  1. Not bad getting a second and a 7th. Not sure about the swap of thirds, but, who cares.
  2. I don't understand how half of the people on the radio get paid.
  3. I know it's impractical to call each guy, but it just seems so impersonal to send a mass text. I like Marrone and I know this is the way people communicate now, so I'm not judging. But it just seems... young?.. to me.
  4. On GR he mentioned that he meant to say (or did say, which he didn't though) that there was the "potential" for a new stadium. So backed off those comments a bit.
  5. The word is that Whiz had is hand in way too many of the personnel decisions and that's what did him in. So I would assume that he had a lot to do with bringing in Kolb. I just don't see Whiz as an upgrade. Devils advocate though, the thought seems to be that Whiz wouldn't have any hand (or as much) in personnel decisions here with Whaley/Nix handling that, and that if he focused on coaching he would be much better. Not sure if I agree, but, it's something to think about.
  6. Hell yes. Good man and a good coach. Many mistakes this year but I'll be a Chan fan forever. And yes, he would be a great OC somewhere when he doesn't have to manage the clock and the entire show.
  7. I'm as big of a Bills optimist as they come. I'm still upset they couldn't make it work with Chan. But if we "settle" for Whisenhunt without finishing out a search, I'd be really disappointed. At first uneducated glance, I'd rather go with Marrone or Lovie. Hated the "punt inside the 40" stat I saw today about Whis, although of course it doesn't tell the whole story. Anyone know what kind of guy Whisenhunt is? Good guy?
  8. Would love this. Good men as well.
  9. I was actually a big fan of Chan 2010-2011. And chan the person. Best wishes to him. Now go get Chip Kelly.
  10. If it's true, I hope Jim and Thurman know how to run an organization.
  11. As others have said, if you want Bill you also get Chris- and he's shown an inability to evaluate talent OR act like a professional. On top of that you probably say goodbye to Whaley. Not the best move to bring Bill in IMO. Hope it's not the case.
  12. I don't think anyone has a concrete location for tailgating yet. Same thing for the bars tonight, if anyone finds the bills contingent wed love to meet up.
  13. We'll be there but I'm not sure where we're setting up yet. I think our friends we're meeting up with are trying to get a hold of Kenny. If anyone heads out to a bar downtown on Saturday night, the wife and I might try to meet up... but you'll have to be seen with me and my Leodis jersey! Go bills!
  14. My only problem with Lil' Donte is before last season, when seemingly no one was calling him (before the "who dey" tweet fiasco), he started twittering to fans and former Bills teammates about how much he wanted to come back, about how this is where he wanted to be. If the coaches were putting himself in such bad situations... I wouldn't want to come back if I were him. Funny how he says all this now that he's gone.
  15. Really hope that is not true. Awful if true.
  16. Spot on. I quit fantasy three years ago because I think in some ways it ruins true fandom. It has it's place... but not for me. I don't miss it a bit... and whenever someone tells me about their fantasy team... they usually don't understand real football.
  17. This is the dumbest post I've ever seen. Did the OP also notice Fitz is ahead of Brees and Rivers in YPA? Two weeks ago "we" were all screaming for a 110% running offense... Now Chan's playing to those strengths (finding success with our third string RB) and "we're" upset that we don't throw enough.
  18. Picture quality for me is solid. I just miss some decent sound.
  19. If I were a betting man (well, I am) I would say the main reason Jones is in the slot over Naaman, Roscoe, or anyone else, is that they love his ability to block. It's no secret that they were trying to get Nelson up to speed on blocking this summer and use his size to put him as a bit of a tight end type to get mismatches. In fact, that's how he got injured early in camp, in blocking drills. So, on top of the fact that they love Jones blocking and the fact that he knows the entire playbook, the others simply can't do what the Bills expect out of their "slot" receiver, which as Pat Kirwan gushed about during TC, is actually more of a second TE than your every day definition of a "slot" receiver. Think David Nelson, not Wes Welker and definitely not Naaman.
  20. Can anyone confirm that their "online" ($250) login still works on the PS3? Going to sign up this weekend and worried that maybe it was a "week 1 trial" or something. Would rather have the extra phone/ipad stuff if needed, but will be watching on the PS3 whenever possible.
  21. Jerry hit the nail on the head in regards to Mario's chance to defend the organization, IMO.
