He said he had caught balls in the stands before and the Bills took them back and promised replacement footballs - then reneged.

This time the team came through.

I’d love to know how many people have caught more than one football at NFL games.

My guess is close to zero.

    I call bullsh*t.

I'm not gonna lie, yesterdays loss did not bother me as much as one might think. Unfortunately I came to the realization a week or two ago that this group did not have an extended run in them - although I would've preferred to see them get the chance to prove me wrong. In the end their strong start to the season masked how bad they've been for months to me.

As for Stearns and Mendoza, I'm not a pitchforks and torches type fan and I'd give them a pass this year because of how things went last year. Plus, I never got the impression that Mendoza lost clubhouse. I'm more down on Stearns, with the benefit of hindsight his starting pitching plan fell woefully short.

It will be very interesting to see how they approach this off-season. Front and center is Pete, but Bor-ass will drag it out like he always does and unfortunately Vientos as the backup plan to Pete isn't all that appealing anymore . Personally I think they need to make some tough decisions wrt Vientos, Baty, McNeil, Acuna and Mauricio - none of them stood out to me.

Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts. In the mean time thankfully we have the Bills to transition to!

    We are definitely aligned.

I love Squirrel, but he’s toast.

And I would not be comfortable moving forward with Vientos as an everyday player.

Same with Baty and everyone else on your list.

    Well, fellas … ouch.

I still believe in Stearns and expect him to make some necessary decisions.

We need to get younger and - obviously - better.

I don’t care who stays or goes. There is no place for nostalgia or soft spots.

I do, however, hope Mendoza is retained. That said - if there’s someone better and available, I’d never poo pop an upgrade.

Should be a good off season.

It was fun to follow the season with you guys. Looking forward to doing it again in 2026.

The roller coaster ride continues. Maybe their best win of the season tonight.

I went to the game last Friday against the Nats. I thought that was the beginning of a great Mets weekend, not so much. BTW, 5-0 this year for games attended!

I tend to be a fan with rose colored glasses but I have low expectations for this year, hope they prove me wrong.

Best part about the win (IMO) …. Eddie Diaz’ six-out save.  Great win, all around. We can’t lose another game. LET’S GO!

That's pretty frightening when you think about it, that the Bills had a 1st round grade on Elam.  Not sure what traits they liked about him.  Just watching him on the Cowboys the first two weeks of the season, he plays way off his man and looks like he has no confidence.

He doesn’t have any confidence because even HE knows he sucks.

    Colossal bust.

Which collapse? June (3-14), August (2-14) or September (4-10 so far)? During the August swoon I was still convinced we'd make the playoffs, not so much today. This team has all the hallmarks of a .500 team, which shouldn't be the case given the talent.

Can't wait to see what happens tonight against deGrom.

I was referring, basically, to how they’ve been playing since they were 20 games above .500.

Brutal.  Team doesn't even deserve to be in the playoffs if this keeps up.

The only positive note is McLean looks more and more like the real deal.

Insane collapse. That’s all I can say right now.

Actually … one more thing.  F*ck off to all the Yankee fans who wanted Soto to fail.
