Play the game to score 13 points and have the defense bend, but not break.
Well, I guess that’s better than leaving it up to the head coach to not f*ck the last 13 seconds of an imminent playoff victory.-

I’m probably the dumb one here … but what the f*ck is “running the 13?”

We have Marty Schottenheimer and Ted Thompson running the show.
Might as well be Marty Feldman and Ted Knight.

Anyone saying the Bills don’t have a WR problem shouldn’t be allowed to drive or have children.

No, what makes absolutely zero sense is someone questioning any Bills fans hatred towards the Chiefs.
I questioned hatred toward the Patriots during their dominance over the Buffalo, too.A lot of people confuse hatred with jealousy.

So we are only allowed to hate teams that we beat all the time?Makes sense.
Speaking of sense, your response makes none. -

Because I dont feel like hate watching my favorite team.
I certainly didn’t recommend hate watching the Bills.
It’s possible to be a Bills fan and to be frustrated by crappy performance in the front office, on the sidelines and on the field.
-
Why hate them?
I hate that the Bills don’t have the players/coaches to beat KC in the playoffs.
That's not KC’s fault.
Just like it wasn’t NE’s fault all those years.

We lost to Seattle? He had three plays from inside the 10 at the end to get us in and couldn't.
No, he had his best game ever against Seattle if my memory serves me. -

I hated Rex and wanted him gone. I found that era of Bills football more miserable than the 6-10 purgatory. But I still enjoyed watching us win games. Still got excited by the winning.
My difficulty enjoying the wins came from the plethora of idiots each week who actually thought we won because of something Taylor did.
That happened:
A) whenever we played Miami and
B) when we played Seattle
That was it.

That is a totally fine and fair take. I'm not asking anyone to consider 13-4 a success if you get bounced in the playoffs. But if you don't enjoy watching your team win a game in case they lose later then turn off the tv and go do something else with your life. Seriously.
This is where I was during the TuhROD years. The ONLY time I’ve ever hated watching the Bills. The day that piece of sh*t was traded was the end of feeling that way.-

It isn't about optimism or pessimism. It is about tying enjoyment only to championships. That's not a healthy way to consume sports. I want the Bills to win a Superbowl as badly as anybody. But I don't not enjoy regular season wins in case they don't win the Superbowl. You have to enjoy wins in sport. Every single one.
I’m approaching 40 years of being a Bills fan. Many on TBD have been with them since the beginning.
I enjoy every win.
But every season of the Allen era that goes by without a Super Bowl is nothing short of a failure.
I feel like I’ve been patient.
Show me the mother f*cking baby.

Ugh, while I hate a LAMP post, I've been struggling with my disconnect from the Bills season so far and more so am curious to see if anyone else is feeling the same way.
We don’t have a Super Bowl roster or a Super Bowl coaching staff.
We have a great QB and a great RB.
That’s simply not enough.

lets wait to hear the whole story but glad someone is willing to stand on business to these refs because that's how we will get eyes open on the problem of officiating.
everyone wanted better officiating so there were new rules made to assist and all of these opportunities to get the right call and the game has never been called worse.
i'm waiting for refs to wear body cameras like the police - so we find out the real problem all along was not the problem - the problem isn't the players it's the refs.
I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, ref altercations every single year so that we can have fairly/professionally officiated games. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational.-

Same thing I said all season to the "But Cook doesnt play 3rd down" statements: That's a coaching issue, not a Cook issue.
Furthermore, it is a head coaching issue when he allows it to happen.
McDermott’s greatest talent is finding scapegoats.
