  1. i'd be happy with the coach we have now if there were some players who displayed that attitude on the feild rather than dropping a stinky pickle out there and saying how dissapointed they are in a monotone fashion after the game. as a side note...does anyone else miss marv's gum flying across the feild when he was really riled up?
  2. i think this topic is the heart of the matter...where is our collective team "fire"? i'm not talkin about the "whoo-hoo look at me i just made a takle for loss in a game where we are down by 42 points" stuff. i mean the "i am mad as hell and i'm not gonna take this anymore stuff. where are our players that get mad and go knock people around, why do we never see a player make a bad play or get a penalty and then go out and pancake someone to make amends. i still remember my pee wee football coach telling me the ultimate goal as a lineman is to hit someone so hard they get a snot bubble going. sorry for the rant, but this is the first time in a long time that i am genuinely p!$$ed at our team. show some heart and fire, get mad, and please care at least half as much as most of us crazy diehards! GO BILLS!
  3. bench him?!? cut him! cut him and anyone else who doesn't want to give their best. i can handle all the "we don't have enough talent but at least they play hard" stuff, but if you don't want to be here, then don't let the door hit you on the way out!
  4. if roscoe is to be an effective reciever, he has to get the ball in space (preferably a quick slant being led and hit in stride) so that he can accelerate and use all the quickness and speed he has at his disposal. i would also be interested in seeing some kind of wr screen with a wall of blockers running around the edge. unfortunately, the only pass i ever see thrown his way is that quick snap, turn and throw that does nothing but get the wr smacked about .03 seconds after the ball gets there.
  5. if this offense were tailored to edwards' strengths, as well as taking advantage of our young and (aggressive?) o-line, screens and quick hitting pass plays would be great. who cares if they don't throw deep as long as we move the chains, establish rhythm and confidence. but please, for the love of all that is good and holy...don't throw a 2 yard pass on 3rd and 25!
