  1. he's on pace for 32 touchdowns, this guy is wicked awesome! seriously though, i love what i saw and now maybe we can put this guy in the "which receivers will step up" conversation. also, very nice to see fitz with another sure handed go-to guy today. also really liked what i saw from david nelson. the bigs came up pretty big!
  2. i've really liked scott for a few years now. the guy doesn't seem like a blue chip athlete, but he is physical and is usually in the right place and makes good, sound tackles. he doesn't jump around like an idiot after a good play either, i like that. seems humble and appreciative of the opportunity to be playing in the nfl. overall, another guy i am very happy to have on my team!
  3. schopp and the bulldog are not my favorite sports talk hosts, but from what i heard, fans were more concerned with confronting them than making a point, and that just sounded a bit weak. mike schopp is not a bills fan and definately holds some grudge against the organisation as a whole, but i have to respect his opinions even if i do not agree with them. and i definately do not agree because i am a fan and love my team no matter what...today was amazing! GO BILLS!!!
  4. thanks. i am really interested now to see kellen heard in the game today to see how he matches up against nfl starters. i'll be keeping an eye out for danny batten as well. i was kind of hoping to see lee smith in there as well but i think being such a new addition to the team it might be better for the team if he sits out for a bit.
  5. i'm in this room right here. i would be really impressed if we can get a solid all around offensive game going. including contributions from the tight end(s) as well. defensively, i would be impressed with a good run d and some pressure by the front seven.
  6. michael irvin and dieon sanders are the two i cannot stand to listen to. they are so full of themselves that it makes me start to get road rage on my couch.
  7. i'm interested to see who the other inactives are aside from easly and troup. i'm really looking forward to this game and want to see who is going to be in the lineup.
  8. emmitt smiff is pretty horrible as well. but you can find some enjoyment from an entertainment standpoint if you listen long enough. a lot of these former athletes are damn near unlistenable if you are looking for actual analysis and information.
  9. my job takes me into bradford, pa quite a bit and i have to say they are pretty well divided between bills and steelers. although you cannot find any bills paraphernalia in their shmalshmart. its all black and gold in there.
  10. absolutely agree with this. there are no available superstars out there right now so i am happy with our management kicking a bunch of tires to see which ones can hold some air.
  11. i like this move. lee smith is a big guy and reportedly a very good blocker. if he can catch a couple balls and hold onto them while rumbling for a couple yards, that's all just gravy. what i imagine this guy is here to do is add another legitimate blocker to give fitz a bit more time and widen holes for freddy and cj. and if he can do that, i like it!
  12. i could see a lot of roster turnover throughout the season. if buddy feels he can add someone who could concievably be better than someone else, they will make a move. like last year, i can envision a revolving door with o-linemen coming and going in an effort to find youngsters who may have some intriguing qualities.
  13. the more i think about this the more i like it. with the strength and agility that he posesses, he could be a nightmare for d-linemen if he gets into them. what is jasper serving up on sunday afternoons? PANCAKES!!!!
  14. if it's nerves, that could conceivably be overcome with experience. and if a nervous player with potentials settles down and becomes consistant...then we've got ourselves a football player!
  15. he might be better suited for action rather than reaction. knowing the snap count as well as where you're going and what you're doing ahead of time might also be beneficial. plus, he might not wear down as quick.
  16. don't really know if they'll be "breaking out" or not, but two players that i will be watching for chris hairston and kelvin sheppard. hairston looks like he has a bit of nasty in him, and shep seems to have a serious nose for the ball. honorable mention goes to scott chandler and kellen heard...i just really like having big guys on my team!
  17. i am hoping that easley is going to find a comfort level within the offense and be a contributor this year. and i really hope that he, as well as the other wideouts on the roster can take advantage of opportunities and make people pay for stacking the box or giving stevie the extra attention. first thing they need to do is catch all those passes that are hitting them in the hands. but i like the whole big, strong and fast thing we have going on. can you come kick my dog a few times? maybe school my youngsters in playground ball or call my wife fat? your optimism is truly inspiring...thanks for contributing!
  18. i have to go to ellicottville for work on friday, i'll ask around a bit for ya.
  19. i don't think it matters if he starts or not, the idea is to get this kid into the lineup and let him run into a bunch of people and see how well he can shove them around. i remember hearing that this kid is a big mauler but really raw and rough around the edges. well then...lets start polishing and see what we have!
  20. if you just put the jinx on i am going to be very, very upset.
  21. i, like many here, really like this kid and think he has a lot of potential. unlike many here, i thought the idea of him moving to the ilb position was not a horrible idea simply because it would conceivably put another playmaker on the field. but last i heard he was 2nd team ilb, and now the team has added kirk morrison to the mix. is moats injured right now and in danger of missing signifigant time? are they moving him back outside? are they just trying out as many combos as possible to find the best mix? if anyone has any insight, i'd be much appreciative.
  22. yeah. what he said. i can handle a bust but everything i hear says this guy is a bum. thank you but no.
