I watched a couple games last weekend. I saw dominant teams execute, and coaching that pushed those good teams to a win. I don't know that the Bills are close. They may be inching their way there, but that is not good enough. When I watch other teams (NE, KC (at the moment), Cardinals, Green Bay) I can't help but think how FAR the Bills have to go to get to those levels. The answer is simple, as we all know. Find a great QB and the rest will fall in place. Until then, all else is futile. NE, right now, is unstoppable. They look REALLY, scary good ... on both sides of the ball. We are unlucky enough to have Tom Brady in our division.

Does anyone sense a racial element to this?

I say bring EJ back into fold. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. Let's get a final determination on his level of play. At least he is mobile and can run. It was tough watching Orton stand on the pocket and waddle around when he had to scramble. Opposing defenses are simply gonna blitz Orton all day up the middle and make him uncomfortable. Why wasn't Chandler used more? Did they need him for blocking? Our O-line was manhandled in 2nd half.

THIS. (once we get a great quarterback, all else is gravy. A great QB makes the OLine and everyone else look better ...) and you can take that to the bank.

Why no bubble screens? 3rd and 2 and pass play that takes 5+ seconds to develop meanwhile our QB gets sacked? Fire the puke! Great, then Marrone can get sh*tcanned for standing by his guy.

I'm not sure what to make of Hackett, but I'll go along with the fact that he is not a great coordinator. BUT, then why on earth would Marrone attach himself to this guy? Obviously he trusts him and likes him ... but why? I guess Marrone can be loyal to a fault. Head coaching jobs are few and far between ... why attach your legacy and job to an unproven candidate? Hackett appears to be the weak link in the armor.

My gut tells me "No Thanks" ... let's develop a QB organically ... draft and develop him. I say, keep drafting a QB every year or every other year until we find the right guy. Orton has a 2 year deal so he WILL be in Buffalo next year... right?

I agree. Love Bill Polian. Not a fan of Holmgren. He lost "it".

What does GOAT mean?

When the FO gets the ability to evaluate quality QB's, then we will turn corner. We passed up on Kaepernick and Russell ... good organizations like Seattle and SF know how to evaluate and pick good QB's. Something is off about our FO. I think Doug Whaley may have "it" as he pulled trigger on Sammy Watkins and got it right but he also inherited EJ. Give Whaley a chance but clean up rest of FO and personnel people. I want Marrone to win, but man he is not measuring up. Compare Seattle to Bills ... not even close. Bills are so far from elite. Frustrated ...

I agree. Woods especially showed that body language. What can be said ... EJ just didn't have a good day overall. EJ was also late on that throw to Chandler near end of game. Pass was too late and therefore broken up by defender. The Buffalo Bills make average teams look good.

As far as I can remember, the Chargers don't "travel well" when they come back east (ala Buffalo, NE or any east coast team). BUT, Buffalo will need to bring their "A" game this week for sure.

Who cares. I'm not missing them. Better that they stay away.

I wonder how many of the posters here actually watched the MIA-NE game? I telling you what I observed and that is that this kid is really good and Buffalo better be ready for him. Yes, NE was weak in the middle AND Tom Brady had an off day, but we need to contain Knowshon.

Watch out for Knowshon Moreno! He's a tough RB who SHREDDED New England's D. That dude is REAL good. If we can limit his yardage, we'll have a good chance.
