  1. Mark Schlereth used to piss himself on the field. Somehow thought he was playing a trick on the fans.
  2. Jeudy is a nice player but just eye candy. I very much doubt that they are looking to upgrade the wrs. Their resources should probably be better served anyway by investing for a player or two for the D.
  3. Amongst units pass rushers are of premium value in the run up to and in the playoffs. If you've got a good group that you can make even better you might seriously consider it. Elite fronts can easily decide championships.
  4. On paper Maye is maybe a better pro prospect. He too is a double threat, except he's 6'4" and weights 230 LBs.. Williams is a magician but I'm a little (not much) concerned about his ability to transition. I just hope that both these guys go to teams that are prepared to do what is necessary to have them develop and succeed.
  5. I think Jeudy makes a ton of dense for Indy. I think he makes sense for us too.
  6. Not a process kind of guy. Have a hard time seeing McD being in favour of it.
  7. If anyone thinks Kincaid would be unable to do what LaPorta has done in Detroit they are mistaken.
  8. Some "bad" teams know how to develop an elite prospect at the all important position, Jacksonville, Buffalo...Some teams only know how to ruin them. If I were in the Williams or Maye camps I would not want them in NE.
  9. Going to NE would more likely be a nightmare scenario for Caleb or Maye.
  10. Mac Jones is terrible in the NE O. But he'd probably be very good in San Fran. He has pretty much the same strengths and weaknesses as Brock Purdy.
  11. Do it for sure if at reasonable cost. You can't have enuf pass rush, especially in the playoffs. Pass rush is the way to beat San Fran. Probably the only way.
  12. Brock Purdy can't do what Josh or Pat Mahomes can do and if you ask him to he would implode. But I don't think Josh or Pat could run Kyle's offence any better than Purdy does.
  13. With our luck we trade him and he breaks out into an experienced, young and in his prime pro bowl edge rusher - because that's the level at which he appears capable of playing. I don't want a Wyatt Teller repeat. Can't imagine trading him unless we know we cannot resign him.
  14. I think RWC was pointing out that TJ Watt had surgery. I don't think his was a grade 3 tear.
  15. Size (or lack thereof) is why he dropped in the draft. Even then he was a 3rd rounder. Exciting player but I agree with what has been said about his benefiting from very good run blocking.
  16. The paper boy they've got under Center is going to get killed.
  17. Don't know. Could be. No surgery generally means maybe four to six weeks before rehab. Is Jones going under the knife for sure? Edit: ok I see he's having surgery. So maybe he's done for this year after all. I still think we need to know how severe the tear is. Just maybe he could make the playoffs.
  18. Anybody who celebrates injury to a great player, regardless of team (eg whether it's Milano or Kelsey or Tua) is just not a football fan (and that's being generous). No. TJ Watt missed 7 games. If it's completely torn yeah it's prolly 4 to 6 mos.
  19. They got hosed either way. I missed the call, or at least the reason for picking up the flag. Another poster said it was ruled uncatchable. You may have the better argument tho because I do distinctly remember Pat signaling to the refs the tipped ball gesture. I guess what daddy wants...
  20. You have a point though personally I don't discount the jet lag "excuse". I do sort of wonder tho whether in football, as in war, it is easier when under stress to defend a position than it is to attack it.
  21. We don't know how what grade Jones' tear is. He could be back this year if it's grade 1 or possibly if it's grade 2. TJ Watt missed 7 games (partial tear).
  22. I can't imagine that McD did not take the Jags seriously. Everybody knows they have a stout D and many good players at skill positions on O. Are we sure that the travel arrangements were his call to begin with?
  23. He dominated for 20 years because he is a great defensive coach who had McDaniels and Tom Brady. All McD needs is a Josh McDaniel because he's already got a Tom Brady (or reasonable facsimile). We will see this year if Dorsey can suck it up or not.
  24. Looked half way decent yesterday. Seems to have lost a step tho.
