You’d be at a neutral karma state by taking Lazy here.

Clearly you think this is funny.
Bless your little heart.

My quest to be less-stitious continues with fantastic results.
Once again, I skipped my normal, years-long game day rituals. Most specifically, not going to the grocery store before the game.
However, I may have begun a new night game superstition without trying or knowing it.
For both night games this season, chicken tenders and waffle fries were on the menu.
I’m okay with rolling with this one, since there are only 3 more night games scheduled for the regular season.

When my grandfather passed, his immediate family decided to have his cat euthanized so they could be buried together.

I was talking to a buddy today, and we were lamenting how as kids we loved baseball, but now no longer follow it.
i was a die-hard Mets fan (would probably watch just about every game on TV), and knew everything about the Mets and MLB.
in 2002, when they threw dumb money at Mo Vaughn, decided to try to outspend the Yankees, and fired my beloved Bobby V, I basically quit following them (and baseball) cold turkey.
Anyone else doing something similar?
When it was rumored that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were going to buy the Mets, I was prepared to Jim ship.
I’ve been a Mets fan since 1983 and I’ve endured A LOT (many have endured much more, for far longer).
But I had mind made up - if the most prolific cheater in MLB history and his skank wife, or whatever she was (she’s ***** someone different every 6 months) bought the Mets, I would become a Red Sox fan until they were out of the fold.
But in never happened, so I’m still rooting for the Metropolitans.

So you want to put the cat down because it wants your attention and love?
You have no idea how over the top this is. Seriously. -
Six years ago, I shared my house with my wife, my son, three cats and a dog.
Wife left me 5 years ago. Dog died shortly thereafter. One cat passed away three months ago … a few weeks after my son moved out. Another passed last week.
So now it’s just me and one cat.
Her name is Lazy. She’s 14.
Since the last cat passed, Lazy has been clingy and noisy.
I can’t watch Jeopardy. I can’t enjoy Mets games. I might lock her downstairs tomorrow night so I can enjoy the Bills game.
I feel like I’m down to two choices:
1. Get another cat to keep Lazy company
2. Bring Lazy to the vet to have her euthanized.
I’m on a fixed income, so I’m leaning (heavily) toward euthanasia.
I’ve been saddled with these animals for the last 20+ years. I get another kitten now and I’m stuck until I ***** retire.
Just throwing it out there to see what you guys would do.
I love Lazy, but I think I’ve paid my dues.
Thanks and Go Bills!

In any game with Dallas and an AFC opponent, I root for the AFC team to lose … but not for a Dallas win.
My rooting interests are always rooting for any possible obstacle to the Bills getting to the Super Bowl to lose.
Like tonight … I’m rooting for the jets to lose because they’re a bigger threat than the Patriots (IMO).
But I’m not rooting for the Pats to win.

did you ever consider that it is a regular sized watch and maybe he has a dainty wrist?
I’m just shocked he’s not wearing two swatches like all the cool kids did in the 80s.

Wowzer, there is a lot in this post for sure.
I don’t understand the shock.
He took advantage of the Rooney Rule.
He dresses like a 14-year-old.
He accessorizes like an idiot.
He lied about Tua’s BRAIN injury so he could win a football GAME. (key words capitalized)
There is a lot to not like about this jerk and I pointed a few things out.

Not even what I am saying at all. Its just surprising to see a team that has the best QB in the league not actually throw the football.
They’re taking what the defense is giving, which is what made Belichick and Brady so successful.
McDermott and Allen should take a page (as many of us have said for many years, now).

This might be the most pathetic looking passing chart I've ever seen. Their entire offense has shifted to throwing behind the los. Im not even saying anything against Mahomes here. You have MAHOMES. Throwing all his passes behind the los. Ok its not all but its half of his passes. He only threw 6 passes past the 5 yard line and 2 of them were INTS. 2 of them incompletions. Also a tight game like that and only 25 passes. Only 151 yards.
I had to go look because I remember commenting on it in the game that he hadnt thrown a pass past the LoS. It was pathetic.
They clearly have no idea what they’re doing, as indicated by back-to-back Lombardis and a 2-0 start this year.
They suck!!

i respect him for quitting his addiction. that's it. addiction is hard. he was a dumbass party boy who is now just a dumbass fraud.
he's a parody of trying to be cool. like he read the manual of what looks cool but has no style.
I had no idea he battled alcoholism.
I would never disrespect or make fun of anyone battling an addiction.
That said - I still stand by everything I’ve stated/opined, as none of has to do with anything related to his addiction battle.

It’s nice to see you bash another coach. Made me almost weep. I printed this and hung it up on my wall. Unless…..I don’t care about him as a coach. He is irrelevant as a coach.
I lost all respect for him when he said Tua had a “back” injury and sent him back into the field.
He’s an opportunist, a fraud and a subpar human being.

The guy is unorthodox, but he may be Autistic so i dont want to throw too much shade at him for it. He is a good coach but he definitely has an odd way about him.
He’s not autistic. He’s an arrogant, pretentious douchebag.
The fake tan (so he can double down on being African American for job security), the stupid oversized watches, the ridiculous looking glasses … everything he does is either because it’s “in” or because it helps with his ridiculous “identity.”
He’s an a-hole.

Two playoff games and the first two this year. His best is five straight. Brady gives him less risky throws and the points and touchdowns are still there. Hope he keeps it going and has a low turnover year.
Thanks for the jinx, New England Boy!!!- 1

Belichek is over-rated. Without Brady, I don't even think he is .500 lifetime. McDermott has a long future in front of him, and could end up the better coach in the end!
You’re gonna need a bigger wand. -

Going out on a limb here since I don’t know either personally…both are also straight men. So many similarities.
I guess you don’t remember when McDermott grabbed Knox’s junk on the sideline.- 2

Regular season wins are cute.
I’m looking for beautiful. Breath-taking.
Bill Belichick and Sean McDermott are white men who’ve coached in the NFL.
That’s where their similarities end.

I’ve been a critic of McDermott for the last few years. Today was his best game IMO. That holds for his coordinators as well. That team was so prepared!! The game plan was perfect and executed at an elite level. They deserve their flowers for this masterful effort.
It was a great game plan and the team looked very disciplined.
It was nice to see and yes - McDermott deserves credit.
For the first time ever, the Bills have the best head coach in the division.
I’m still not a McDermott fan and I hold him responsible for 13 seconds, for giving up against the Bengals, and for every crappy in-game coaching decision.
But he was the better coach last night and I’ll take it.

How did your actions yesterday help the Bills win? Something you ate? Did you change your shirt at halftime? Kick that annoying friend/relative out of the house? Watch "The Vows We Keep" on Hallmark instead of watching the game? I’ll start…
I watched the game at home, not wearing anything Bills related and played solitaire on my phone. I was so in my zone, I did not even see the Tua hit live, only the replays. So you're welcome.
I, too, avoided my normal superstitions (after YEARS of doing the same things).
I did the same last Sunday.
It’s pretty clear the Bills can dedicate the 2-0 start to me, following my decision to become non-stitious.
