What? You never need a nap?

I’m excited to see next year. I enjoyed a TON of Bills football last season. I wish we were still playing, but I still had a good time. I know we have holes to fill, again, but I believe we will be in the hunt again as well. One day…..

I’m with you. But there will be no blood, nor fighting, nor slaying.

I pretty much just watch games on my television. 🤷‍♂️

    Hey, fellas!

I feel (and have felt) like the 2024 Mets season isn’t necessarily a “throw away” season, but still a “do your best with what you’ve got” kind of season.

My expectations are around .500, hopefully above - and I’m okay with that.

I think Cohen will have a better idea of the team’s needs and will be in more of a “nobody will offer more money to any player I want on the team,” mode next offseason.

The lack of attention (again) at DH is primarily what makes me feel this way.

Time to find out if last year’s rookies/newbies are gonna be part of the long-term solution - or if it’s time to move on.

Love to see Ottavino back, personally.

But I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of our young guys and see them separate the men from the boys and the contenders from the pretenders.

Can we put the Mahomes threads in a different forum please?

He doesn’t play for the Bills. Yes he’s good. Yes Josh is also good. Yes he is beatable. Yes he has beaten the Bills in the playoffs often.

    Cool.

    Why??

You know, I used to think that way, but I am not so sure.  The problem with that logic is that it assumes we beat Cincy in the next game, a team that we have since learned that we seem to match up against worse than any other team in the NFL.

This year, Cincy was not even in the playoffs.  Therefore, if we beat KC, which we were in great position to do at home, I like our chances more vs Baltimore than I would the 2021 Bengals tbh.

We didn’t even try against Cincinnati a year ago.

I do agree that we’d have beaten Baltimore this year, had we gotten past the Chiefs, though.

I just think Cinci, at that time, would have been a breeze.

  5. This year was weird for me.

I went in with high, but realistic, expectations.

Then we started crawling back from a lackluster start and I shifted to “if we make the playoffs, we’re going to the Super Bowl.”

Then we made the playoffs, then won the division later that day and I was convinced we were going all the way.

Then we lost. In the Divisional Round. Again.

But going into next season, my expectations are actually higher.

    I can’t wait.

Unfortunately I think the standards with the owner and half the fanbase are so low, that I’m not even sure another massive postseason disappointment gets McD Cannes.

Terry and a lot of fans feel that simply a Divisional Round exit with an elite QB is a huge accomplishment. It’s happened 3 years in a row and they want more of it.

I think if it was somewhere else, this could be a good analysis of the situation by Brady. Here, I’m not so sure. I guess if the offense is solid he probably feels he could still get hired away.

    I hope Sean enjoys France.

Folks used to call Brady a system QB, it was all Belichick, he's just lucky, etc etc.

Really, the admission that Brady is the GOAT only happened here in Bills land after he left New England and stopped being our boogeyman.

Now, they are afraid to say Mahomes is the best because he's our new boogeyman.

And KC is the new NE.

How is it wild? It has to do with the game day experience. The song is not a classic and has no bearing to anything Buffalo, so why continue playing it every home game? Is the song deserving of being a Bills tradition on gameday? It’s a valid question in my opinion.

    No, they do not.

Okay, Bob. I’ll rephrase. Very sporting event (baseball, football, hockey) that I’ve been to over the last decade or so has played that song.

    Why?

    It is familiar to most.
    It has a great beat.
It is easy to clap to.
    It is simple.

    We’re not talking rocket surgery.

Why do the Bills always play this song on gamedays?  The song is 20yrs old and, as far as I’m aware, has zero relevance to Buffalo.

In my opinion, playing this song comes off as tacky, outdated and simply put:  embarrassing.

    1. Why do we play this song?

    2. Who is responsible for selecting the playlist on game days.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I’m pretty sure every sporting event for every major sport plays this song at least once/game.
