fans reactions as the season progresses now that Tremaine is replacing Roquan, who imo is better. Bears picked him ahead of where Tremaine was taken when they were drafted. I'll also be interested to see if the Bears use him in the same or in different ways than the Bills. The guy's physical attributes are so impressive that some change to his responsibilities might lead to better results.

Was hoping the Bills would draft him. Took Cody Ford at #38 instead. Risner went #41. Maybe better late than never.

It's gotta be CJ Stroud. What nfl GM would make a move like that for a 180 lb 5'10" QB? Can't believe they would do this for Levis either. If Richardson has the ability to process or if that ability is there to be developed he will be a lot better than all these other guys.

He's actually not that great a LT imo, though he can play the position. I think he could be a very good guard. I don't know how he would react to the suggestion that he move inside. Probably not very well.

He’d be a decent get in the fifth. Poor man’s Dont’a Foreman. Would like Foreman a lot but he will get paid about the same as Singletary.

Mims is a very good player who has not been getting a lot of attention. That may change now with his 4:38 40. I was hoping to nab him in the third if we did not draft any of the more highly rated wide receivers in the first or second. He's probably as good or almost as any wideout in the draft imo.

Concussions, especially for a QB, are a deal killer for me. The league isn't now where it was when Aikman was playing (and it's a good thing). I think prudent risk management would suggest moving on from Tua asap. Personally I'd love to see Lamar in Miami. Don't really want to be in a Division where one team always wipes the floor with the others.

Back when I was hoping he'd be there for us in the third. I now think he will be off the board when we pick in the second. But with him, Mayer and Musgrave there will be a great TE there at 27 imo if the Bills are so inclined.

He's reputed never once in his life to have uttered a profanity and he takes his teammates to task when they do. I wouldn't trust a guy like that,

This year's class of RBs is really good. Get all you need in the fifth or sixth.
