I believe the Chargers are the only team to lead the NFL in offense and defense and not make the playoffs.
I think we can do this.

Cry.
Hug everyone in the same room.
Call some Bills fan buddies.
Drink champagne.

The only way I’m watching football tomorrow is if I have nothing else to do.
Nothing at all to do with the teams. In fact, I think they’ll be fun games to watch.
Jus nothing I’m going to plan around, like I do with Bills games.

The award itself is stupid, really.
It’s a great award, in my opinion.
But its intention has never been to give it to a depth player who has literally zero impact in any game throughout the season. Like Hamlin.

This is really dumb.

I generally get a “Go Bills,” from most Bills fans.
I’ve found that I’ve had more actual conversations with Jets and Patriots fans (when I’ve worn Bills garb on their turf). 100% of those conversations ended up with me hearing that they want the Bills to win it all once their team is eliminated.

Wasn’t Diggs leading the league in receptions up until Dorsey got canned?
I’m not bringing this up to bash Brady (I like wins); only making a point that Diggs was every bit of a #1 until the change was made.

the NCAA is very very big on the gambling issue. The Don't Bet On It campaign has been around a very long time. Every locker room in the NCAA is littered with signs and billboards about it. There are several meetings that teams have to go through, including stuff like this. Even baseball, track, and diving teams have preventative and warning seminars for betting. They have them for domestic abuse, substance abuse, sexual assault, dealing with law enforcement, and more.
The NFL does not do as well to protect its athletes as the NCAA.
Looks like it’s working as well as “Just Say No,” did .. which turned out to be totally worthless.- 3

Other than the sadness of what seems to be a gambling addiction for a very young man, this is a nothing-burger.

I rarely wear a Bills hat outside of the season.
Same with baseball … usually only don a Mets hat during the season.
I’ve only been to a few football stadiums. I’ve never seen any poor behavior from Bills fans, but I’m sure it happens.
What sticks out to me is Bills fans’ behavior in the lot at Jacksonville (playoff game). I was not there, but I know they trashed one lot and even started a fire.
I remember people here cheering that behavior on.
I thought it was pretty scummy.

It’s a business. Players are always going to go to the highest bidder. As they should.

Kingsbury has literally never been successful at any level. He’s horrible. And he’s a douche bag. If Mike McDaniel and Aaron Rodgers were to have a baby, it would be Kingsbury.
@noacls, share with the class a season, college or NFL, in which Kingsbury was successful. -

I hope they interview:
Joe Brady
Kliff Kingsbury
Kellen Moore
Arthur Smith
Zac Robinson
Brian Johnson
Mike LaFluer
Kingsbury would be my top choice. If you want change, you take a demanding prick and put him in the building. He is not a yes man.
If they hire Kingsbury, I’ll probably go out and buy a dog just so I can kick it.- 7

It’s been a trend since McDermott got here.
There’s one common denominator … him.
He folds like a cheap suit during crunch time.

It is a strong roster but it has some holes and is old in some key spots. They have Herbert and they have their left tackle. At every other premium position they have a hole or a guy who will need replacing in the next two offseasons.
I was just listening to the radio and they were discussing LAC’s cap situation.
It ain’t pretty.

Insane decision for him. His ego overran his common sense. He could have taken a ***** on the Dean's car at Michigan and they would have built him a statue all while cutting him a $125M check. Instead, he take a super high turnover job where his imagine as infallible will be questioned week to week by national reporters.
That said, it's an incredibly strong roster, so maybe he skates to a Super Bowl and retires as the greatest football coach ever.
I think your second paragraph perfectly explains why your opening sentence is wrong.- 1

That Von Miller contract was gold.

Unless it worked. then it would have been awesome to have an aggressive head coach who does what it takes to win. The outcome determines what we will say a lot of times.
No. It still would have been stupid, but lucky they got away with it.
Turns out, it was just stupid. Very stupid.
